Nice song, good flow.
Sorry for my personal opinion: I think it could be much better. I feel like the chase for loudness has degraded the overall sound.
I understand although this not an official version. It was a quick mix completed in less than 30 minutes after I stumbled upon the vocal here and remembered I had a backing track that might suit it. Naturally, if the track were to be developed further, I agree with you that it could be improved. Thank you for listening and providing feedback.
Hi Rita, I did not do much, just tweak a little bit.
The extra voices is you, I took 4 copies of your vocal for the chorus parts.
Each copy received some treatment to have slightly different timbre and timings like it was sang by someone else.
==TECHNICAL=START=
Reaper has stretch markers to compress/stretch parts of an audio item. So I stretched/compressed each copy on multiple points in the audio a little bit to have slightly different timings for each voice, then pitched up 1 octave and corrected the formant (avoid mickey mouse voice) so each voice sounds a little bit different, and different to your original)
==TECHNICAL=END=
Normally you would have a real choir. But you can simulate that yourself by singing multiple extra takes for the chorus ("choir") like you do for the background voice, now just more takes (separate recordings/audio files), and in this case preferably 1 octave higher to eliminate the need to pitch.
==TECHNICAL=START=
Put each "choir" take in a separate track in your DAW, match all roughly to your you main vocal so they sound like a "choir", then spread the voices by changing the PAN for each "choir" voice, you get width in the sound. If possible group them or send the output to a bus, put some reverb on the "choir" and take the "choir" volume down, the main vocal should virtually stand in front of the audience, the "choir" in the back accompanying the main vocalist, adjust to your taste.
==TECHNICAL=END=
The guitar part was a VST (NI Kontakt, lib Kontakt, Rock Guitar) with an automation on volume to fade the guitar sound in and out.
As mentioned before, I loved your original track and just had to "play" with it :-)
Dankje Frans.
I like the result even in the (still?) unfinished state.
I did some Silver Bella / Ashes and Dreams mixes myself, didn't hear this one before :-) I'm to busy creating :-(
I like it, lots of variations but can't specify like the musicians among us.
Now sorry for my comment: I listened with studio speakers and audio headset and heard something strange. From 00:23 to 01:24 I experienced a distortion. So I took the studio headset and heard a sub bass. After running the sound through an EQ I found a 20-35 Hz frequency that is considerably louder than the rest.
Again sorry if this was intentional and my equipment is simply not up to par :-)
You were not wrong. There was a distorted Sub bass. Leftover Lasagne's Push Tech was the culprit. I used The Eighties Monster Kick Prest which pushed it over the edge. Also I usually listen on Multiple audio units (headphones and speakers) I did not do that. (Lazy, lazy, Lazy.) So I remastered it. Good ears mate and I appreciate you fo that.
Good job, I like the track, personally love the base and vocals.
I can imagine the task at hand to get a result like this, I wasn't able to create something comparable yet.
I can't give suggestions, it's out of my knowledge area, the only thing I can say is that I love it. It's like recalling memories of a Star Wars battle while enjoying a concert. Well done.
Great piece, loved the intro, some parts reminded me of the Pink Floyd song "Several Species Of Small Furry Animals" from the Ummagumma album. Then the beautiful musical loop. Well done, faved it.
Did you compose the description or did you seek help in the NET?
My (I'm a Dutchy) thought was: What is he writing about?
I started my description journey just like Crewellas life in 101 dalmatians some days taking other people's work claiming them as my own
as backwards individual I chose to identify as a copy machine and spam that "it" factor
Might even manifest rocket science like ya boi George
Looking good dazzling it as well
Anyways now that choice is the only thing standing between them and me lol I can look forward to adopting a highway
what Looperman is all about for me is at the top of my tongue but nothing short of exceptional
Thanks for the interview

Nice, I didn't play much games back then, was programming in those days, but I still remember the tunes of games my son played. 00:14 (3 notes) reminded me of Lipps Inc. - Funky Town. And yes, I'm also missing the end :-)
Well done

But I'm missing the end! It's so abrupt that it sounds clipped.
