loved that sustained bass. beautiful sound you create with just a few elements. well done. on parts without the bass we need to find something else to fill out listening experience (IMHO).
congrats on your first post of 2019! My idea on this would be to bring the vocal "into" the mix more. I think it would be impactful to experiment with some compression and also some autotune effect. I like the beat and your steady delivery of the rap. nice work.
the detuned aspect is high impact in this one. I don't know if that is specifically characteristic of 'crunk', but this might fit in gangster rap. nice work. regards - Dan
at that time i cut low and mid and leave hi and used autotune on the bells but they comes from trap sounds you can find alot of that on looperman. :) thanks for your feedback.
her voice is very smooth, very expressive, and she seems to understand how to engage with a mic. really same with male vocal. maybe both are a function of your great mixing. it all sounds nice and smooth, well balanced. really inspired by this work. congrats
it seems that augacy mixing board has value, because i find the mix here to be superior - a real commercial level sound. what are the advantages of the external mixer over the internal capabilities of FL Studio? Regards - Dan
wow, Zeus! congrats on this super beat. i don't know enough about the genre to comment specifically. But the mix is beautiful, it sounds great, and I hope you get a good collab with this. regards and happy new year. Dan
relaxing ambience with an interesting sax sound, among all the good sounds used. it has been some time since i listened to your work bleep. i think you continue to mature in all ways. the mix for sure sounds great. regards - Dan
What a surprise! it mades a long time ago we didn't see you in this place! More you come back with a track! i will hear it as soon as possible, be sure of that :)
Maturation, as you said, comes from all of you, Composer, artist, interpreter, those who make this place a living and exchange place!
on the other hand, I take great pleasure in venturing in various directions, without codification or rules, even though I know that sometimes it can make the purists jump, but that you want this aspect of me goes with the fact that I am self-didact probably :)
Really happy to see you again Dan and glad to read you enjoyed this sound :)
very chilled out track and could imagine hearing it in a club lounge or hookah lounge. neat sounds and yeah - cool and subtle latin feel. nice track! regards - Dan
i love the reggaeton feel in this one. you have that down. beautiful intro and your vocal styling is first class. might look for balancing out the volumes between sections a bit. Best of luck with your work. Regards. Dan
definitely makes me want to learn the samba! I love the groove. love the sound of the bass and how it sits in the mix. your percussion are snappy! love it all! nice work!
I love the synths in this one and I love what you do with them. the percussion mix is super solid - that bass sits perfectly. everything is working here and perfect bed for the vocals. you've got a great product and I wish you all the luck with it - should be in the clubs (if it is not already!) big respect - Dan
super energy in this one. lots of interest in the percussion. i love the electric guitar - I haven't heard much of it incorporated in latin tracks - but then I have not been listening to NYC Latin Funk beat! I feel the mix is overcompressed.
wow I think you really love this genre - very joyful and natural. wonderful instrument choices. the mix is excellent. the vocal mix in particular is very well thought out. great work!
so much to love in this mix. the balance of vocals and instruments is great. cool dissonance in the brass arrangements. nice percussion break. I could hear either a bass trombone or maybe even a baritone sax grinding out the bass more in the brass mix. nice work!
beautfiul choices for your orchestral sounds and nice mix-in of your percussion. I especially like your string sounds. compelling work! congrats! Regards - Dan
I am not a musician and I do not differentiate one musical note from another, but I try to do my best effort to that the incredible loops that you made, the true musicians, share here, sound as good as possible.
I love reading that you liked the result!

maybe elements of it could be used in the context of a song with harmonies
could be a hard hitting rap as part of it also
perhaps your mix is a bit over compressed?
great foundation for something cool
let me know if I could develop with you
