Loved the chilled vibe and the rich deep sounds of the keys.
It's great as an instrumental but I could definitely imagine someone laying some vocals down too.
A nice and mellow listen for me on a sunny day in the UK.

Ha this is an amazing track...the lyrics are actually being recited by califken...but I wrote the poem/lyrics.
I will let Ken know you used his version of my poem...you rocked it dude so I'm sure he will like it..sorry it's taken me so long to find it.

This is probably one of the best collabs I have heard on this site...no disrespect intended to previous collaborators, but for me absolutely everything has fallen into place...I'm a little bit stunned, but in a good way of course. Congratulations to you four amazing talents.

Hi Elaine...I've been wanting to produce a full on composition with these guys for quite awhile..so I knew it would fall into place eventually..we've all collaborated before but never all at once,the focus really clicked so to speak...thank you for the great review..Dave,Detlef,Steve and Bill(sounds like that wacky 60's Band!) :)

Ah taking a deep breath right now as I listen. I don't think there is anything wrong in having a lot of synths especially if you use ones that have a kind of ethereal or dreamy quality about them...Maybe you should do some spoken word for this...but anyway...I like it. :)

I really like the energy that you had in the intro...and I'm glad you brought that back in again...I think I would describe this more as rock than metal, but only because of the years of listening to the kind of music my husband likes.

Ha did you upload this today because it's saying it was uploaded in March and I can't decide where the error lies...?

I'm not sure about all the various transitions, I mean in themselves there is nothing wrong with them, but they don't really seem to flow smoothly.

That's not a criticism per se, just how my ears perceive it.
Anyway all the best in the competition.

I would have liked to heard a slower intro because the track seemed to start really quickly and took me by surprise a little.

The idea of you making music with a gun to your head is an interesting visual lol. Thankfully it didn't put you off your stride.
I like the subby sounding bass...I'm definitely picking up a dub vibe more so than the reggae you referred to...still it's all good.

I like this....it definitely has a dark and slightly sinister vibe about it. Just needs a rapper I reckon.

Thank you, I agree with it having overcrowding issues in places as my methods were not the most brilliant for the creation of this. After getting the beat built I live mixed every sound layer on top of one another.Appreciate the input tremendously!

Hi Elaine, so you are the girl with the beautiful voice. I had the girls in the video mime the " I want you" I will put a new link for the video shortly. The video was on youtube and somebody complained but I got about 5,000 hits in 5 months. Hope to hear some more of your work, do you sing?

Last week I had to turn off a TV programme about Armageddon...I mean life is depressing enough at times right?

I'm thinking that maybe your levels might need adjusting slightly because I had to turn down the volume and even then the bass was kicking the hell out of my speakers...It's kind of a different take on DnB for me, but there is definitely potential here.

It's half hilarious half tragic really; people seem to be ok with the end of the world as we know it as long as they can rsvp:).

The bass was supposed to be obnoxiously loud, although the saw I used will be replaced, when I can put together a decent sound.

I take my hat off to you for dropping some dubstep on this site before it became the "in" thing. Not a bad track at all.
I guess there is some truth in the comments about it being slightly loud, but in the right setting that wouldn't be a problem.

I agree that this is a laid back and relaxing song to listen to. I think the strumming probably encourages that feel.
I just realised that your vocals remind me a little bit of Cyndi Lauper...I hope you find that comparison complimentary? Sometimes saying "oh you remind me of" has brought bad results including some guy deleting the review I left him lol.

Anyway, very nice really enjoyed listening.
