Cheers for the listen Cam. I have done some remixes in the past but have not done any for a long time, but you never know. Hope your creations are going great. Take care brother. Blessings - B.
Thanks. I am musically very ambitious and almost always try to make something unusual that I haven't really heard anyone else make before.
The synth pads play quite a background, atmospheric role, with the cello as the main instrument a lot of the time. Rather minimal drums for me. Not very interesting or busy but still effective.
The best songs are the ones that allow someone to communicate something to others that cannot simply be expressed in words. I appreciate you allowing us all to get a glimpse inside the mind of someone like yourself. You are not disabled, only uniquely-minded. Take care and keep it up!
Thanks for your friendly words and the time you invest into listen to this track and writing this gentle comment. Good to know that you could enjoy this little song.
I have a lot of respect for artists who are able to make real interpretive music like this. There is so much room to think and visualize with this song, so many fluctuations and layers to pick apart, I love it.
I visited your profile, as I tend to do when I do not know a "name" around here. To my surprise, you have been around here for some time, maybe in the shadows lurking. I saw the songs which you had commented on, and your hip hop song, and I am eager to hear what is going on with the seeming contradictions. Looking forward to returning this favor. Even more that you describe your work as "conformist."
Your comment made me happy. I do seek to be interpreted, and to encourage thought and mind travel.
I found the reference to "layers" as interesting. For my work, this is almost as minimal as it gets, since it was only two instruments recorded simultaneously... with a couple effects added with live manipulations. To think that this has layers, like peeling an onion, gives me hope that people are seeing deeper than I think. It's all even deeper than I think, and peeling that onion goes on forever.
To have a song like this "loved" is quite an honor, and I thank you! Have a good day!
This reminds me a lot of Through The Roots, that dope electronic reggae vibe. What sort of theme were you thinking for this song, I'd love to cook up some vocals!
This track could really get people dancing, I agree with LRAD, try using compressors on the individual tracks instead of just mixing with the volume controls. They help to mix everything into one track and don't drown anything out! Keep it up!

Damn, you should make one of those 80'2 remixes of a modern pop song!

Cool idea, but try and make something in the same key and on the same tempo with the vocals to make it work!

This definitely gets me pumped up, I feel like fighting someone haha. The vocal tuning sounds a lot like Rucka Rucka Ali

Dope use of all the Asian instruments, really keeps the theme.

That gated vox is sick, really brings the whole beat together.

Great Autotune balance, not too robotic, but perfectly melodic. And the harmonizing is hella rad!

This is sick, I have nothing to critique but it would sound so dope if you could get some kind of vocal with a heavy vocoder on the build-up!
