Hello BoBo
Thank you for listening and commenting on my track. It is a pleasure to know you liked it . Of course it is not a typical blues song, I' d call it bluesy. I just didn't feel like it was weird.
My regards, Anthony
You got your voice sounding great on this one, really complements the music. We had a fantastic aurora a week or so ago, spent a lot of time gazing up with my mouth open, waiting for the Starman to appear.
great to see you about lads, thanks for your time and compliments, i'd love to see something like that your extremely lucky, if its clear we might get a tiny glimpse of aurora borealis here in the UK, certain times not the full effect, i love the solar system, check the vid i done with it you'll see the real starman lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgWNYLamfl4
Nice chill track. Your vox sound good to me and I don't hear anything wrong with the mix and master, though I'm definitely not an expert in that department. I'd suggest introducing some more instruments or other variation to break it up a little. That would really elevate it I think.
You have made some excellent music here, I like a lot of these tracks. I also like the humour in your titles, it's not often you see foraminifera in a title, those beautiful little creatures! Or catkins. Happy birthday!
Your own field recording to start? I like to do that. Beautiful track, delicate and gentle. When the bass and drums came in I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. But you left me hanging...
Great lyrics, great fun. Well done mate. To me, your main vox are still coming a little too much out of the right side, mainly in the first third of the track. Enjoyed my listens though, good stuff. Bobo.
Coulda been the theme music for Beverly Hills Cop or something! Great little trippy snippet. That bass goes to the soles of my feet, it's insane in my head phones. I'd like to hear more...Bobo.
jesus now you just reinfected me with that faltermier genius shit song. after lotsa noodling i thought the bass sat pretty nicely, glad it reached your soles.
Cloudbusting like in some respects - but oh to be referencing that - and further it but really stands on its own - deep rich sounds take us on beautiful journey, mix is superb, vox sublime - Fantastic collaboration, great track.
Yes. Quite right. Only in some respects. Basically, the first section (after the cathedral choir thing).
Deep rich sounds were, in varying degrees and in different parts of the track, a combination of synth bass, acoustic bass, brass, and vocals.
But, the challenge was getting a rich sound throughout because so much middle high and high frequency material was competing for space in the mix. That was the challenge that Wytse finally solved, when I could not.
Thanks for the positive comment on the track. Very nice to hear that you liked it.
Regards, from Ottawa where it was -18 celsius this morning. I'm sure it was much, much better in Hawaii! :)
