on tricky business by bringerofDOOM

Now, this type of fusion works really well and cannot be called a mashup. But I love the jazzy side of this. Really amazing work man. I could dig this tune all day. You got the right idea when it comes to great music. Excellent song.

bringerofDOOM replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Thanks. I usually don't spend more than a couple afternoons on a project, so digging deeper into the mix and composition was an eye opener.

And the contrarian in me would call this a mashup of jazz, rock, and funk :P

Thanks for the listen and kind words.

on MONEY BY THE POUND SpeakUp RMX by SpeakUpProd

Oh snap! You got some skills man. Your sound is huge, the lyrics are on fire man. I love the fact that you can rock this in your language. So many people are underserved in todays music. You know how to spread love, and that is with your music. Good music, great music like what you did here. One love, thats true music!

on melampus by xstokes

I love the originality man. All I need is a knife and some steak sauce because this one is quite delicious. Is that an 8 or 16-bit synth I hear in this one? This song is a trip and a half. Well done man.

xstokes replied 28th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

thanks for having a bite of this, mr A! that glitch sample could be 8-bit, i think!

That is some really old skool funk man. I can hear a little taste of disco in this one too. Like the band "A Taste Of Honey." Well done man.

on Mole People by theHumps

Shockingly kool Wayne. You definitely got the vocals for this one. Your song is like something from a movie or tv show tune. You did not hold back in the least bit. This is not weird, because it has a purpose. It is a fun-ny song. Well done.

Mr. Axel

theHumps replied 21st Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Thanks man!

Tried to make the music sound like it wasn't in any particular key, monotone/bland bass sounds and abstract industrial noises. My mom said it sounded like it should be on tv as well so cinematic in some way.

I love those keys Maj. I mean bands are needed so much more now than ever. We have become a sample-based society now when it comes to music. The pandemic has accelerated the one-man band.

The musician-based bands can offer a much deeper and rich experience like your awesome track right here. Everyone in a band brings their experience and something unique to the table like at a picnic or barbeque.

This one is sweet! Thanks mate for that. I really needed to hear this one! It sort of restores my hope for the future of music and outstanding musicians like you. You and your crew did an amazing job!

Until Tea Time, Cheers!

DijamMusic replied 14th Aug 2021 - 5 years ago

Hello Mr. Axel.
Thanks my friend I am glad you like it.
I do agree with you.
Although the technology made it easier for us to work with it toke the fillings out of music.
Thanks again, mate.
