Wow!
You can really hear the real instruments. The sound is like listening to you play live. I loved the part where it seems like the guitar is speaking and the keyboard is responding. A great performance, worthy of a musician of your caliber.
Congratulations, I really enjoyed it.

on 11 - I KEEP MOVING LIKE STAYING WOULD KILL ME by LINEARFADE
I don't know what else to say about your work, it's amazing.
The sound is always perfect. The lyrics captivate you and draw you into the story thanks to that incredible performance.
I have to admit, Nadine has me completely smitten, haha. The way she starts singing practically in a whisper and then suddenly, at 1:30, she breaks into that raw, powerful voice. I imagined Nadine traveling along those endless desert highways in the US, going through cities, stopping at motels, searching and not finding.
I loved it!
Congratulations to the entire LINER FADE family.

My dear friend Juan Carlos, I dont really know what to say anymore about your comments and the strength and joy you give us once again. Honestly, I look forward to your feedback every time I upload a track, because an opinion from an artist like you (and some other very good friends here on the site) is extremely important to us. Well, Nadine is a sweet girla professional musician and performer. She is a wonderful singer with extensive studies in her field. We were very lucky. There are many great voices out there, just like here on the site, and once we finish this album we should start thinking about collaborations. But what is not easy to find is the ability to step into the role of the lead character. She helps us a lot in composition, harmony, and everything in between. We will be losing her now, as she is going abroad to continue her studies alongside, as far as I know, important figures in the field of theatrical music. But she promised she will also help us with our next album, INDUSTRIAL STORIES. Another big thank you from all of us.
Im looking forward to hearing something of yours soon, my friend. Chris

on 1- WHEN THE LIGHT BURNS by LINEARFADE
I wish you all the best in promoting the album; you deserve it.

And every time you explain the process you used for the vocals, guitars, etc., I'm amazed. Now I understand why you've taken so long to create this album, but the result is wonderful.
I hope that one day your work will be released physically, the old-fashioned way, on vinyl or CD, so I can buy it and have it on my shelf, next to Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Metallica, Queen, Dire Strait, etc. I'm also sure that the album cover and interior would be incredible, worthy of your lyrics.
Best of luck with this project, and thank you for the detailed explanations you give me.
Regards, Juan Carlos

Noooooo, don't stop making jazz!
This is really good.
You have to have a special gift to make these compositions. That sax, the bass rhythm, the piano, and the precision are incredible. The vocals at the end were the icing on the cake, beautiful.
It's the work of true professional artists.
Congratulations! I really enjoyed listening to it.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

on 1- WHEN THE LIGHT BURNS by LINEARFADE
Brilliant work, dark atmosphere it creates for the story.

Before, I enjoyed your music and your voices, but now, being able to read what you write is on another level. It happened to me again, like the other day: if I close my eyes, I can see the dark city, the dangerous alleyways, the gloomy atmosphere, and the nocturnal vices. All with the set design and atmosphere, as I told you the other day, of the movie "Sin City."
From 1:45 onwards, I got goosebumps. I liked the background voice that comes in at 2:50; it was like wailing from a dark alley. And from 3:00 onwards, the two voices narrating seemed sublime to me. As always, incredible guitars and percussion.
You are becoming my go-to Soul Rock band.
Congratulations on the excellent work you all do, the whole band.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

Well, my friend Juan Carlos, thank you feels too small for your comments and for the strength they give us. Right now Im at my advertiser friends place, working a bit on the album promotion.
Let me tell you a few things about this track. First of all, the vocals were recorded in one take. We didnt dare record them again. Three songs on the album were recorded that way, and this is one of them. It took a lot of work to shape the vocals into something we could fully support musically without changing the essence of the song itself.
We wanted exactly what you described: something dark, cinematic, and immersive, so the listener could actually feel the scene. Using Melodyne and the Eventide Quadravox, I worked on correcting the vocal imperfections and harmonies. The secondary vocals especially the female spoken part are completely natural, not a plugin. We recorded many guitar layers, kept only a few, and then filled the atmosphere carefully with some effects.
The result turned out even better than we expected. We really loved the noir atmosphere it created and yes, it does feel a bit like a scene from Sin City. It was a very difficult track to perform, and all of us were extremely satisfied with the final result.
Once again, thank you. Soon youll have the full album, so you can listen to it in high quality whenever you want.
Take care, my friend.
With appreciation,
Chris & LINEAR FADE

This sounds great. The only thing I would have changed is giving the vocals a bit more presence, but it's a very good track.

I am glad you like it Juan !! What you say gives me great joy because even though my tools are outdated, I try very hard to approach naturalness (I always remember how much negative reviews I received in a midi contest because I had fixed velocities and/or other values in some notes... In fact, some strict reviewers taught me to be very careful with the use of midi tools. Thank you very much for your so encouraging and kind comment !! Cheerssssss !!

As soon as I heard the first 15 seconds, I said: This is promising!
I loved it. A great track and the perfect voice for this genreis that you?
The only thing is, although I'm far from a sound expert, quite the opposite, I'm learning, but the volume seemed a little distorted to me. But don't listen to me and listen to the great experts we have here.
I've heard other songs of yours and this is the one I liked the most. Congratulations, great job.

on PROBE by fonoskop
Right now, AI is all the rage, but it will never replace a real musician. It's too perfect, and that's tiring, besides the fact that it has no merit. For example, in the third song I created, I used it to adapt the lyrics I had in mind into English (I don't speak English, and I'm embarrassed about it) and to create the vocals so I wouldn't have to use someone else's lyrics and voice, although I would have loved for someone from this community with incredible voices to sing it (I was too embarrassed to ask). I think that just as the invention of the camera didn't kill off painters, despite its image perfection, it's now just a matter of time before people demand originality and the work of a real creator, a true musician, and not a program that makes songs in a minute.
Let's have hope. Best regards, Juan Carlos

Thanks, Juan, for the kind words. I feel like it's already too late, though. AI takes no prisoners :) In time, it will produce every genre of music, and we won't even be able to distinguish it from human-made compositionsif that's even possible today... Over time, there will be fewer and fewer of ushomegrown musicians. We'll just be creating 'for the drawer'for ourselves.
