Description : Gilberto Sanchez aka skillfulgil acapella, here on Looperman, was foundation for this track. Groove is perhaps something approaching reggaeton. Just a bunch of standard percussion samples out of FL Studio. I used different sequences in Transistor Bass instrument which was a lot of fun.

Description : reggaeton and zouk were jumping off points in this track. there were some challenges with phrasing where some odd meters needed to be incorporated. but throwing in extra beats now and then is cool to throw off the dancers! Used transistor bass plugin in FL Studio. Used drummax for several perc sounds.

That's the kind of beat I'm hoping to make myself someday. As much as I like the classic dembows and fast pace of reggaetn music, that gets repetitive after awhile: so what really makes this beat stand out is its awesome background melody. I don't know what college you went to, but if nothing else you learned to create nice beats! :)
