Yes, a goal on this one was a really good intro and build up. Some of the synth loops were my own, some were taken from GB. Am currently working on a new track with BabyGee - also great female vocals. This one is sounding like a fusion of Air and The Cure.
I'll stay tuned for more of your stuff! Cheers! xo
groovin style, dig the upward melody line. has a sort of Santana feel to it. Love the spaced out section when it breaksdown. Has an 80s feel for sure lol.. I hear like Sting in there too I think..
I can tell a few of your influences, neat. I love that when I didn't know I was specifically influenced by a band then realize after I listen to a song I wrote and go,.. coool !
Tahnks for listening and commenting. It's true about influences - "what's in the roots" and all that. Although I like his post Police stuff, (and the Ploice stuff for that matter)I didn't realize my music sounded anything like his. It's quite possible that I share some of the influences that make his music sound the way it does.
hah, awesome.. instead of being pssd he makes a cool tune, we can all learn from ya brother. Pterry cool track, keeps moving forward and damn.. I dig when you hold us with the bassline for a sec at the end of the bar.. nice.
Dammmmnn.. this is hit material and sooooo imaginative. Howlin out like there's no tomorrow man.. nv-ous of your skill, should help inspire many !
and those lyrics are genius poet like the Mick side would come up with.. from inside... thanks for posting this man, you have done the world a great service believe it or not
Yea, when all these lyrics fell out of my mouth, it was completely without forethought, and it felt like i was possessed by Zack de la Rocha and Marshall Mathers spawn. lol
Thisong is very eery & melodic. It draws you in.. and that vocal sample is very awesome and intelligent, it's not negative, it's evolution yeeeaaaah ! awesome track mate !
Brian - awesome mate, thanks for commenting. Hate to say it but I've been in another planetsphere for years now and am not really sure who DoTN are, which elemnts reminded you of them btw ?
AD - can't f-in wait til we get the song tidy'd up man, this is VERY cool, but since we got some lyrics fleshed out and I got ideas for slight structure derangements, the next version will kill !
Thsi is F-ING wonderfull... I'm awed ! I do acoustic as well, hope you dig... awesome ! awesome ! aw yeahhh.. that slow-step thning just tied the know... lovely ahhhhs..., you're ahhhh'd too I see... lol... thanks !
awesome, love the drum loops seriously, very creative and added dementia.. i mean dimension. Nice guitar work, esp dig how it intermingles with the vocals..
hey, so i tried using a pitchshifter with my electric and shiftered down 12 or 24.. like 2 octaves prolly and it gave the bass i needed for that song in perfect time with the guitar.. hah, soo cool... and fun... if you're interested, it's called garnish.. I'm actually posting it tonight ; )
first off, from your profile: "PRagha Khan - Injected with the poisen (their gonna play that at my funeral " hahaha, what's that mean ? suicide ? kidding of course mate..
on a side note, Scotiabank called and offered me Accidental Death Insurance.. I'm like, dude.. it's not gonna be no accident, I got it all planned out.. stutter gulp stutter, hahah..
So the song: Great - this is damn catchy, love the guitar work mate, that's you I presume. niiice track,
damn dude.... just damn... horny for this track.. please do a ND/AD/etc acoustic album quick before your styles change tooo much, it's and endless cycle, trust me.. still good, but gotta get that sht out there pleeease.. just drop 8 tracks for us and stick em on bandcamp for $ $seriously
wow - just wow... so if this is true lyrically, it's excellent to express it, but it's also the singer singing to himself, hope he learns from whoever is really singing here.. and a great guide for others to avoid similar situations, if they so choose. great expression !
