Also ich muss sagen: Alle Achtung!

Thank you also for your - not necessarily expected by me so - friendly feedback.
Of course, this is not a political forum, but for once - you are Russian, I am German - I would like to say a few sentences about the current German-Russian situation, simply because it is very close to my heart:
It pains me! It pains me much because there has always been a close mental connection between these two countries - even with all historical contradictions - with which I also grew up (and I am not socialized in the GDR, but in West Germany !). The closeness to the USA after WW II was/is mainly political, an emotional closeness like to Russia, however, in my opinion, never developed to the USA, at least not nearly as close.
This is certainly also a major reason for significantly greater political irritation here with us than in other Western countries and it is very difficult to deal with it at all in the current overall circumstances.
I know my contribution probably seems a bit incoherent now, but the current overall situation touches me very much and I really wish from the bottom of my heart that we all get this back in order as it must be ethically and morally obligatory for rational beings.
Hello, Seelengold the fact is that my grandfather was a Baltic German and what is happening in my country makes me feel disgusted and most of my compatriots seem crazy to me, it also hurts me to see it from the inside ((
Best wishes from Russia, Alexander Shamanaev.
I really like to hear Russian, but so right friend piano and vocals here now unfortunately not. The vocals are too loud, should be much more tender.
And don't be angry with me, of course a cliché, I know, but at the gurgling of the liquid is immediately vodka in front of my eyes. And it fits even much less to these cautious sounds.
But what I basically acknowledge: how fast you were with the editing. I wouldn't have been able to do that in such a short time.
Try to get more sensitive vocals. I trust you to do that!
Thank you, Maestro Seelengold, I listened to your advice, they are all on the case and re-recorded and replaced the track file. Only it wasn't the bubbling of liquid or vodka, but the plug-in Sylenth1 01
Sincerely, Shamanaev Alexander
I always find it amazing how differently sounds are received individually. But of course fortunately, because it becomes colorful.
Angelusyeux777SC couldn't really do anything with the vocals; for me, their simple, sparse form fits very well into the basically very uniform, stoic track ("uniform/stoic" is just a description, not a criticism!).
The instrumental-musical representation of a coma state comes to my mind, which on its own would come across as a swan song, but then shows through the vocals that life resists giving up just like that.
I perceive the voice(s) as that of a little girl, of little girls (preschool age), who have a basic charisma that is always fascinating and impressive to me: They are full of optimism, are filled with a confidence that is not damaged by anything, look at the world with boundless confidence, have an unshakable self-conviction.
So on this track they are definitely the vital signals emitting counterweight to the swan song of life.
Overall, a nice, solid track (perhaps a bit too abbreviated in length).
As Angelusyeux777SC said ?
"The overall track/melody sounds NICE! All in All FAB! work. Kudos!"
Thank you for the feedback. I spend a lot of time by myself so not a lot of people hear what I make. That's one of the reasons why I put somethings on here. Always in hopes someone will give me a different perspective. So again, thank you for the feedback.
You have built your song very successfully around the loop.
A really nice sound with suction effect for me, but you should have had the courage to end it at about 3:00 minutes. You then added about 1 minute, which gives the impression "well, has a little lengths". Even as a three-minute song it would not lose conviction; on the contrary!
Your song has undeservedly just 9 clicks. That is really absolutely under value. You put it in as "Featured". Did you think about commenting the song of another member here? Because only then your song will be shown in the featured list. And at the moment this is obviously not the case.
Please do it immediately, otherwise it's a real pity for the song!
Whereby "very impressed" is even better. I just pressed the play button and my spontaneous feeling was: She sings beautifully. And while listening to the song I read the song description.
And there I was then really from the socks: Artificial, no human singing voice! Up to this point, I had not even the slightest thought in this direction, so absolutely self-evident was what I heard.
One does not even like to think where this should still lead with the AI...
But then also to the human being something, so to you: You have underlaid the AI voice with your human instrumental-musical part so convincingly that one can simply say: Really, really great.
All in all an extremely successful combination of human and AI.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Seelengold. I must say that I'm still discovering this voice software, but I can say that I'm quite surprised by its capabilities.
I think you have expressed a positive emotional state very well.
No euphoria, no despair, no discontent, no saddened to death, no supposed hopelessness; no, simply a human moment, in which everything is right, everything is correct, everything has its place, everything is arranged correctly and one sends the thought to God: You, the way it is right now, you can please leave it that way....
To portray this rare moment in human life so accurately musically, that's something you first have to manage...
Apart from the fact that, at least that's what I believe, I have a sense of harmony, melody etc., a sense of what goes together and what doesn't, I had no, really absolutely NO idea.
