That's dope when your guitar has the customized colors on the body.. I saw a video about a guy that dipped his whole guitar in a big bucket of paint and when he pulled it out the guitar body had all vibrant colors on it.. I would pay good money for a custom design like that lol

...and the crazy thing is that these are the same drum/synth/choir loops every 16 bars, super minimalistic, but it sounds deep and complicated.
Technically i just played with the filter freq/res on the mixer channel master track, i kind of accidentally did an "arrangement" that brought out different facets of the synth and choir sounds.
It's like looking at a painting from different sides/angles in different lighting, don't know how to explain it precisely.
I love how the choir and the synth blended well together, it's like they became one... but yeah the real secret sauce is the filter/res automation on the mixer master track.

In my case, i have different musical identities/genres, people assume that my main genre is hiphop but actually I'm more of a movie soundtrack/experimentalist producer, im always looking to create new sounds in genres that are not mainstream.
Throughout the years as i gained more music experience/theoretical knowledge my music started to sound too polished and structured, like i am trying to be perfect at the cost of the vibe itself kinda.. that's more what i mean when I said I want to go back to the beginning. You are right.. applying what i know now to my old projects is only going to make it better and it has. Just musically i sometimes feel I'm trying to be too much like someone else and all i need to be is me and that's enough is basically what I'm tryna say.

I think this track is good as a stand-alone instrumental, i have no idea where i would add vocals that's why I haven't recorded anything yet over this, there is no room for vocals on this track but maybe someone else has ideas..
I have always had this idea of a music video for this track where a person is sitting in the back of a car looking out the window and it's raining.. don't know why but that has always stuck wit me in my head.
Thanks again for the listen and constructive jnput, i appreciate it.

When you do a live guitar solo over a beat it makes the beat sound expensive and classy, it's like a track isn't finished if there is no guitar on it haha..
I bought my first electric guitar last year, a Squire stratocaster but haven't really played it much due to being too busy.
I'll check out some of ur loops but I'm more interested in that Nu Metal band u used to play in amd how it sounded

Are you strong in music theory or do you do everything by ear??
Yeah for me it's BIG milestone in production, song arrangement, mixing and engineering; almost the whole process, except music theory I need to learn more about scales and chords.

But yeah at one point you just need to stop tweaking the track constantly and just be happy with what you got otherwise it becomes an eternal ongoing project I guess.
On another note, i think for most people there is too much melancholy in this type of track, it grows on you and not everybody likes that feeling but i might be wrong and maybe others hear something else in the track.
