I really like the long drawn out synth that's under everything from 0:17 - 0:45. The change at 1:21 is really cool and well done.

I love the variation at 1:09. It's great to hear progression in trap beats.

Glad you liked it! It's good to switch the beat up a little

on That Sax Drive by ronabo
Great stuff. The sax might be the centerpiece, but the percussion is killing it as well. I love how the high end sounds a little "messy" at 1:28. A very full track. It's great to hear every instrument perform its best.

Very cool. There's a subtle rhythmic clicking that I really like. There are a lot of great instruments. This track reminds me of something Massive Attack could have made.

The percussion is awesome. I love the fuzzy clap. Great texture overall. It sounds very ethereal.

Such a cool blend of ideas. It stays unpredictable through the whole track. The formant sounding instrument is really cool and adds nice texture. The breakdown is a great mix of edm and funk.

on Funk You by BLEEP
Excellent mix. Every instrument is outstanding. I think my favorite thing is the way you used the vocal snippets. Also, the keyboard solo would make the Doors jealous.

on the ckhld - Urban Wolves demo by thechockehold
That hat is awesome. The tone in general is really cool. The guitars are dirty but the mix never sounds muddy. I bet the brass will make it even greater.
HeathAlexander
You made the loops work pretty well together. It can be hard just using loops and making something cohesive. I like how you delayed the drop.

on Dont Let It Slip - On The Low Prod by SacredElementBeats
Super cool. That echoing vocal(?) in the background for most of the track is really well done. I also like the minimal use of bass.

on Salt Sugar by Lonelyawxy
You've done a pretty good job of keeping the beat interesting by adding variation to the accompanying instruments. One thing I would suggest is to have the main piano lead develop. There are sections like 0:58 - 1:17 that I think would benefit from the piano being removed altogether. The piano just stuck out as a bit repetitive.

on Hammering by JSer
Very bouncy. That opening is awesome. The switch at 0:32 was unexpected but fit very nicely. The undertone at 1:36 was a neat way to add variety.

Thanks! I was not sure about the undertone at first but I'm glad I kept it in!

on Lil July - Fire by Lonelyawxy
The guitar is really cool and fits with the percussion. The octave combination sounds great as well. The one thing that stuck out was the lack of variation. The song doesn't have any real progression after 0:11.

This is really well done for only a 4th attempt. Nice and mellow.

I've listened to all of your tracks and each one always has an increase in quality. You executed this really well especially the drop from 2:17 - 2:44. I don't know if it's your dubstep influence, but it sounds great.

on Moss Mother Part 1 - Sun by ValveDriver
Very cool intro. Very grandiose. Personally, as far as influence, I hear Black Sabbath and a touch of Metallica. Your drums are fantastic, but maybe need just a small boost to the low end. The switch to that Mr. Crowley organ at 3:54 was awesome. In total, a great progressive metal song. Doesn't even need vocals. The music speaks for itself.

Heath, first let me apologize for the year long delay. I kinda dropped this track here and got busy with life and forgot about it.

Second. Thank you for not only taking the time to listen to it, but to leave a kind comment as well. I always find it interesting to know what others hear in my work. The fact that you heard Black Sabbath and Metallica is no surprise to me. Those were two of the earliest and most influential bands of my teen years. You may not hear it, but there's even some Pink Floyd in there. Some of the Old Timer Loopermen that are familiar with me and my work may pick it up. They know that I'm a Floyd Junkie..

Anyhow, again, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the track.

Take care.