I clicked through the internet for weeks looking for what could make me smarter. Read tons and tons, without finding even the slightest access to this matter. During this search I became more and more frustrated and increasingly aggressive about the fact that apparently no one was able to write a very simple manual about it.
I had downloaded various English-language DAWs, tried them out, tried them around, they remained a closed book for me. Then tried a well-known German (my native language) DAW, thinking everything would be easier without a language barrier, also a complete bust.
And then, I don't remember how, I came across Mixcraft. Found out there was even a German translation of the English manual for it, downloaded an older version of it off the internet and it was: AN OFFENSE.
It was the very, very first time I understood anything. In short: I downloaded the trial version, tried everything imaginable during the six-week trial period, and bought the standard version just before the end (around $70, Euro).
Since then I've been working with this DAW, now also in upgrade form, and I still say: great, great, great!
In the meantime, they have reduced the probationary period to 2 weeks, but there is always enough time to be able to determine whether all of this suits you or not.
the way your track presents itself, my guess is that you're completely new to DAW, dabbling around, but the result is more or less a random product that you don't really know how it ultimately came about.
In your profile, you state that you're using Soundtrap for your first DAW walking attempts. A little cross-checking shows me that Soundtrap has a community in which the probability that questions about their DAW could be answered versed, is certainly clearly greater than here at Looperman. Have you tried that there? Also on Youtube you can find corresponding introductory videos.
If I misunderstood your call for help or missed the point, just let me know, will you?
I appreciate the help but I use the DEMO of soundtrap to get a feel if I want to invest into this business. So I don't think I can talk to others unless I pay. For the YT videos all the ones about soundtrap really don't help with my style they usually show on drum roll and that's it. If you can help find other ways that would be amazing.
Also I was meaning it also as me asking for help if somebody would like to make the snares kicks and hihats for me and I'd give them credit.
yes, I listened to your song from the beginning to the end. Not just once, but several times.
For me, it is one of those songs that has something about it, without being able to say what it is exactly. It basically has a melody that appeals to me. And then with the voice my first thought is that it sounds very comic-like. But somehow it's probably not completely in the wrong place, because my thought of taking it out of the piece is immediately followed by the thought that then perhaps a component that shapes the character of the song in a not insignificant way would suddenly be completely missing and the song could/would "starve".
Have you ever thought about taking out parts of the "comic" voice and replacing it with a suitable, rather deeper female voice (so in the direction of Amanda Lear)? So that both voices are present in the final version? Matching the proportions of "comic" voice and female voice in the process is a challenge, of course.
I enjoyed listening to your song very much!
Kind regards
Seelengold
P.S. Maybe you don't know Amanda Lear anymore. You can listen to her here, goosebumps...
Thanks for listening bro, I'm not sure how to get female voice,
I like taking classic songs in Spanish and then translating them to English and posting them on my YouTube channel. The original song in Spanish is 'Lo Pasado Pasado, by Jose Jose. I translated it, distorted my voice and then sped up the song. Then I added drums to it and today I edited it to have BOOM BOOM BAP instead of just BOOM BAP.
I would love to be able to get a nice female voice somehow without having to use a painful VST like EmVoice.
English is not my native language, so I don't always necessarily understand every single word in your voice. But overall, I think I understood your text to be ultimately about life itself.
I have now several decades, most of life behind me. Obviously, this feeling of "He wants to achieve great goals and be like a mountain that soars high." is inherent in every human being. Every person lives the first time. There was no dress rehearsal. Life is try and error. You feel your way forward in the world. Sometimes something succeeds, sometimes it fails. There is no patent remedy. Not everyone will become a second Einstein, not everyone the next Elon Musk. C est la vie.
I think a person who makes a conscious effort to go through life as a decent human being and achieves this to some extent is great, has risen high, just "like a mountain that soars high".
I have heard your song very much, especially the chorus you have succeeded really beautiful!
thanks for your answer and of course for your thought that you can imagine a review written by me for your LP.
But I would not be able to do that for sure. Such a review would be preceded by planning, which would immediately involve my head and what leads me here to a comment, namely the spontaneous urge to comment on a song, because it "commands" me the emotion and just not the head, would not come to bear. And such a head-review of me would also not have nearly the same expressiveness, the same expressive value as that of my emotional reaction of the moment.
I am really not suited for the cognitive consideration of music (I am anyway much too head-heavy and try very hard in the last years to give equal rights to the emotion in me).
To express or represent schizophrenia or a damaged soul musically, I wouldn't know how to go about it. So spontaneously I would be completely unimaginative.
