Love that chant, well positioned. There were a few places I thought a nice scream would have fit and one or two places where I might have added sqwueeling tires.
With a few random vocal samples and effects you could have something very resembling Lennon's revolution #9 (but with more order) with this track. I very much like this Well done.
There is a lmost a swelling in this piece at some points that makes me think of wlking through the square and encountering a great number of busy, hustling tourists.
Hey man! Thanks for taking the time to check out my newest track! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed what I created in this track.Your description of the many tourists rushing around the square is most accurate as it is also one of the elements I tried to include in the track! Glad you could feel it and thanks for the cool review man :-)
ha ha no, it's just a peice of the song, the rest of it is in dire need of remastering. and I need to work on the verses, which im at writers block right now..
yeah man the abrupt ending i guess is just what i felt at the time...i do need to work on that part of my tunes better though, thanks man. like i said when i get my head phones back ill shoot you some reviews man.
The track is quite good as it stands, but some vocals would definitely send this over the top. I love minimalist type pieces like this, prob because I can't seem to manage doing them (lol).
I truly enjoyed listening to this piece. I look forward to hearing more of your work.
Believe me, she has the voice, but not much as far as eye candy goes!! lol. I did lay tracks down. Not me playing. Yeah, I like the outcome of the instrument parts, too. I had fun making it. Glad you enjoyed it-greatly appreciated the review-thanks for the fav bud!
The name is what first grabbed it and I am sure happy it did. This is a very sweet piece of music, my friend, very sweet. Well contructed and well produced.
This isn't a genre I'm really all that familiar with so I can't really comment from that perspective. As a geeral lover of music, however, I can say that I like this track.
This track started out very strange, lol, which is often a good thing in my books. From there, it got even better. This is a very unique track, I love it. Great imagination coupled with great production skills.
hey thx john for the kind words...this song so far was just an idea for a collab but i guess there was no interest at the other end.lol oh well its all good...maybe ill go back and finish sometime.thx for the fav brother.
Thanks for the listen and review, John ~ I really do appreciate it, bro.
This was one of the first tracks I recorded, so I'm not too pleased with it any more. I now consider it to be a bit simplistic for my tastes, so I'll probably redo it sometime soon.
Yep mate....well actually 15-16 minutes...start to finish...Felix his brother Cam and I grew up together..we've had thousands of impromptu jams over the years, sadly Cam died a few years ago and Felix moved to Queensland about a thousand miles away!...land of the Cane Toads. lol cheers Dave

This is great. Love it. I think the backing track you put together for the vocals is perfect. That sax is excellent. Did you use loops?
Excellent job
