on Quick Fix by djmanic
I could imagine this playing in a movie or as the opening credits to a TV prog...great vibe. I really liked it from the moment I pressed play.
I should have the vocals that you wanted sorted tomorrow...

Why do I get the feeling when I listen to your music that if ever we met up there would be a fight to the death as to who is the bigger Disco Diva lol.

Awesome track Ken...downloading to put on my mp3 for when I go running.

on Genocide ft Mezziah and Lokoton - My Whip(2008) by MaxJC
Good to hear people keeping it real with the music and the lyrics.
Are you getting airplay with your tracks?

There's a guy on mixposure.com who has a radio show with his brother...I can find the link if you want.

Great production on this.

on I Want To Live Forever lmllyeremixv32 by alividlife
Any track that has Telefon Tel Aviv and Eric Satie influences to name a couple has got to be cool. Of course I am biased, but even so I really dig this track dude...I think you really manage to capture that chilled dubstep vibe...oh and that's a yes to answer your question..THIS IS DUBSTEP.

on Lead The Way feat Elaine Sharp by vladoro
Greetings,
I left a review on Soundcloud but thought I would leave a few words here as well. First of all thank you for using my vocals.

I really like the instrumental you have made to go with them.
I think there is a big trance influence, but I can also understand why you have chosen deep house as well...Anyway, I enjoyed your work and once again thanks.

Awesome Alen...a really well constructed track I love those "heys" they fit in really well and haven't been over done which can sometimes happen.
It's 03.06 where I am but I feel like I'm in a club and raring to go hehe. Great beat and rhythm. Digging big time :)

on Beautiful Number (for collab) by DonnieVyros
Ok so I read your description and immediately had my question answered. I thought you had this uploaded before but couldn't understand why the dates didn't seem to add up. I also can't understand why you don't have more reviews for this track...shame on them I say....whoever "them" are.

I'm glad you're still carrying the electronic baton. I remember in the early days of tracks being uploaded there was a lot more electronic stuff but it seems to have waned in favour of other genres or perhaps just been mis-labeled.

Anyways cool track...I could certainly imagine this as a movie soundtrack or perhaps in a video game.

Yeah, that happens sometimes. With me I think its coz I'm more of a back-burner artist (keeping a low profile, not pimping/promoting my tracks as much, etc.). Its cool, I figure I'll get 'em (plays/revs) when I get 'em, no rush, ya know?
As for the other thing, EDM is my arena (my first home), don't really wanna stray away from it too much. I'll play around with other stuff every once in a while, but I always end up comin back to my core. Anyways, glad ya dug the track. Later on!

on Looking Back by BrokenScythe
Loved the chilled vibe and the rich deep sounds of the keys.
It's great as an instrumental but I could definitely imagine someone laying some vocals down too.
A nice and mellow listen for me on a sunny day in the UK.

Ha this is an amazing track...the lyrics are actually being recited by califken...but I wrote the poem/lyrics.
I will let Ken know you used his version of my poem...you rocked it dude so I'm sure he will like it..sorry it's taken me so long to find it.

This is probably one of the best collabs I have heard on this site...no disrespect intended to previous collaborators, but for me absolutely everything has fallen into place...I'm a little bit stunned, but in a good way of course. Congratulations to you four amazing talents.

Hi Elaine...I've been wanting to produce a full on composition with these guys for quite awhile..so I knew it would fall into place eventually..we've all collaborated before but never all at once, the focus really clicked so to speak...thank you for the great review..Dave,Detlef,Steve and Bill(sounds like that wacky 60's Band!) :)

on Peace Of Mind by Music4Life
Ah taking a deep breath right now as I listen. I don't think there is anything wrong in having a lot of synths especially if you use ones that have a kind of ethereal or dreamy quality about them...Maybe you should do some spoken word for this...but anyway...I like it. :)

Thank you for the reply. It kind of has a dream feel to it. As for the Spoken Words part, I don't like my voice; but I will think about it.

Thanx and Yeah I rap...But I don't have a good mic to record.

But this one wouldn't be nice with rapping on it because the piano will be taking over the vocals and the beat is too fast.

Your message was hidden in my spam folder unfortunately so I've only just seen it.

I have to say that I like this...I think I've used my vocals really well...perhaps Zee has downloaded some of my older recordings which weren't as sharp (no pun intended)

If you can send me a copy of this that would be cool. Thanks for using my vocals.

I really like the energy that you had in the intro...and I'm glad you brought that back in again...I think I would describe this more as rock than metal, but only because of the years of listening to the kind of music my husband likes.
Very nice!

Thanks Elaine. I was debating about it being more rock than metal. Tried to blend it a little.

on Seba - Painted Sky(ETsuave REMIX) by ETsuave
Ha did you upload this today because it's saying it was uploaded in March and I can't decide where the error lies...?

I'm not sure about all the various transitions, I mean in themselves there is nothing wrong with them, but they don't really seem to flow smoothly.

That's not a criticism per se, just how my ears perceive it.
Anyway all the best in the competition.

Did I hear this track when you made it? I just searched my tracks and couldn't find it in the collection, although I see you don't have it for download. I would really like a copy if possible.

This is such a well constructed piece, not a thing out of place.
Thanks for using my vocals :)

The idea of you making music with a gun to your head is an interesting visual lol. Thankfully it didn't put you off your stride.
I like the subby sounding bass...I'm definitely picking up a dub vibe more so than the reggae you referred to...still it's all good.

I'm glad you are still here Elaine. Looperman would not be the same without you. As soon as the track is finished I will gladly send you a copy. My music creation goes a bit slower since I moved and now I have to be a lot more quiet.
