Cool bass in this track. I agree that the vocal parts weren't so hot...but could be made more interesting with the right touch. But awesome melodies and beat.
I got the voice off a physics lecture on youtube, it is such a nice quote I wanted to use it, but because its ripped off youtube the quality isn't really there, also it was really dirty with some hiss, clicks and pops so I had to try and clean it up best I could.
/thanks for the feedback
Good sounding track, but I don't think the vocals match up, pitch-wise...more noticeably at the chorus sections. Or maybe it was done on purpose, I don't know. Hope you don't take it the wrong way. I'm just trying to give constructive criticism.
You might try changing either the pitch of your track or of the vocals. If it doesn't work, maybe try another acapella, if it just doesn't fit the track after all. I personally would like to hear the instrumental version of the track, since it sounds really good to me. Good luck with it.
Nice work, man. I love your melodies and synths. I'm downloading (I have a habit of checking the levels of people's songs in my DAW). Good job on this!
thanks and yeah feel free to download:) I used all my favorite VST's on this which are synth1, sylenth1, 3xosc, and p8. all the synths are self made except for the p8, its just a triangle:P
Just replying to your previous message, and thanks for your willingness to point me to learning game developing. Sounds like fun, but unfortunately I am already busy learning web development and design-related stuff. Maybe in the future. But I hope you are successful with your game in the meantime!
That's cool that you're into game developing. I wouldn't mind checking your game out, that is if you are uploading it somewhere. That reminds me of when I was slaving over RPG Maker pretty hardcore, back when I was fifteen or so. I loved doing that.
It maybe a little while until the demo is quite ready, there's a couple of tweaks I want to do before the Alpha Release is ready. So hopefully in January.
If you're interested in game development you might want to have a look at the Microsoft XNA Game Studio 4.0. The base language is C#. It is completely free and you can make games for PC and Xbox 360. (To test the games on an Xbox you will need to pay a subscription fee). The language is very powerful and gives you full access to all hardware on PC and Xbox. If you want know more I can also point you to loads of excellent tutorials online and you'll be making your first fight sim in no time.
It's a video game I've been developing by myself. I've always dreamed of making one, as I've been playing around with Music and Graphics for about 20 years it seemed to be a logical place to bring everything together.
The game that's in development is called Evon, and it's a Synesthesia Puzzle Game.
Nice track, but my opinion is that it has too much bass and it is muddy. You may want to roll that low end off somewhat on whatever bass sound that is so it sounds less muddy. But other than that, I like the track, the music is nice! It's kind of a chill out style.
now that you mention it i see what you mean. i feel it needs deeper bass but i literally made this in an hour and a half, and half of that was the two synths. thanks
After about 1 minute, the kick drum fades out. At about 2 minutes the kick drum comes back in. So that's what I was thinking. Before it starts again, back the sounds off, just so it's more dramatic coming back in. Just my opinion.
Nice plateau but I agree, the build-up is good, but would be better if the sounds backed off for a moment before your kick drum starts in. I'd try to use a little variation, but sounds good otherwise! Strong, driving tune.
