i would work on the volume a bit. if your clipping when working this on your program try using a compressor on your different instruments. try different ratios and levels and you will be able to get it to an awesome level. on a scale from one to 10 i would say 8. only because of the level you have the volume. but the beat is wicked. try throwing in another lil breakdown cause the high pitch synth gets a little too much. add a wicked lowpass bass or equivalent.
i love how you increased the release in the beginning to just shut it down and have it return to clean. this is fat. then the arpegg synth kicks in.. frickin awesome!
man, i have never heard it put so elequintly. Awesome track. i feel ya on the visions. i have been having a few myself. just sucks they contain anger.. awesome work on this. lve it.
ya need to pound it in there. it starts to elevate and then...down again. like when you hear that effect rise up..put a reverse synth there with it. the an amazing crash with some deeper kick to accent. also along with that to add more presence ad an additional snare to the one you have. that will give you an idea hipe up for the "breakdown:..haha
this is a good listen. i like what ya did with this track. it seems some of the parts of the song get a lil distorted. alot of the times when your using effects it can alter (as in decrease or increase) your volume levels. if ya wanna get around this go to the track that seems to start clipping, right click on the track. go to insert/remove envelope. another little thing will pop up. click on volume and a purple line will come up. now you can double click on the line in several places to lower the volume where it increases due to the added effects. sorry to make it so long.
Thanks for the tip. I've noticed that distortion problem in a few places, but wasn't too sure about how to go about fixing it. I'll certainly give that a go.
im thinkin your feeling pressured? i like the piano though. pretty sah-weet. then that synth comes in. it was like a crazy drum&bass that turned trance and back to electro to..man...an ass load of change ups dude.. pretty sick
this is craziness. i like the explosive beggining. but to me one of the instruments sounds a little off. but it falls in to place as it progresses. at first i was like...Ehh..then as i listened on and gave it a chance it turned AWESOME!!!
You know i have no problem with people using my loops. love the song. i agree with everyone on this. bass is wicked .good job. and the flange/phase is a good addition.
i was thinkin all that too! haha. kinda took the words out my mouth. shorten the intro and when just the drums come in lengthen that BUT!, try a different instument and use the same meledy as an accent with lower volume(like a japan pluck type sound but not too loud)then youll be off to finishing it up if you put it in a 2 verses intro outro chorus type sequence.
