First I thought, c'mon it's a disturbing mass of voices but after the 3rd or 4th listen it became a very progressive and interesting mix of genres and styles...I liked too much that piano part as well as Ed said, but all parts are connecting so logically and well together...must say it's a fabulous work...:-)
Great mood...scary and beautiful...I imagine this in an Indiana Jones 5? movie soundtrack...tension and progressivity all together that's what I always like your musicality...much respect...(and the mix is good enough, too...)
Uhmm epic stuff, I have something really epic to let you hear, hehe.
Anyway thanks again, I always enjoy your appreciation here on looperman, I hope that H. Fors and his stuff will like this track :) and all is good with your band.
Keep up the good work guys.
Ps. I did the mix with headphone, don't tell to anyone, lol!
That's pure brilliance...like every movement of this song from the rhythm section (specially the bass) through the brass section to the keys and of course BabyGee's fxsed voice...was a fabuolous idea that effect to the chorus...the whole song is more than professionalism I think this is a mixed funky jazzy rnb pop megahit...huge respect...
Stunning performance Steve...agree with you this guy is one of the most talented singer here...I'm not the biggest fan of the dance genre and I don't know it, neither but this song gotta special vibe and mood...it's just floating on and on...brilliant clear mix as usual...your musicality had given justice with this singer...respect and congrats...fabulous song...
Hi Danke..I choose Dance because I really don't know what I am doing when it comes to genre! I suppose it could be Electronic Rock? I never consider a genre when I listen to music other then "like" / "Don't like"! Glad you liked it. It was fun to get a track out with vocals to fill out a reasonable length song.
Cheers
Steve
This is bloody brilliant...unique piece of music here, not too much brass based song is at this side...for me it's outstanding...is that a connection with the Cherry Poppin Daddies song?
Must agree with Candelaria about the mix...I feel really sorry cause what we hear is a fabulous guitar work from a heartfelt musician, but you have to do stg with that mix...
I think that the keys are good idea but at the end too, for example...
All the best, Danke
I honestly don't see where the mix is wrong. Like I told Candelaria, I'm sorry I'm a teenage musician who isn't a record producer. so if the mix really is that bad, I apologize, and I'll take down..
Thank you for the feedback.. -Edward..
one more thing...I'm not good in genres and styles but there are many elements of cha cha cha in this song, which is the best part of this rock song...:-)
Dear friend, I really don't wanna disturb you but you made a mistake to sign this in rock genre...agree with Lady, you'd better search at this pages like Topvega, Staticnomad, MWRatridge, Tumbleweed, Frenki and so on, what music is called rock...good luck...:-)
Fantastic piece of AOR like Kansas, Journey, REO Speedwagon...the 'forgotten' style :-)
Your guitar play is amazing, you have true feelings in your instrument and I like that your style is not the Formula 1 race...you know, how many notes until one second?:-)
All the best, give us more like this
thank you danke!
yeah i am playing - it's multiple takes playing in parallel.
i also did some velocity adjustments afterwards because i tend to smash those plastic keys way too hard, even on logarithmic velocity mappings and especially when doing arpeggios. i regret that i didn't spend a little more for a proper keyboard with weighted keys. in retrospect it was stupid to think i would get used to it :)
cheers man!
Super song...special progressive track this time from you...I imagine female vocs with 'opera' attitude for this one...for me a bit short this theme to sing (not impossible), well...we'll see what's gonna happening...:-)
Hi,
thanks for your comment.
In fact I am looking for female vocals but its hard to find :)
Your ideia its great and I am working on that.

Paulo
Wonderful, fabulous piece of musical art Steve...agree with Ed, you are the MASTER of chill out with your unique 'only you made like this' style...here is no place for critisism, everybody must like this...:-)
I am so happy to see you and Ed supporting me and commenting good things on my tracks, I have been blessed as since being on here i have met some fantastic people its a shame most of you are so far away as it would be so cool to meet up.
The good old PP new one :-) as I told you before too many times, your musical world is too close to me and that's why I definetely love every attempt from you...
Hahh...what a track...Tool like...super groovy, super instrument using...awesome song...there is a guy called Evisma in this site, pushes same music like this...
Köszönöm Melon nevében is. :) Ő kimondottan élő énekes, szerencsére nem kellett belepiszkálni a hangjába. Örülök,hogy elnyerte a tetszésed a "nóta". Üdvözlettel SH@M3N
Super track...reminds me a bit of Guns'n'roses acoustic LP...the singer got pro voice and the whole song gotta vibration and calls you to sit down and enjoy this ride with the band...live play, must be 10/10...
