I like the idea of bass as a melody instrument. After that it lent itself to create a dramatic scene. Grow yer fro and go go go.

Hey Bill - yup, all from that trumpet sample at the beginning. The one you heard and reviewed was actually a bit draftier than I usually post, and I think the next revision's sounding a bit better. I got pretty excited about what was possible playing to effects with the new MIDI controller. Thanks for the listen and encouragement. Most appreciated!

Very nice acoustic sound...it's tough to get a good recording on acoustic so I can appreciate the mix. Great vocals man...you sing with a lot of feel. Nice lonely ominous sorrowful feel. This is one of my treats for the night for sure. Great job - Bilbozo

I know I am reviewing this track twice, but I wanted to let JW know that the mix is sounding bangin'. I like the way you have remixed everything and how you combine all the tracks at the end..nice concept to see how everyone fits into the track with the same progression but with different approaches in genre. Liked your stuff so much I had to come back for another taste. Keeping in the family..now that is awesome. A father & son team. I am actually teaching my 4 year old to play guitar on a Fender half pint size guitar. Nice progressive sound on this track, guitar work is fantastic. I love the progression, very unique and original. 11/10 (One extra point for doing a song with your son.) - Bilbozo

Wow that was a great ride guys. Such great musicianship in this one. You really captured a lot of nice latin flavor in this track. I love the guitars, the background hook and the leads dancing overtop of it. As for the bass playing, it had my jaw on the floor. Planet is playing bass leads, making chords to enhance the atmoshere. Plant has what I think is an unmistakeable signature sound that is so awesome, so unique, it difficult to describe, he's more than a bassplayer....he's a bassplayer with monster ears. Hello there Bilbozo,

Nice to hear from you. Been a long time for sure. I see you on Facebook as well, but I am not that active as many are in playing the Farmville game or the Mafia one.
Anyways, glad you got to listen to this revision. Your right about it being too short. 'Vicen' wanted to try it and so I told him to go ahead. Came out pretty well too I think.
I haven't done too many songs lately as I have been having a lot of overtime at work.

I am currently working on a Rock-Crunch type of tune. Has a blazing lead, but it is a loop this time.

Presently, I'll be working 3 weeks without a day off. So gotta get it while I can as a lot of folks are out of a job these days.

I'll stop over to your profile and check out what you have up as its been awhile. ;-)

Sounds good JW. The rock part sounds a little high end now...all the bass fell out of the mix. Did you run it through a filter or EQ it? Nevertheless I like how things are blending. Very cool.

yes...i compressed the high end a bit...but man...its just a demo...you do the final mix on your part...its your baby at the end :)
hey...could you change the notes on the bassline...like in my dance demo...that would be perfect :) i played all parts together...and your bassline dont fits well with the rest...the guitars are great :)

Good start on the intro. Looking forward to hearing it once is finished. Some work needed in the mix and EQ, needs some bottom end as it's a bit mid-rangy. Welcome to the site.