All the more remarkable that you managed to do it so convincingly "wrong". "Wrong" in the sense of "slanted", "double contours", "off track".
I see a moving car in front of me, which accidentally slips with the right wheels on the shoulder, thus slips in the lane, still drives, but something is no longer as before, something is suddenly wrong, is suddenly different...
I love the detail and close listening that went into this comment. This is what I love Looperman for. Could I er, interest you in some pay to write a review of the LP I'm about to release.....? I need one, and your analysis of Schizophrenia is SPOT ON
I felt the blazing heat of the shimmering Sierra Nevada, its monotony sliding into infinity, the companero sitting stoically with his hat pulled deep into his face, unable to avert anything, devoted to fate, the atmosphere charged with doom....
A beautiful voice. But I think the song should end at around 02:00 minutes, as it runs the risk of becoming monotonous after that and thus losing impact.
Not only you, but me too! Until 0:43 it sounds wonderfully harmonious with the piano slightly in front of the background accompaniment (the children's voices also fit beautifully into the background, even if I wouldn't want them throughout, but sporadically a little more audible; but of course that's a balancing act, you can also quickly bring it out of balance).
To my ears, the piano and background then swap positions from about 0:43 to 1:05. Overall, it gets louder and the original background accompaniment now sits in front of the piano, which gives up a bit of the lead as a result. To me, it's not quite as balanced as before.
From approx. 01:05 to approx. 01:19 you then take the piece back a bit overall - in my view correctly, in order to prevent monotony - which fits well in terms of timing.
Afterwards, the piano unfortunately retains its place in the background; as I said, in my opinion the piano should have the "say" overall, which by no means excludes taking the background sound temporarily to the front, but only for a short time.
Overall, I like your track very much, because you have designed it really nice harmonic flow, great!
Hey Seelengold, just saw your reply thank you so much for your kind words. you also gave a very good explanation of whats happening in the song! i will definitely use those ''tips'' for future songs :D
I listen then always times here purely, look however thereby not on the names, because I want to hear unprejudiced and either something says to me emotionally, express you to it or it also nothing happens.
Well, and now I have landed again with you. So I like it. And that, although I am truly not a rave fan. But as already with your "Silver Guitar" the song is naturally rather not harmonious according to its genre, but in itself - at least according to my feeling - quite.
Composition and sound quality are basically successful. But the share of the very beautiful and convincingly embedded female voice in the overall song is not coherent; that should be structured a little differently. Place the first 45 seconds (vocals) again in a later part of the song; and in such a way that the instrumental passages are somewhat smaller in the overall ratio, respectively the vocal parts are somewhat larger, and the song thus becomes a bit more balanced.
Yes, it will certainly become a little longer, but that won't hurt: On the contrary!
A bit strange now with me: although I really have no access to this kind of music, I like your conversions but quite. Probably actually through - as already mentioned - their inner harmonics.
Thank you for your feedback. I wanted anyway to reworke it because it doesn't sound exactley as intended. Thanks a lot for the inputs. I will take them into account. This helps me to improve myself.
I am very, very quickly annoyed by too many hard beats, which is why, for example, Hip Hop, RAP is an abomination to me. And often I have the impression that this sometimes becomes an end in itself and uncounted pieces from the genre are completely faceless and thus absolutely interchangeable.
With your piece - yes, I know it's not RAP, but it also has a lot of beats - that's not the case at all. It fits! It fits from the beginning to the end! And the "silver" guitar? is really "terribly" beautiful! This "silver" decorates the entire piece so beautifully that I get involuntarily a friendly, harmonious, slightly smiling face when listening to your track, because it touches me.
The so-called dark elements are there and I feel the same way as you. On the one hand, after a certain time, the piece has basically "called" for it, so to speak, on the other hand, I am just as uncertain regarding their concrete nature.
But this uncertainty does not affect the overall result for me; and that is extremely successful!
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that you liked it. I think I will keep that kind of dark brassy sound. Maybe I will refine it a little more to blend better in the mix.

I see a moving car in front of me, which accidentally slips with the right wheels on the shoulder, thus slips in the lane, still drives, but something is no longer as before, something is suddenly wrong, is suddenly different...
Your track sounds exactly so "wrong"!
Very much appreciated!

There are things that instinct tells me not to touch, not to mess with.
"California Dreamin" - is certainly one of them.
Don't be angry with me, but you don't do that, that's just not proper.
I really feel foreign shame!

aha, you like it...

Many greetings

Thank you for your feedback. I wanted anyway to reworke it because it doesn't sound exactley as intended. Thanks a lot for the inputs. I will take them into account. This helps me to improve myself.

then times completely spontaneously from me:
Kind regards
Seelengold
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that you liked it. I think I will keep that kind of dark brassy sound. Maybe I will refine it a little more to blend better in the mix.
