    Good One MrClindsay,
I am not familiar with what MrFunktastic provided as starting point, but I enjoyed a lot your interpretation.
Section starting at 1:10 is a nice touch of modernity on something otherwise very "funky". Lot of different elements making this track a success.

You`ve got a ton of funk going on here clindsay....big bouncy mix that leaves bo doubt about the genre..kind of a combination of the classic funk sounds with a more modern appraoch to the vox bits and drops...big fun listen too....way to go....Ed

My opinion man, i think, there is to much happening all at once. Give an instrument the spotlight and push everything back. My advice, keep it simple, give it space and room to breath and think. Take out some elements if you have to. Listen to your gut and just react.

Thanks - the challenge for this one was to pull the track along from Funk to Dance using a defined set of loops. I get what you're saying and I thought about making it longer with better focus as you suggest. Thanks for your honest comments - much appreciated.

Very cool production. That tempo change was nice. Good electronic/dance/club type of feel combined with some fine latin elements I can hear around 2:34. Good choise with vocals. This is definitely my favourite song from the contest. Great job. Congrats, Alex

Thanks! - I think the latin element was caused by uptempoing hip hop drums. Now that I hear it it does sound a bit latiny but it was supposed to sound dance/hip-hoppy. Thanks again for your kind comments.

Hello Clindsay, this is realy a cool one!

Realy enjoy the listen. fresh stuff with a nice crazy mixture of sounds. Ok, i dont hear to much of the Funktastic stems, but i am sure thats because you mixed all so well into something own.

    Great track, cool work.

    stay tuned

Thanks Joe - this one was a lot of fun - This is set to 128bpm(dance mode)so the funktastic stems were adjusted accordingly and they form the basis of the bass and rhythm lines.
Used:Funk Strat, Slap Bass, Clav Updated, Grand Piano, Drums1, Drums2.
    Thanks for your kind comments.
