on Black Sheep by Flat2Forge

Fabulous use of synth - slightly eerie with that light, wispy female vox - a good theme for a nightmare - well-composed and good sound balance

Flat2Forge replied 2nd Dec 2025 - 10 months ago

I wanted to express the nightmare of shopping on Black Friday, but due to a misunderstanding it turned into the nightmare of dealing with a Black Sheep, hahaha.

on Origin by ValveDriver

Wonderful, cinematic - takers you on a journey thru Icelandic terrain - has a v spiritual feel to it. This puts me in mind of some of the World music produced by Carolyn Hilliyer and Nigel Shaw, who make World Music - https://www.seventhwavemusic.co.uk/product/house-of-the-weavers/

ValveDriver replied 30th Nov 2025 - 10 months ago

Having never been to Iceland, I can't accurately agree with you. But being someone with a very active and vivid imagination, I can totally understand why you would pick up on that. I find it interesting that you said it has a very spiritual feel to it. It pleases me to know that my creation touched someone on that level. I will go check out Carolyn Hilliyer now. Thank you for the link!
Take care.

Love this Frenz - to me it had a bit of a Scandinavian vibe - really different and gets ur energy pumping - surely one of your Best

TheFrenZ replied 26th Nov 2025 - 10 months ago

Hi Kay, Scandinavian video. I know a lot of dance artists went to Swedish studios for a while, but I'm not one of them. I tinker at home in a minimal studio setup, but not in the bedroom, haha. Glad you like it and I hope to make even better ones in the future :)
