LOL

great concept and result, lighthearted, i'm behind you 100% on this use of samples as a base to jump of from, well done..on blind listen i would have guessed it was spivcurl, which is a high complement

hey hutch- i hope you know my lolz were with, not at! the soring just craked me up, respek - dbl

still on the curve of learn Mr Beatl this one has the most work I've done in it, but after listening to it again the EQ scalpel needs to carve out some mud. But I didn't know how to do that then a couple of months ago. Glad it made you LOL and I still need to check out spivcurl so many artists here LOL I don't get many compliments these days I'll take it dude

on My heart sings by DerrickSarp
very nice...very well arranged, i can tell you really know how to put a track together, the instrumentation and production quality are very good...i guess i only wish you made it more...you, somehow? i get to the end feeling there was not much that felt very...personal, for lack of a better word, something to make it yours only , y'know? anyway..i blather on, this is very very good -dbl-

on Rhapsodies (Sorrows) by BrokenScythe
wow, no doubt massive progression, overall quality..dont norrmally like the pitched up vox but here it works sooo dam well, and the eq transitions...only thing, is the two piano parts are so similar pitchwise they get muddy imo you could drop the rhythmic one an octave or something harmonizing with the melody, just what i'm hearing...could stand as an instrumental too, no vox needed methinks...i'll keep working my way down your stack, easynow...

on Not This Time by RebelThoughts
sounds great except for the vocal treatment...thru my set its coming in distorted, too phat.. could use a touch of eq, reverb and compression, in that order...otherwise, kickass cut yo, feelin it. delivery confident, good lyric, yeh, keep em comin silver...-dbl-

on different riddim by MRCoOk
nice! very dubby beat, the vox sample adds to that...maybe that one main melody sound in a bit to 'nice' sounding? kinda video gamey...forgeting grime this is a rad beat, but if you nasty up that sound itll be grimier, imo...i dig it -dbl-

________________________________________________
re: well probably only you can answer that...the beat and that synth sounds kinda rnb to me...but, sometthing unexected..nasty, idk...maybe hint at hat drop at 2:30 a bit sooner, you pretty much lost me before that...just one persons taste though, you do how you do, easynow...dbl
MightyBender
MightyBender replied Unknown
What is it that you feel to be missing?

-Ah. Hm... I'll have to listen at that spot and take it in. Thank you for the thoughts, I always like it when people give honest opinions. As far as the beat and synth, the sub-genre of this track is Chillstep, which allows for a pretty wide range of bpm and cinematics. I was actually going for that deeper feel, which I suppose could be construed as an r&b-ish type of sound. Thanks again for your review. You can rest assured I will do how I do, and go easy too. You do the same, and stay real bro.
