Description : I couldn't get anything done while things were on my head. This song represents my own frustration and personal set backs. So many changes happened this year, it was hard to sit back and just make music.

Description : I was inspired to make this song while listening to a rapper and watching a video. Since I use a lot of strings and choir, I thought it would be a change of pace to up the tempo and use different sounds. Listening to this makes me feel like I'm underwater and somewhere along the way, there was a spy involved... Enjoy.

Description : This song is a dark reflective song. A sad violin is interrupted with distraction and an ongoing mood in the back ground shares uncertainty. There are elements of happy moments, yet the listener can feel the struggle between joy and sadness.

Description : This is a dark song that was inspired by the grim reaper waiting in the woods. There is a curtain of fog that makes a weary individual desperate to find where he is going. For me there was a little bit of anger and aggression behind the drums. Thanks for listening, I hope you enjoy it.

Description : It took me 3 weeks to come up with this. I had creative block and just couldn't get anything out. Thanks to the members in my community on Google+, I had help working through this and this is what I finally came up with.
This song captured the feelings I got from looking at an image of a dark angel with outstretched wings standing on a mountain with swords in his hands and lighting striking from ominous clouds. Its as though he was ending a battle and staring out over the destruction of the land.

Aggressive hip hop beat. I really worked on eliminating the low end frequencies, so that my bass no longer hums. Also increased the gain so the volume can be raised without losing the essence of the sound and compressed and equalized the drums. Please let me know how it sounds on your end. All my work is on http://soundcloud/jannicole-capelli. I started on remaking all my sound, but decided I will leave it alone, as the music I have already produced is my journey.

This song was inspired by listening to another musician. His song talked about loving someone, but was treating her badly. Although I loved parts of his voice, there were parts of his song I couldn't get to match my sound. Instead of slicing up his work, I thought it best to just leave the music alone. Ultimately, I felt this song represented a greater freedom for me as an artist. It showed me that I am not confined to the art or opinion of others. I hope this song can bring you the same freedom it brings me.
