Hi John, I'm glad you think enough of the track to fav. it. Thanks man. Ian did an excellent job on the vocals as he had the kind of vocals (sad) that were needed. Take Care and thanks John.

I think Blume summed it up quite well. I would suggest checking the acapellas section to see if there might be some lyrics you could add to the track.

on Angels in the Desert remix by Sukuta
I like your avatar. Is that a yeti?

This piece is very different from anything I've heard on the site. A great melding of genres. Where did you get those operetic vocals? Well composed, well produced and wonderfully unique.

A must fav

John
Sukuta
Sukuta replied Unknown
Well spotted. The yeti was a visualisation for a character in a fantasy story I'm struggling to write. Sukuta, a member of the Kwembe race in the story, struck a chord in me so I used her as my avatar.

I see you've reviewed (and posted) many, many tracks on this site so I'm really pleased you think the piece has originality and merit.

on The Correct Answer (Club Mix) by TraXnCtrl
I don't know if it's the changes you made or just my mood today, but I can't believe I diodn't fav this track before. It rolls along like a happy train ride through Pleasantville.

Faved and downloaded (checked first this time, lol)

TraXnCtrl
TraXnCtrl replied Unknown
I did a fair bit to increase the loudness as well as the filter effect sections, but I think the thing that moves this along better is the additional beats including two kicks, some snares on the off beat with occasional double hits and some reverse snares to make the slip sound. Also I wasnt into FX as much in 2009 when I made the original!

Thanks as always for your comments, Download and fave.

I love people like yourself who take a genre such as rap that has gotten such a bad reputation because of the "gangstas" and demonstrate that it can be used to deliver a positive message and deserves recognition as artistic genre.

Great track, my friend

Glad you enjoyed this John. It's definitely the best track I've done to date. I've been suffering from really bad writers block recently, it could be a long time until i come up with a track to match this. Thanks for your comment :)

I like them both versions about the same.

L3PR0SY replied Unknown
Yeah, it was a very minor edit, I would've just changed the file and left one song up but for some reason that wasn't working and I was feeling impatient. About what you asked on the other version, yep, vocals are on the way! My dorm's just not the best place for recording them :p

Love the horn. This track has a really nice laid back vibe about it. The drums could prob be brought up front a tad, but that's just my opinion.
