Banger track, well done all of you.
I was busy tingling on this acapella for a while, seen some light yesterday, almost done :)

Great song, banger, beautiful vocals, well done.
But this also reminds me of back in the day on the dance floor at the club. Sometimes you need a metronome in your head or just stop dancing for a moment :(

on Late for the Train by ShortBusMusic
My opinion may be flawed, but it's still something to think about.
Everyone's talking about the impact on musicians and music, but what about the most likely illegal use of copyrighted material? Music companies with big money for lawyers, successful musicians with big money for lawyers, can get money/license fees for their material being illegally used to train AI models, but what about the hundreds of thousands, or is it millions, of unsigned music creators whose creations are being used? I checked some AI resources (academic use) and came across Jamendo collection (Dataset is made available solely for non-commercial research and academic use) but you could download and use it, it's just 508 GB ;), tools for ripping audio (wav) from YouTube based on genre. In my opinion, AI is probably based on theft. Why theft? Have you all, and all other music creators around the world, given these AI training material collectors permission to rip your/their songs and/or acapellas for free for commercial use by AI? If not, then it's illegal commercial use of copyrighted material, right?
Most likely I'm stupid...

I know there is a lot of discussion on the legality of this and I also tried an experiment on this tune. I put it up on YouTube and they said the song was clean, no copyright issues. I also used Shazam and a few others to check to see if any other songs sounded like it, and they could not find any. Now, does that prove there isn't any theft involved, not really, but I'm not sure that the random nature of what they do minimizes the risk to real artists and real songs, and keeps things from getting out of hand. I've had a couple of my loops used by some pretty high profile rappers, with no recognition, and while I put them up here for folks to use, I think it is disingenuous of them to pretend my work was their own (on one song, Billboard magazine loved the guitar riff, and the producer of the record took full credit for it). Personally, I think modern day musicians have little to no problem stealing from others (the 30 second rule). I hear current songs that literally rip off other tunes and give no recognition where they stole the idea from. I have no answer or solution to any of this, I just thought it was interesting that AI could write lyrics, and music and put together a pretty decent tune with just a little bit of coaching. As always I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and weigh in on this. I hope all is well.

on Hearts of Steel by NoHideAnymore
I love the flow of the pulsating synth with the bass and drums topped with the vocal and vox, banger :) This reminds me not to drown my tracks with lead synths.

Oops, a misunderstanding, nothing wrong with your track, I just tried to pinpoint the differences between before and after your update, as my hearing isn't perfect I used my DAW (Reaper) to detect the changes and wrote them down, a nasty habit from me, getting technical.
But again, loving your track.

Hey Brother,,, no misunderstanding and cherish input. You pointed out things forcing me to re-visit and made those improvements in time. Fresh ears listening helps find things over-sought from being humans with flaws,, lol...
Version 3 is up,, have one area maybe in question regarding vocal time?.
Thanks, SJ

Checked in in Reaper as my ears aren't good enough, my findings:
.
Changes:
1) Little bit in the mastering.
2) De-essing.
3) 0:55 - 1:05 vocal timing and streched?
4) 2:08 - 2:40 vocal timing.
.
How I discovered basics:
1) Pull the downloaded files version 1 and 2 into DAW (Reaper).
2) Align both using peaks in the wave form.
3) Covert both files to mono.
4) Pan both hard (1st mono on Left,2nd mono on Right).
5) Listen using headphone to prevent reflections.
.
Details:
1) The little changes in mastering can be seen in the difference of the wave form.
2) De-essing can be seen in the difference of the wave form, i.e. 0:26 the word "changing" produces a spike in v1 but not in v2.
3) Vocal timing can be heard as the vocal sounds more stereo due to the time shift and slowly becomes an echo due to the stretch.
4) Vocal timing can be heard as the vocal sounds more stereo due to the time shift.
.
Most likely I missed more :)

Great job

Thanks frenZ, Appreciate the input and suggestions and hear you.
If track ever comes to be, worry about it then. some anonymizes are from running a phaser on rendered down two track to give more life. Her voice is strange and difficult to work, you'd think cutting out low registers would help but nope. lol,, I know you know it takes me a few times to time vox correctly cause i go loco form the over and over.... BTW: not mastered.... Trust your ears and less the analysis especially when real instruments. My Best....

Great track Kay & Oli, well done. I had a "Bierkeller/Oktoberfest" feeling with a different feeling for the vocal, but I can't put my finger on it.
