Nicely constructed.
Not too boom boom and pleasant to listen to
The 13 years have done you good to get to this.
let me think .. uhmmm im doing this for 3 years now so I should go another 10 years and then I'll be 68 hahahaha
I can already see myself sitting with my daw in the retirement home lol
Hey Pseudo
You put this drums ande the rest really nicely together.
Hats off.
The vocal is also very nice.
I can see you growing and growing but hey...don't go too fast or I'll get such an inferiority complex lol
Yo Michael im backkkkkkk!! lol
So is this the neighbour who need to hear all your tracks and and then decided to join?
Well you 2 didd a great job together.
Hi Princess, to answer your question Diego composes the base of the song on acoustic guitar, and I transform his track according to his tastes ... not always easy !
Michael
wow Paul the slim shady!!
This one is the best.
The vocal fits perfect and the lyrics is great.
1 thing makes me laugh...every lady wants my baby.
But i mean it Paul...you come so far because you had guts.
Im so proud on you.
yes young lady, i believe im the slim shady,
maybe the ladies dont want my babies
but i still drive em crazy, im great me
i just can't stop Rita :))
thanks for stopping my favourite spice girl, i put a lot of work into the lyric on this, the music was sic, i wanted to highlight the vocal performance 6 mins is a long time to rap constant and keep it fresh, i was really pleased with the overlays spacing and the clarity, i was pleased how it all sat together like it should be there, you know what i mean, and i agree that its one of my best. thankyou for your continued support mrs you are a true friend and a great artist
I don't quite understand what you mean. But as I understand it now, do you still find my music too incoherent? It must be....my son says it more often lol. To learn everything from 0 to this level in 3 years not easy at my age. In addition, I have my own style and I cannot be placed in the regular box that I consciously do not want. Everyone has their own taste and style. If you don't like it, it might indeed be better to say nothing. There are also people here on LM who only comment to put someone down but will never respond positively to the better tracks. Thank you for finally giving a replay. Greetings, Rita
Your description made me laugh.
You must have been hungry lol.
This track is indeed something different from what we are used to from you, but in a very positive way.
The music is great and also vocals are great and fit in perfectly.
Very well done Jynxz!!
The Female Vocal laugh@35sec. is the same vocal you've been
commenting on for about 2 or 3 yrs. I manage to fit it into every track I write. I really hadn't given Vocals much though until you commented on the Vocals way back then. Now sometimes the Vocals take over the track and I end up re-writing the music behind the Vocals, even when the track started out with them as just accents.
Thank you for stopping by and giving this track(hope it didn't wake you this time)a listen kind comments and especially the Fave.
I totally understand how frustrating it is.
I prefer not to use ready-made basslines and loops and try to do as much as possible myself.
The first and last bassline I made by stretching a bass in different lengths and using the pitch.
I sometimes try it with a synth by making a tone very dark.
With youtube I always have the problem that they speak english which is not my strong point and they explain everything so quickly.
Must be my age that I don't pick it up that quickly lol
How you tried it is actually algebra to me.
I'm completely free of the rules of music hahaha.
I do and try what comes to mind and if it sounds good then I'm happy .
That's why I often refer to my tracks as the Rita bounce genre lol.
I've just been into music for 3 years.
You can tell from your track that you have much more experience.
In any case, I think your bassline turned out well.
But we ourselves think it can always be better, right?
Greetings Rita
Being "free of the rules of music" isn't necessarily a bad way to be. I read somewhere that Stevie Nicks was advised not to learn about music formally because it might ruin her innate ability to create great songs. Her talent is instinctive. Not sure if that's really the right way to express it, but I think you will understand the meaning.
Most of the time, I have no idea what chords I'm really playing when I'm working up a sequence. And, apparently in one of my older tracks posted here, I did a key change in the track, but was quite unaware that I'd done it. One of the more accomplished musicians here on Looperman commented on it! I was quite surprised. :)
I spend a LOT of time going through all the vocal samples/loops that came with Logic Pro to find ones that I could use with the track as it was developing. I'm generally not very good working with loops, other. than midi loops. Rolling bass lines seem like they should be simple enough to make, but I really had trouble getting it so it sounded half decent. I still don't know why. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to do it. I thought I should be using side chain compression to "duck" 16th bass notes that coincide with kick drum hits on the first beat of each bar, but that didn't work for me at all. Ended up doing all 16th, and then erasing the midi notes for the first one at each beat in the bar. But then had to adjust the velocity of the remaining three notes to get the right feel. Plus applying a LFO filter preset to get it more locked in sync. I assume that, with practice, it would become a lot easier to accomplish! :)
Hi Pseudo
It may be psychedelic but I always find it amazing when someone can bring all these sounds together into 1 whole.
When the vocal starts I really start to love it.
Very well done !!
Thanks for sharing Joe.
I understand you very well.
I barely survived cancer a few years ago. I had no problem going public with it until I saw that a lot of people couldn't handle it and didn't know how to react so they kept quiet about it.
That actually hurt a lot more.
I also understand your rollercoaster of emotions and fear very well.
Once again I wish you a lot of strength but try to enjoy everything that matters to you.
In addition, you are also entitled to the days when you feel bad.
You don't always have to seem like the strong person to your environment...it's about you.
True words Rita
But at the end of the day, I'm also a father and husband and of course I don't want to put anyone down on my loved ones.
At the moment everything is going well and the results are very positive as far as it goes.
What really annoys me is that I had just started tearing my studio apart to build a nice new one. And now I'm so exhausted and battered that it will take months :) But at least I always have something to do and can distract myself
It is important that YOU stay healthy Rita.
In this sense
stay tuned

Hey Joe.
Thanks for your nice replay.
I dont have Analog Synths 2 but i have some Roland synths.
they are also cool.
Unfortunately, my daw can't handle the Roland synths because it's too full. With a lot of crackling and delay, I try sometimes to make a beat with it by luck. Then I have first to throw it out of my daw to hear if he succeeded lol.
I did indeed read something about your health in the discription.
I hope it's not too bad or it will get better.
I don't want to go into that too much because of your privacy, but I wish you a lot of strength.
Hello Rita
I know. I know that all too well. Jerky and twitch and freeze and cancel and and and. Frustration quickly sets in. Somehow at least all DAWs I use or have used seem to have the same problems. And meanwhile I have a well-equipped PC with a lot of power and all sorts of great things, but these problems keep popping up every now and then :)
You just have to say - close your eyes and through.
When it comes to my health, I've changed my attitude. At first I didn't even want to think about it. Then I just wanted to keep it in the family. I then extended this to my circle of friends. And now I think - oh ##### it, tell everyone else and show them where you really stand and how you really are and how you deal with it. But not everyone is seriously able to deal with it properly. If you speak to me now I just try to explain how i feel and deal with it. I usually feel better afterwards and the others worse......
And to keep it short - I'm playing for time.
With a bit of luck it will be 10 or more years, with bad luck it will be much much less. But I'm still in the game.
I hope I haven't spoiled your day with my openness. Just always remember that I've learned, sometimes better sometimes worse, to deal with it. Cause i know now how great and good some people around me really are. Und das macht mich dankbar.
