man ... I feel so small while listening!!!!
like being overwhelmed by a landscape that takes your breath away ...
outstanding work folks!!
I don't know more to say ... so I'll keep listening ...
what a fun to listen to!!!
songwriting in it's purest form, I love it ....
and it absolute doesn't matter that I don't understand a word, the music speaks for itself and you get a picture what the song could be about ...
brilliant my friend!!!
Thanks Rei, I'm humbled.
The song really about getting hammerd and making a fool of oneself on a festive night. The result of a night like that is a monster headache. But in this case also a song.
I thank you very much for the kind review. As said in the bar: Cheers.
/pmk
Thanks rei,you know I love some of your funk rock that I reviewed a while back and appreciate your music,I need to visit you more.
Thanks again for stoppin' by!
you're the kind of musician I call "mind-musicians" ...
when I listen to your music it feels like a journey through your mind, and I can't imagine a more personal way to meet someone ...
that's why I love your music that much!!!
Birds of a feather, huh Rei? This one is a kind of "solution" track as I'm looking for healthy ways of rebelling against business as usual. I wanted it to be both happy, and a little bitter sweet because that's what life really is. Highs and lows and everything in between. Thanks for the encouragement and approval here. I'll be by shortly to check out your latest as well! Cheers.
very nice track man!!
I really like the melody, though it's pretty repetitive, some variation on the main theme would be good.
apart from that it's good.
and you have a great voice!!!
and many thx for using my loop ... ;-)
Greatly appreciate the compliments and the review ^^. I know it's a bit repetitive but I didn't have much else to variate with lol. Thank you for the positive review and the compliment about my vocals. I couldn't resist using your awesome guitar loop either, lol. So thank you for providing it.
cool track ....
the balance of the mix could be improved a little bit (for my flavor!) ... the drums seem to be too much in the back, sounds like the drummer is playing somewhere else, so to say ...
don't know if someone else hears it the same way, I do ...
some variation on the guitar solo part would also be good ...
but it's a good track so far!!
yep, John is right ... almost everything is on the left side ...
beside this technical thing it's a great track ... though I prefer real guitars ... but that's only natural for a guitar player like me ... lol
it's a bit too short though!!!
great to have your impressive talent back on the loop!!!!
brilliant production as always ... the highlight for me is the halftime part ... great idea!!!
yeah!!! loved it from the start ...
it's pretty perfect, except one little thing: the bass is too low, I think it could carry the whole track way better if it was mixed a little more upfront ...
other than that: awesome!!!
oh ... I really like this style!!!
great bass line!! and of course the rhythm parts are awesome ... a very chilled but funky track, like Eshar said, very enjoyable ... but way too short ... haha
great work (as always!!)
Hi my friend ... The version "extend", was short ... lol .........!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well. Working with audio and video edition for TV spots and trailers ... these works usually have 15, 30 or 60 seconds it .... . Maybe that's why I produce or compose one track, the melody line is set at time very short ... But ... I admit that even this short .. (again !!!!! lol).. a freelance job, not finished in time. I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks for the review ...
hey, I hear some of my loops!! great ...
it's a pretty weird track, not sure if it's intended, but it seems as you don't care at all about the different tempo of different loops ... at least it's pretty interesting this way ...
strange track ...
hey!!! great arranged track ...
love the energetic flow of it ... that kind of flow only funk can provide ... ;-)
great mix, great sound, great work!!!
sehr gute arbeit ...
Hey rei, thanx for the great feedback. I used GarageBand and my 100-Euro-MIDI-keyboard only. Drums and guitar are loops from GarageBand, horns, bass and E-Piano I played with my MIDI-keyboard. Getting this kind of feedback from You makes my day. Liebe Grüße aus Stuttgart, RobinFranz
very very interesting track!!!
like endtransmission said before: the beginning is very strong ... what I miss then is a catchy hook line, don't know if it should be lead guitars or a synth, maybe vocals ...
the git is maybe not powerful enough, or it's mixed too much in the background, not sure ...
a hip hop rock track is a good perspective for this one!!
anyway, I like it!
and it's good work ...
Hey refs, how are ya! thanks for stoping by and listening! yeah, i got a bit lost for ideas on the track, tried some thing out, was not happym felt the holes in there, tried some things, still was not happy! looks like this is one of those open tracks to work out at a later time!I was tring to get something underway with it,so far this is as far as i got in a few weeks with track,I hopeing enough feedback will guide me to a finish! allways many many thanks!
wow ... that's been a weird journey ... and I like it a lot!!!
though this musical direction is not my thing at all I can hear a lot of creativity in there, and I can say that this track has a pretty clear structure, which is great to notice in a glitch track ...
cool work!!
and thx a lot for using my loop ... ;-)
after reading your description I had to hit play ... and I'm glad I did ... ;-)
this is ambient in it's full meaning!!!
incredible patient playing man ... you really give the sounds the time they need to develop their brilliance ... that's very hard to do and I have a lot of respect for this ability!!!
brilliant piece of art ...
fantastic track!!!
i saved my session in ambiloop and so i guess i could provide the four loops that constitute this piece if anybody might like to take them and use them somehow?
more detail on the piece itself - the fourth loop comes in after the second "solo" and is all ebow. i gradually add in ambiloop's own delay, set to two non-identical delay times (didn't program them, i just made sure they were different :-) ), then slowly fade out loops 1 & 2 which were panned hard left & right, then fade out loop 3 to leave just the ebow loop with the ambiloop delays. i thought i made a nice ending to the piece.
oh, delay times : tracks 1 2 and 3 are 8.8889 seconds and track 4 is 13.3333 seconds.
thanks again for your support and encouragement, guys! :-) :-) :-)
it's always amazing what filters can do with sounds, though I should know it by now .... haha
your creativity seems to have no boundaries ...
so every new track of you makes one curious for what will come this time!!!
and you never disappoint ....
perfect!!!
At this stage, it is probably too early to post this one, but I really feel like I need some advice. Like looking through a microscope, I'm now unable to see the Big Picture! This one actually surprised me, as I know what's possible with filters, but it's a shock anyway. I think with some work this will actually turn into something really worth sharing. Glad you approve of the direction it's going! Cheers.
