i think a deeper kick you boosting the bass would be good for this song, i also think its a bit short maybe make it a bit longer. the plucked sounds are good and its a great little motif and keeps you interested =]
this is actually very good for only know FL for about 1 week great stuff, i recommend you keep an eye out for some better kicks though. and some better drum samples. the ill give you pleasure sample is a bit too high for me i think the normal pitch with the warmer feel your work better,
Well... It wasn't hard to make...
What made this track sounds great...
is the bass I put at the first of the track.
If you listen closely you will hear a scratch... well... it's not a scratch.
It's a "writing" FX as if someone writing something on a piece of paper.
And then comes the build up. Where you hear the melody... this melody has its ethnic sounds, as if an Asian instrument...
Couple of pads, one of them is a choir called "aahh" you can find it in warbeats.com
And the other, is coumputer FX, but I slow it down and I altered the knobs a little.
And there it is... :) hope that was useful... :)
P.S: you may not hear this if you were listening on speakers,
but If you're playing it on your headphones you'll notice that I played
with the panning volume for the computer FX and some pads .
wow all your replys appear to me like 3x the length of the review, i feel i have to say alot now,,
anyway as i said im m last review great mixing again, you have to share your secrets great guitar playing =D i loved it, although this would be a very highly talented punk band if you were in it, lol
Haven't heard from you in a long time, but that is okay...there are so many good artist on here, no one can get to them all. Over 130,000 members and over a 100 joining each day...it seems!
Glad you liked this tune as far as this Punk one. Someone said here, punk bands don't play this well. Ha Ha. I don't know as I never played punk myself. To me, it was just a tune I wanted to try.
I can do several more I suppose, but it depends on my mood I guess.
This was made from one of the many loop disk I have.
Basically you put loops together like a puzzle and then adjust everything to make it soumd good.
I always try and buy 24 bit loops if I can as they are better quality and then bounce-to-disk back to 16 bit for CD's.
I do play guitar on many of the tunes I put up or bass, and put in drums...whatever I want in the tune.
Sorry about the long replies, but I like to explaining things so young musicians such as your self can hopefully learn something from me.
haha HELL YEAH!!!!!
that means alot man thank you very much.
Paul and I have some ideas cooked up on how to make this track even better. i'll let you know when it's up! you'll enjoy this. it had me smilin so hard i thought my teeth would fall out first time paul brought it to my attention. not givin any details tho! haha!
amazing synth! i loved it, great stuff man, a true hardstyle beat, just mabye get some panning going with drum beat, the clap seems to over ride the song a lil,, love it when it kicks in though =D
nice! i like the "bittersweet" harmony you have going i might whip something up with this but i think it works great on its own or a lead to another song =]
