Name: Make me FIRE
Duration: 229 s

Description: Hi people, I was very busy the last few weeks, studying and stuff. I was searching in my documents and i find an unfinished project. During this project I knew why i stopped making this beat the last time. It was a seriously impossible beat to make!!! But my head said: finish the beat! I did that, and i will say: it was tough to make it right. So, please! tell me what you think! Thanks people!

wow u sound like a natural to pull one off like this. Thats some great sounding synth and the beat is pretty sick.

Babbba 9th Nov 2010 22:13 - 15 years ago

Well done. About the beat: R&B beats usual need more density on HH, (mostly close HH). These beats should be complementary to BD and SD. Even there is not a rule on that, try some 16" different beats on HH until u are pleased of the balance. In some cases, also some additional arps give a plus of color to the rhythm section. About the mixing: a plus on groove, you can get by lowering the leads, and higher the drums (BD/HH mostly, with SD keeping 75% fade off resonance). Try these small corrections, and kill me after:))
Best regards,
