Description : I did this from back in 2009 when i was still in college.... its nothing serious and im not much of a singer but i just love the song and its one of my favorites and i felt like singing it in my studio....Enjoy

Description : A pretty apt representation of where I'm at in life right now.
I would call it atmoshpheric as opposed to ambient but I think this is the best choice out of the available options.
Made entirely with midi.
Comments and critiques appreciated. I know there's a point where the synth mallets (You'll know them when they come in) are a bit too quiet, particularly toward the end of the song, so I'm aware of that already.
Instruments used are piano, synth mallet, synth, and drums.
There's a bit of inspiration from Minecraft's music and the instrumental tracks on Linkin Park's "A Thousand Suns" album (the distinction between the two is pretty evident, I hope). The mallet part didn't come from anything in particular.
Enjoy.

Description : This took me around 3 hours, I was searching through the acapellas on here to sample and found a great acapella by MOON WHISPER, heard then wrote this track to it, I first intended to make a dubstep track but came out with this, which is more ambient, I used very simple piano riffs, and this was all done on FL studio 10, please review, thanks.

Description : Track built in an afternoon and then filled with Effluence's spoken word acapella. I think that the contrast between the the music style and the mood of Effluence's words fit well with the contrast between love and pain presented in the lyrics. Probably some more tweaks could be made to make it sound better.

Description : Cumbus is a Turkish stringed instrument. In construction it resembles both the American banjo and the Middle Eastern oud. A fretless instrument, it has six courses of doubled-strings, and is generally tuned like an oud. In shape, though, it closely resembles the banjo with a metal resonator bowl and skin body head. It has a loud, metallic, resonant tone and is widely heard in Middle Eastern popular music.

This track was made start off with the bass line out of sync. Then I found a really nice electronic Carbon kit for the drums, added some effect on the drum, then topped it with one or two takes on the piano.
To finish I'd like to add some live flute, but my studio is now temporarily out of action as some new purchases are on there way, and I'm relocating.

Description : I'm really pleased with this piece. It has a really nice dream like feel to it. Added some simple echo and reverb effects, and ended up with this! Please let me know what you think of it, so that I can make more good music!
