Paul, hope you’ve landed a satisfying gig, mate. 10 yrs ago i was so alcoholic i couldn’t hold a job anymore — i never been fired, just walked off cuz i was in thrall to the whiskey. the shite thing is i was finally doing work i liked even when i didnt feel so good about my employers. since i started workin again it’s been kid stuff, i miss being really engaged. so anyways that’s what i’m wishing for you man, is finding a living that makes you feel alive challenged and bold. thanks for the visit, mate!

on Religion Wont Save me by JohnSmokey
always good to put lyrics up bro, nice flow, big yourself up too, i do, nice bite at your hater :)) that's how we do it. im not gonna blow smoke out of anyone's arse, but a line from one of your old old tracks i play for a team you wouldn't wanna meet on the street, these cowards would say f#ck all to your face, hide behind avatars, little tip, do it with more spite :)) i love a nasty diss, this is how you do it. enjoy

I just think its comical that someone in 2023 anyone would want to hear anything autotuned...

Right that lines from a " A walk in the park freestyle" good memory!

Ahh I find the best way to address the hater is to ignore them and create a masterpiece in their face.

Thank you - comments from experienced, fellow musicians are very much appreciated. Back story: I have been using a very trusted workhorse of a PC for the last 10 year and this track has actually broken it this morning; I've had to get a new pc today as the video processing I did yesterday fried the processor, so this track is definitely one to remember just for the c*rap what it's caused, as it broke the camel's back today .

Paul thanks for stopping by! These guys are ridiculous to act like they know music better than any of us in any sort of way. Autotune sucke. I rode that beat like a boss. Didn't miss a single quarter note. This kid is literally who I called out my my last song.

very different from you Bou, its got groove still but the electronic work was a surprise, nice guitar though and the vocal is cool too bro, nice job
BaoBou
BaoBou replied 18th Nov 2023 - 2 years ago
It's funny, I've been experimenting with new stuff for the past weeks but most of it still ended up very close to home... but this one happened more or less by accident and the result is I think really different and exciting.
My next track will probably be just more funky guitars but it's cool to have this voice too.

on crime rate - LIL E feat bath10 by littleeli
littleeli, im a supporter of anyone who brings there own voice, so fair play you only been here 5 months, honest feedback, the last line you wrote is close, the vocal is to loud and far to harsh, you need to EQ it too, the vox sound raw with none or very little processing and you seem to be just shouting it out and its difficult to catch what your saying and im English, im just trying to help bro, started singing myself a year ago, i was shite but with constructive critique from the community helped me grow, but you got to learn how to engineer it better thats were all the magic happens, dont give up on this the beat is good revist the vox you need structured verse and breaks you got to be on beat, simple thinga like layer your vox X3 just off set them sidechain some reverb and a few milisecs delay to add to its character, take this as its meant bro, just help, ive worked with loads here on collabs i do everything from pop to rock but im best known for rapping and roasting everyone im contraversial but a massive community player, keep working hard Eli

what's up dimestop! i really appriciate this feedback. i'm definitely a yell rapper for sure, but i will absolutely take your feedback to heart. currently i'm away from my main pc, so i'm not able to do all the rec. that i want. but, when i get back to it, i'm definitely going to master the track with the feedback you gave. thank you!

great synth work dean, nice vibrant pace to it also solid beat and nice pads, plenty happening throughout just adding to the listen good mix bro
deanp
deanp replied 8th Nov 2023 - 2 years ago
Thanks for your comments. I liked how the bass bends sounded; these are prominent throughout and experimented with the gating technique later on in the track. I wasn't sure of it but decided to leave it in. The vox synth was added late on as an afterthought. I'm focusing on trying new techniques out with every track. I enjoy it; I am finding it helpful for mental health - it's also good to get the music out for other musicians to listen to!. Best wishes.

Thanks Paul! I snuck in a little Drake verse, from his song Greece. I slowed down the delivery of it it fit quite nicely. Go listen to his song Greece to see what I mean.

A little different vibe out of me. I'm kind of singing a little thats new for me.
