I was doing the "DAW DISCO" with my coffee this morn.
Here is the end result.
Personally, I love it. ...(well, just the beginning part.) It sounds "poppy" with an industrial feel to it, but after about 2 minutes or so, It seems to fizzle out .
Any suggestions would be welcome and appreciated.

Some work, some dont. I feel as if this one needs something and cant put my finger on it. So I stop adding anything because I can overproduce a track so much, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis could not keep up.

I like the way some parts turned out, and less about others.

Description : *When I composed this, I did it with a "rap group" in mind. Kinda like Goodie Mob "What it is, What it ain't", with different switches for different lyrics...with the cresssshindo being the chorus.. I dunno if I achieved that, but, I am finally at a point that I am happy with it. (or tired of it, whicheverthecasemaybe.) ;)
Pee Ess I listened and downloaded a few loops from this site. They were absolute perfection, awsomeness, groovy, grits eatin ___ loops. They were from DJ4Real and Mechanik Synths. (and one other guy I forgot his name, please forgive me and expect this to be edited. I used a couple in this song. They were too good not to use.

I had to fine tune a couple of things, but I. AM. DONE.! with this track! If I do anything else, I may need an intervention...lol
I think this track holds the record for most "tweek time".
I would guesstimate that I have spent 24 hours alone just tweaking and fine tuning... and I still am not happy with it...lol.
I also thinks this hold the record for the most samples on a drum track I ever used in a single song. To get this "crashing sound" I wanted, it took 7 samples alone, and that is just the kick drum part.
I hate being a virgo.

As with all my tracks, I like to make them very unique. Pull you from one emotion to another. So this is dilebrate in its slight "off kilterness" ;)
Description : I like using sounds in ways not too conventional. I like to pop in a melody in a different key or stutter the tempo with the words, etc. so in the song when you hear the keys detune or not finish ...etc. Just know all badness and fracturing is intentional...lol.

As always, I adhere to the rules of this site. So I removed a five second loop from the beginning of Lil Kims How Many Licks. So if parts of the song seem like they are missing a Lil somethin. Kim is what it is. (or isn't?) Anywho,
Sampling well known tracks is part of Hip Hop culture. "Creative" (and that is the key word) sampling adds so much to a track. And to anyone who can relate, it is often harder to use a sample in a song than it is to write a new riff.

I wanted it to sound like the world was physically changing, and my goal was to make the drumline sound like a rubble landslide...but still be a beat.

Description : Just messin' around on my DAW, and this was the end result. I like putting things that do not go together, together. You can get some interesting results sometimes. ;)
Description : This started out as a sound doodle that" was inspired by a HOT guitar loop by MCHN (and the song ends by a NUCLEAR HOT loop by PlanetJazzBass) (and even hotter is a synth loop that is full Fushiaka smouldering )
I was mainly just mixing Sytrus with different frequencies. (I get tired of hearing the same "boom bap" all the time. I am always mixing different sound odditys, the beginning is actually me popping my finger on my cheek-looped ;)
Anyway, I liked the way some of it sounds, so I am going to "tighten and lighten" it up.
When I have time. hehe.
