i hear a big ass boomin kick, a really tight snappy snare, and hats that sound sorta mechanical, strings with phasers set to stun. yesh, do this like what the empire did to alderaan and blow it up.
the real dj premier?!?! primo?!?! WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!!!!!! talkin bout one of my favorite substances in this one, wish i had some... flows of the top of the head is tight, beat is tight. whole damn song is tight, noddin from start to end. need to mix this one tho, vocals are real quiet, bass explodes. but i still like it. awesome job.
rnbstep! the singing and flow combo has a late 90s feel to it, like back before it became the norm. the beat is fantastic. love the strings. the kick is jet li strength and that synth is just perfect. learn from this, always have fun when you make music, has to be the first reason why you want to make somethin. awesome job jamie, glad to see you back around dude.
Thanks mate - much appreciated feedback. I know - its bad but when I get told I have to make something I can never do it. Thats the music industry I guess and probably why I'll never make it ;) Thanks again!
wow, this is heavy. hits you with a lot of things you dont expect. the combinations of sounds is very impressive and satisfying. they way the song constantly evolves is awesome, each part is different from the last. great track dude.
glad to hear more and more people doin dubstep that gets away from that brostep sound. this song is awesome. those drums are sick, love how they have that stutter to them. very unique. that sub is perfect. nice job di.
love the bells, adds a good amount of darkness to the track when combined with all that bottom. mix is real proper too. even tho this sounds mainstream, i like it. good job wizz.
that is awesome. "and youre also not related to me" made me laugh while inhalin a drag off a cig. coughed ridiculous. love that guitar sample. sounds like you work with a lot of wax, should look into a vinyl noise remover. the clicks were pretty hard in this one. another great track man. respect.
one sec, bout to get somethin goin.
ok, to start off, this shit right here...is quality. from the synths to the bass to the added little bits of percussion, i love the beat. in fact, im jealous of it lol. love the verse too. 'this the stash, i dont share with nobody else' made me laugh. your flow on this is tight dude, ridin deep up in that beat. would love to get my hands on the final version of this, add it to the green music playlist. great job man, gonna keep hittin the play button for a while longer.
Good looks Mathematics, really appreciate it. I'm gonna pass this along to RarCharm, it's his verse I got off this site - I wanted something to test out the beat and it was perfect. I'll release the instrumental soon I'll see you on soundcloud.
sorry to burst your bubble, but jazz step has been around. this is real nice tho. love the sounds you used. that sax/flute combo is sexy. nice trip into one of the most underated subgenres of dubstep. awesome job joe.
Thanks for the thought out input. Dubstep is somewhat new to me. I like the genre, and really enjoyed making the track. Thanks for the thought out input. I'll have to visit this genre again soon.
big, heavy and dark. very nice. love those drum parts, you did those up real nice. if your still lookin for a sub, check out am kar bass, its good. awesome track jin.
welcome back to the loop. i see youve brought a tasty beat. love the sound on the track, so mellow and smooth. fist always commin correct with the lyrics. good job guys.
greetings from lansdale. dude, if this stuff played on power 99 or 100.3 i would be listen to them all the time. your style is refreshing, to many young people focus on that style sound. that horn sample is done up real nice. i would carry that key change on a little bit, then go into the main part again. keep that drum end tho, that is so good. shit is smooth, diggin it man.
*applause* this is on some blackstar styles. diggin the groove on this. could boost the volume tho, its super quite. damn, where did you get them sounds!?!? and who b eon the vocals?
horray for the featured track link! sho this is awesome. puttin the dub back in dubstep son. lovin the synths on this. wish it was longer tho. solid dude.
its midnight, ive been blastin music while ive been becomin more and more intoxicated for the last 4 hours. this was just what i needed. somethin filthy. this song made my negihbors call the cops, and the cops arrested them. thkose synths are great. great track man.
no way that is country. country is terrible. its full of fail and has no soul. this really isnt country. it reminds me of the tracy chapman song new beginnings. it has feeling, takes me on a litle audio trek. the auto tune on the vocals is perhaps the first time i have ever heard it used in a way it didnt ruin a song. it fits well with the openness of the guitar. what did you use to make that sound that plays at 3:10? is that a synth or a processed guitar? i like it a lot. and that guitar is so smooth and filling, the way it sits over the mix, mmmmmm. the congas(or are those bongos) adding that extra layer of sound, and the planned way they are brought in adds a nice touch. im diggin this, very groovy. kudos to lonejellifish as well. awesome song.
LOL. THANK YOU. Thank you StereoMathematics. I know it's not really "country", but since most of the stuff that I do is kinda "undefinable" I like to make people reach.
love that part that sounds like the wurlitzer from riders on the storm. really awesome track. brilliant layout how you brought all the sounds together. where did you get the brass sounds? and the guitar? and the flute? and the piano? oh and the bass? they sound fantastic. really really awesome track, title is very fitting as well, *song title* is fantastic too!
this is the type of music you would hear at a jazz festival. the type of music that draws people away from the main stage act goin on at the same time to the b stage to hear this. absotruthfully fantastic.
dude, that is some good dubstep. i like how its on the quiet side, well not really quiet, more refined and civilized. very tasteful use of the synth with 3 oscilators. i like how you added that little stutter on the vocals. awesome track sho.
Thanks Stereo! I'm glad you're diggin it man! I'm a big fan of the stutter lol! I love working with Sytrus. I think alot of people underestimate it. Check back tonight and I will have uploaded the master Spiv did for me. Thanks again man!
