An absolutely fantastic track. Hightly entertaining and skillfully crafted. The more I searxh around this site, the greater the array of talent I find.
I had a similar problem with a track of mine, but it was with the bass, not the drums. People kept saying how it needed a baseline and I kept replying, but it does.
Talk about loads of atmosphere. This baby has it. Makes me imagine a cave where there dwells some evil monks guarded by lovely sirens and such. Will the hero succeed?
I echo what ShortBus said. Regarding the vocals, you could also duplicate the vocal track, offset by a 64 the note and then pan each of the two vocal tracks slightly in opposite directiosn say 10 or 15. Gives a nice 3 dimensional effect. Also you could aplly both suggestions.
Had to come back and check this one out again. It sounds better to me for some reason (might be because I'm listening through speakers and not headphones).
