Between 0:14 and 0:27 you can already drop the 808 drum pattern and then from 0:27 onwards to the next drop put the live "marching soldier" drums they have at military parades and then switch back to the 808 bass and drums.

2 things:
1) you have to add some strings, this is gonna give it extra depth.
2) a background choir to accompany the lead voice.
For the rest everything is spot on to my ears, your recording is very clean and polished, the only thing apart from the above left to do is re-record the vocals, but you've laid down the foundation for what this baby is going to end up like.

You definitely have enough for an EP, you just need to EQ it a bit to master it i think, maybe a little bit of compression on the master track to blend/glue the rain sample together with the rest of the track.
I use Soundcloud as my distribution service to all other major music streaming platforms. Soundcloud has a 'Pro Unlimited' account where you can ditribute unlimited tracks, you just pay a fixed amount per year but you can ditribute unlimited tracks instead of paying per track to distribute.
Goeie tips! Ja dat is geen gek idee, dan kan ik eerst beilig op SOundcloud publiceren, misschien een beetje spelen en tracks uitwisselen, en als ik tevreden ben naar Spotify etc. Goed idee!
Mixing en Mastering is idd niet mn sterke punt :eyeroll: :D ik probeer het te leren, maar het zou helemaal niet gek zijn om 4 tracks te kiezen, exporteren en naar een expert te sturen om er het meeste uit te halen.

You know what? I remember she was "old" when I was young - but the "old" Tina was actually younger (in age and possibly spirit) than me today ;)
Anyway yes, I could hear that; I was myself thinking of maybe a French singer like Charles Aznavour, but in any case a proper singer with a proper voice... that would be awesome :)

The only thing i would do is fix the drum patterns and tone down on the volume and distortion effect.. :)
And also create more melody lines with the synth and add some strings.

I love the keys.. just absolutely fantastic man. Great track.
The only thing i would do is make a new mix to accomodate for vocals. Or just leave it like this as an instrumental.. but you never know what a singer or rapper can do with this, you can go many ways with this.
