you know whats crazy? I literally just bought this album 2 days ago and thought 'Damn, that title seems familar' when i was goin throught your tracks (again). Then I read the description was like 'wow.... thats not creepy at all....' haha!
Good job man, steller. I acually think I like this version better than the origanal. No lie.
BEST DESCRIPTION EVER!!!!!! haha that description was selling point to me listening to this... frigin awsome take man. love the cat meows. haha love it.
i agree with brillionx lol - i would like to hear it without the vocals. The vocals are okay - i like the lyrics themself, but i dont theyre tone quite fits the track properly.
Anyways thats me dousing the world with my opinions again haha!
@Mrbrillonx 'I could like...' saying 'could' instead of 'would' you sounded just like my sister haha - gave me a good laugh.
NUADA is right - it does seem to not be able to make up its mind between Dub and Dubstep, jumps between the two quite a bit. That being said it a plus for the track: it means its original, mixing genres is almost always a good thing (provided the genres in question acually fit together - do NOT try to show me a mix between country and dub.... lol)
Ive check out the origanal and ima decided to shoot at a mix myself!
im not very experianced at remixes tho so i prolly wont pump out all that good, but we'll see what happens.
This is... amazing, there are so many 'rappers' here on the loop who undoubtly have no clue what they are doing - becuase of that i have kindof biult up a bias against 'rappers' on the loop... you have definetly shattered that bias to pecices.
Gret work - seriously, your defenitly going places.
Good song, theme, and direction. But as has been mentioned - needs a good polish-up with mastering. etc, the bass is far to highgain need to tone it down a bit, and the vocals, they need some Fx - reverb and volume adjustments.
wow man, are you with a label? cause all of your stuff is simply amazing, totaly stellar. I have several of your tracks in my iTunes and on my Ipad, and I grab another one from the loop whenever I get time. Al these other lame punks blasting eminem, or the lastet DUB or House hit, and I roll up beside them at the lights pounding your beats - I get more looks than they do.
I see this a wicked pieice for a thriller/shooter moive, while the big super-strong-and-cool bad guy is walking down the mall shooting everyone in a causal manner, have this track playing along with it. perfect dark/evil theme.
Absolutly loving this, downloaded and faved. Theres a few number of tracks that I come across here that snag for the ol itunes library and the ipad, and listen to them while driving, and this is the newest additoin to that playlist.
I do like the feel of this, and i do quite like the bridge you mentioned, but affter that bridge i was expectiong a killer bassline with a wet synth to pound on in, thats just my opinoin though.
Having listend to this, and 'Mind Trip', I acually think your voice (im assuming its your voice anyway) is quite good. Its suits the meatal genre perfectly.
-Tyler
you think my voice is good? thanks man. I have always thought that my voice wasnt all that great. I am getting ready to lay down some vocals on illregulare sometime this next week. I gotta really push it hard and yell loud to get it metal sounding. makes me feel like im pooping out of my mouth. lol definately taxing because its not something i do often. again tahnk you for listening adn your kind words. :)
Acually, considering these seemingly limitations, it turned out out quite well. In fact i think the drum beat fits perfect with the track, of course it could use a little refining and polishing up, but the bsic beat is good. I play guitar too, and I do indeed really like this work.
Just needs a better quality recording, and minor touchups etc..
But its very good.
This is very nice, it flows quite well. Very, relaxing. But it is rather repetitive, try changing this up abit, different drum beat here and there, change key, toss in a few other instruments in some places.
haha I love it. Ill never quite look at this classic the same way. I would have prolly tossed a few synths i there, but thata just cause im addicted to synths.
I love the soft intro, and the soft synth througout. I do agree with digital that it would be topped off with abit of dub tossed in, not too much, just abit.
Ive just recently been getting into the hip-hop scene, and snooping through the hip-hop material on the loop. I must say, that his being the first of your tracks ive listened to, my first impression is: YOUVE GOT TALENT MAN!
I like it, Particularly the lead synth, and the beat runs perfect with it too. Its good as is, but I sure wouldnt reject a longer version ethier ;)
I think I can recall the first time you mentioned this track a while ago, unless im thinking of the wrong one, but im pretty sure its the same one.
I really like it so far, Id try working with bringing in a strong/up-front square synth at the 50 sec point. Somthing to bring out the rythm thats already there and trun it into more of a hard-hitting melody.
Yeah, I mentioned this for the experimental mixtape, but bieng as it never kicked off, I just decided to upload it here. I'll definatly try to take your advice on board.
Im not really a dubstep fan but I have a liking for this. Where did you find this acapella? i cant seem to find it in the acapellas section here on looperman.
