I haven't really listened to much reggaeton, so I'm not sure what it "should" sound like, lol, but I really like this piece. It is a very pleasant listen, well arranged and well produced.

Thanks for listening to and reviewing my track! I'll try to get some more up the next couple days, I have several halfbaked projects I need to finish haha, If you review any of them don't be afraid to be critical! I thrive off of constructive criticism! Thanks again

on Choral Reflections by truegrit
I cut one of my tracks into two pieces to put the entire piece up as well (More Time parts 1 and 2). It would be nice to hear the rest of this piece.

This is a beautiful piece. You did a great job with your arrangement and production. Everything is in its proper place and it sounds great with headphones and through the speakers.

Hi John,Thank you for a lovely review , I am glad
that you liked Choral Reflections. It is a shame that we have to shorten our work to get it played, and loose a lot of the overall character of the track, but I suppose that is understandable, with the amount of tracks being uploaded and I think Looperman does a great job in Administrating the site. This track builds up to a crescendo towards the end and the full version is about 16 minutes long.I will upload the second half over Xmas and call it Choral Reflections 2.
Have a nice Xmas and a happy New Year.
Thanks again.

First off, I really liked the beginning of this track. Great guitar work. As the track progressed, I thought, hmm, Lady Gaga does metal (a compliment, her commercial appeal is because of her talent, unlike most others). From concept to manifestation, this track has many things that make it great.

I, personally, wouldn't call this metal. It seems more alternative rock. In any case, it was a very well conceived and interesting tracks. Your voice seemed very pleasant to the ear. I think I'll check out another of your tracks.

Keep up the good work

A very interesting track, made me think of the old British TV series UFO (which I watched not so long ago). Very cool arrangement and spotless production.

Cool deal mate. I've never heard of that show (is it sci-fi or just sci/docu style?). Kinda reminds me of some of the older anime classics in parts (like Ghost In The Shell with vocoded stuff). Glad ya dug it. Later on!

I don't think this track is as simple as you might think. Lots of great moments in this piece, my friend, shows a very intuitive understanding of music.

Well thanks John! That's a nice compliment. I guess it felt so simple to me... but it's always nice to hear some other great opinions about it. Glad you like it! Maybe I should put dnb to rest for a while, haha. Greetz

I am honestly always surprised when someone reviews a rock or metal song and talks about repetition. Repetition is the essence of rock and roll. Anyways, this is a great track. Only thing that could improve it are some hot vocals.

Thanks for the listen and review, John.

Actually, I am a MAJOR Zappa fan (especially the "Shut Up And Play Your Guitar" albums). I always liked the way he mangled the standard chord progressions and waltzed in and out of key, so I guess I've been influenced a bit by it.

Peace,

Mike
