I'm liking this tune a lot. The drum beats go nice with the loops. Only suggestion I would make is to tone the bass down a bit in the beginning, cuz it sounds a little loud. Other than that, it's cool! Nice work.

Really cool song! I love the piano, and especially all the reverb feeling. Great transition into dance mode too.

Hey, nice to hear another of your tracks! Sounds like definitely a chilled atmosphere with those high-tone synths. I like the dubstep of course, and I really like the way it starts with a boom. That's a cool way for an intro.

Hello and yeah I've been cutting back on music alot, but thanks :) and yeah I think so too, that's why I use that in alot of my intros.

Really cool. Nice work on the complex parts. Personally I think that style is hard to do. If you don't mind my asking, I'd like to know what you use, whether you work with loops, samples, or if you start from scratch using all your own creations.

I mostly use the vsts Zeta+1 & 2 for my main synthesizers as well as Massive for wobbles and other stretchy bass sounds. I like artists like Skrillex, Tristam, and Pegboard Nerds so I take some of what I hear and learn from them and apply it. All my work is 90% original made with minimal stock sounds and loops that I cut and stretch to my beck and call. It takes a lot of originality and technicality to be a successful musical artist, but what I am really looking for is someone to collaborate with. I can create cool melodies and stuff, but I need someone to work with for ideas. I want to get out there, it's just difficult to do alone. Thanks for the complements.

This is chill, Kasper. I could definitely hear this on chillout radio. The voice really makes it too, I think - at the beginning and at the end.

on In Love With Love ft 3v3sound by RampatheSwift
Who can say if it's weird because it's made from samples? That's not for me to judge. I think the arrangement is important, and if you are comfortable building from samples, then why not do it? The key of the song isn't that mysterious, by the way. It's easy to tell that something is off when the vocals play during the piano. It just sounds like the two weren't made to be together. Why not try a different piano or different vocals? Also, thanks for your comments about my music. I appreciate that too.

You misunderstand me. I meant that this song was made starting with nothing but the acapella, and progressed from that. I had a go at searching for another acapella that suits, but no luck. I shall take this as a hit and miss, but I understand what you mean.. I am so oblivious to the clashing of keys in this song..
Your comments are an eye opener.. I really need to study up on my music theory =\ and knowledge of keys. Thanks for listening. I appreciate your advice and i'll keep an eye out for your next upload.

on In Love With Love ft 3v3sound by RampatheSwift
I like the music a lot, but the vocals don't go well with it. There are two different musical keys going on, and they clash. You might want to consider different vocals to match the song. Good luck

Thanks, I appreciate your opinion. I don't know a lot about keys, but mayb i should get familiar with them. you're good. i just listened to a handful of your tunes. I like the arrangement & progressiveness of them a lot, not to mention the mix is flawless... Is it weird that i made this track from that sample tho?

You have a good beat going, but it could be better if the bass was more present. Also the vocals used don't really match up well with your track.

on Arabian Nights by XmafaX
The guitars are awesome as well as the bass. Sometimes it's hard to keep one idea per song, and you can end up with a few too many different things going on for one song. But for one of your first tracks, good job, keep up the good work. I think the best part of the song is after 3:00 to the end.

This is nice and fluid. The piano is a nice part of the track. I like how it all drops in the middle for a breather. It's well done.

Great chords used in this track. I got hooked on the bass line and the pads (or whatever they are). The only thing is I was annoyed by the voice sample. Sorry.

on Falling by DJMiasmic
my favorite part is at 2:20, with the piano. To me though it sounds like there is a conflict in bass chords. Like one of your bass sounds plays one chord, and another sounds plays a different chord. I don't know if you care but I thought I would tell you my thoughts on it. Other than that, I like the feel and mood of the overall track.

Nice work. Good energy with that bass line and melody. I'm feelin it. Reminds me a lot of Armin style, which I like.

Sounds good. Better after downloading and listening to in itunes. There must be some kind of normalizing that happens on this site to make everything very loud. I've been decreasing my tracks' volume before I post them because of it. Anyway, this track is awesome. I don't know if that is an electric guitar in there, but it just sounds so good.

Thanks Dubs, if I can call you that?!. Really appreciate your feedback. Even more when I am very partial to your music. Very clean sequencies with pads and strings and lovely chord progressions, especially your trance style tracks. Some sounds remind me of Chicane. Loudness is an interesting issue. It's hard to get good dynamic range without an external mixing desk and external recording. I am using Izotope 5 which so far is the most flexible mixing DAW plug in I've used. Thanks Again

on Jousten Aeit Bitt by Ziranmusic
I agree with the comment from BlackKasper...and I read your post that you used bit-crush effects on the master track. In my experience, that's not a good idea. It will make the whole track distorted and usually you don't want that.
By the way, if you ever want to collab on a track let me know. I think we all get partial ideas but sometimes get composer's block or something.
Ziranmusic
Ziranmusic replied 3rd Feb 2013 - 12 years ago
Yeah it's because I made the 8-bit track first then I randomly decided to add wobble basses and I was too lazy to redo everything:P And yeah I would love to collab anytime since I have a HUGE case of composer's block right now. However, all my DAWs (Fl 8,9, & 10, reason 6, and ableton live 8) are demo versions and I can't save projects, the only way to collab for me is sending MIDI files (which I have a lot of) of my melodies. I was working with a vocalist on youtube djradiowave but he decided to use one of my old songs instead of me making a new one so I'm not busy right now with music projects atleast. IDK if you still want to collab given all my flaws XP

Sounds pretty chilled. Nice elements in there to keep it interesting, like transition sweeps. I think it would work well with vocals of some kind.

Actually i wait for the vocal, a friend work on it, and as soon as it comes, download for free, this was just a test to see what people say about the track....
