I must admit I was thinking about you the other day then turned on the television and was greeted by "Fiddle-dee-dee..War,war,war all this talk of war is boring..etc" (Scarlett talking to the Tarelton twins in the opening scene from GWTW)....and that made me do a double take....thanks for the listen
I can do no more than agree with all the positive feedback that you've received for this song. I really enjoy acoustic tracks and this one really appeals to my ear.
ELAINE! Great to see you on the loop! Yep I really enjoy the breezy, slow and mellow feeling I get when I listen to Chase, so yea it happened! Thanks for stopping by!
The volume sounds perfectly fine to me...how do you mix your tracks, do you use monitors/speakers or do you use headphones?
I just turned up the volume on my speakers and this track sounds just about right...not bursting my eardrums you know...so for me the levels are not an issue.
A great energetic track...digging the piano which is among my favourite instruments.
What a fantastic track...chilled definitely, but also with a little bit of attitude on the side.
Nice synth work...I love that dreamy sound. The drums are cool too.
Thanks Elaine. So nice to receive such kind words after investing so much effort. I find much encouragement here on Looperman. Thanks for including me in the Facebook group as well. I am inspired. RG
I think Vicen said quite a lot of what I would like to say about this track...I would add that it's a nice montage of sounds that work pretty well together. I really appreciate the upbeat vibe that flows throughout which I think is characterized best by the piano with the rock guitar acting as a nice counterpoint.
I like doing beats that's either fast or in the mid range. One of my favorite instruments to use is the piano, I feel my tracks will be a little bit better with them. On the counterpoint, I can hear that. Thanks again for the reply.
Yep I'm so glad that I have decided to return to Looperman. Tracks like these definitely make it all worthwhile.
The ambiance you have created works really well.
And Wow I just got the biggest chill haha...so that means you're definitely doing something right.
You've got a really good ear Ste...I absolutely love the whole atmosphere of this piece. Excellent arrangement that has led to a flawless fusing of the various genres.
A sophisticated track that I could imagine appearing at the opening credits in a film because it has that vibe.
Well done a definite fave :)
Really glad you enjoyed it, this was just fun, to put it in one word. So many different elements from so many different genres.. I'm gonna have to try this again, its awesome.
Yep I really enjoyed hearing this ballad. I particularly like the pace of the song, which I thinks help you to give the right amount of expression to the lyrics.
Not hard to hear why you have had so much good feedback for this track. Great arrangement first and foremost, but then also your mix and mastering is spot on too.
Ahahahaha thanks Eshar!
I spent tha greater part of a week
working on this but I think it came out
nicely ;) really happy you enjoyed!
I'll see ya soon on AJs show ;)
This is perfect listening for me at this time of night (UK)...I really like how it's on the verge of dirty but kind of holds back...and that's not a criticism at all because it's dirty enough.
Certainly I am not a dubstep aficionado, but my ears know what they like and they like the sound of this track.
Arghhh I am so tired right now...which is a pain cos I am enjoying listening and reviewing again...I guess I am just a review addict lol.
Ummm...so I finally managed to download the stems for 'I would catch her' but probably won't be able to do anything with them until I get back tomorrow.
I like this a lot dude...and would definitely like to do something with it...even if it's only giving it an ending lol.
Yes as already said in a previous review, I'm a bass freak, but I love drums too, because for me they are the heartbeat of a track.
I like all-drum tracks though, and to make a really good one takes skill and you've got it.
If I recall correctly you introduced me to glitch, and I really enjoy it now.
I'm really liking this track dude (thumbs up) and will play it again louder when I get back from my run.
I'm sending you a pic...check it when you can.
It's not such a stupid title. When the track first starts it definitely has a prehistoric sound about it, if that makes sense.
I hear you on the jazzy definitely. I really like the bass but it's buried too deeply. I am a bass freak and would definitely like it to be much more prominent.
Your drums are awesome of course but they dominate the track too much in my opinion.
So you will notice that I haven't played the track on here...because I can't...I'm not even supposed to be checking the site lol.
Anyway...I like it, there's room for potential.
Gah...I'm not back so don't think that, but I guess this is the only way I can contact you as you didn't reply to my email.

Sounds like it to me anyway.
I hear some operatic singing in there somewhere...a shame we can't sample because for some reason Madam Butterfly just came to mind.
Nothing is out of place to my ear...although at the outro I would like to hear one long cymbal hit...err I hope you know what I mean...?

I love the slow build and the intense atmosphere you've created.

I think Bruce would be pretty impressed with what you've done and from watching a recent documentary about the man I know that he is a perfectionist.
I really enjoyed listening. All the best.

A powerful piece that is a little scary with the whispering lol.
I enjoyed it nevertheless. Well done...great DnB.

Oh yeah, Nuada's review made me think about maybe adding my phoenix poem to this track? I'm feeling kind of lazy at the moment though.
