Salut Rome, awesome track you got here. Really nice production and composition. The start sounds a bit like Thievery Corporation, I also hear a bit Air out of it. Chillout at its best. Love it.
Listening close to this I can hear the noise that comes from the mic. Maybe a denoise or autogate plugin could be a cheap way to filter most of the noise. It's not the perfect solution, but could work somehow. More importantly the structure and arrangement of the song are great. Really good singing and melodies. Nice one.
Well done track. I like the bass that comes in after a minute. I would have played around with this first part a bit more. Second part is also cool but I miss a similar bass...that luckily comes in when the song goes towards the end. I like it.
I agree with MCLA. I like the track too. It was a good time listening to it and as far as I can judge the production is clean and well done too. Nice drum fills. More bass.
Thank you for the review. You know, I always have a fear with the bass... I guess bass and drums are the hardest parts to master, always... I will level up the bass, because it is room for it in the mix.
I like the vibe of this. Compared to your other tunes the production isn't as tight and punchy as it probably could be. But overall it's a great track with a nice flow.
This is such a beautiful and touching song. I like every part of it. Singing and backing track match each other nicely. I think the music goes into the Avantgarde or Indie direction. Very special indeed, and the basssound is also really cool. Nice.
Wow... Thankyou Pillow. This means a lot to me as you have written two of my favourite songs on this site and I have sung your praises to friends who are also in agreement that you have a special talent. Your thoughtful review is greatly appreciated.
This is a really nice pop song. You show serious singer/songwriter skills here. The recordings and the arrangement sound good too. I like it. Nice one.
One of the best chillout tunes I've heard on Looperman so far. It wouldn't be wrong if you extend the playtime a bit. Not shortening anything. Maybe you can even push the volume of the bass a little. Cause it's a really nice bassline.
This is already a good track. A little variation from time to time in the bassgroove would make it even more intoxicating. The drums could be a bit funkier too in my opinion, at least in the part were you only got drums and bass. Well, I'm a bit of a Derrick McKenzie/Jamiroquai fan, so I kinda missed the funky drummer. The guitar and melody sound nice together. Good Work. I'm def looking forward to hear the final result.
This song has a lot of potential in my opinion. Guitar and singing are great. Reminds me of bands like Modest Mouse or Sunny Day Real Estate. I love that kind of music. Keep on doing your thing.
You should check the volumes of your drums in the second part. It's not even. I guess it's because sometimes there are 2 different Kicks or Snares (not sure) hittin at the same time and sometimes not, which results in different volumes. But I think you are already aware of it. Smooth Track by the way.
Yeah, it's a little rough and I should have maybe taken a closer look on that. The blame rests on me mixing using only my headphones. Other than that, I think it's one of my better works in the electronic field. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to it and review it. I love it when fellow Loopers do that. Also, thanks for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed it bro.
Really good track. Great Mix and musicians. Drummer and Basser make both an awesome job. But if you can find such a good bassplayer, you should look for a good singer as well.
