You have a great voice Amber! Cinderella is my favorite tale. Nice twist. I would love to add vocals to my songs. What type of mic are you using? (And is it affordable?) Also, if you want to check out another great female singer here, check out fiery. I got a lot of inspiration from her music.
I figured I'd check out all of your tracks and I've liked every one. Great use of the orchestra strike. Great style. I'm looking forward to hearing more.
Thanks Peppermint :) Hopefully it's not too creepy lolol. It's supposed to be for a comedy! lol! I love the bass, too. It reminds me of the old bass wars in the late 80's, early 90's when ppl started having the real booming stereo systems. That's kind of what I was going for, anyway, as part of the comedy. Glad you liked it and thanks for the review!
Thx, and sorry for late reply... been busy getting my own spot ready to go... check us out and let me know what you think www.loopkitchen.com for fresh new sounds. should be up over next few days...
Peace!
Music is a cure-all for all things I say. I'm glad the mad crazy person that kept you from making awesome music like this is out of the picture. It's horrible how some people can sap our creative talents. I love the lyrics. I can identify easily. I'll have to fav this one.
Though I'm new to this realm, I've been making music for nearly 15 years now and 'genre' has always been a problem for me. Under the fuzzy definitions I see here, I'm beginning to thing my stuff (all of it) belongs in Ambient. It's weird but pretty groovy, hip wiggling music. Maybe it's Top 40 Pop!
Hi peppermint, and thank you very much for the review. The drums aren't the best on this track, I agree. But I will try to do it better on my next track :)
And I truly agree - this genre is awesome. When you manage to do it right that is. Have a nice day mate :)
You had me at the first note. I love songs that aren't cookie cutter and are different from anything I've ever heard befor. Congrats on stepping out of your comfort zone. If this is the result I say you should do it more often.
Thanks peppermint, appreciate it. Well, you know what, this track right here just broke me out of that comfort zone. This s**t was so much fun and to hear the final product when I was done, I was like 'Wow, I f-ing did this, no s**t.' Thanks for listening.
Your song had a very progressive spooky vibe. It reminds me of wondering down a dark hall. At any moment something scary will jump out at you. Good job.

I'm using a relatively common standing computer mic. I got it at Best Buy for like, $20 I think. It was extremely similar to this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=5431927&st=microphones&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1055388008858
