Its hard to argue against perfection, but youre the chef and this is your cake. Extra frosting will only make it better, its already a 10/10 for me tho. I come back to this one alot man.

Hey Oli! yo I use 20+ year old vst software sometimes. Heck, Electra and Spire are getting up there in age, and i use them in almost every song. Theres something special about older software when it comes to making this type of music - and yes, epscially for the basslines lol/ But dont sleep on the pads or synth orchestral stuff, either. I love this one dude, the vocals and background vocals were very interesting - had to listen twice man, i had some special ciggarettes this evening lol...and well, this track was really dope to listen to. Britt likes it too, so it gets her seal of approva! i dont always get that myself lol. cheers brother

Next to the other sounds I use Reaktor from NI for about 20yrs. Even today I still find unusual sounds in there. It was the first good sounding VST Synth. There is a huge user database with self made synth models existing today. Have a good flight :-) Cheers, Oli

Looperman has shown me some very talented folks from Greece, Thank u for representing your country and culture an sharing it with us. This was entertaining and well done. The music reminded me of some of the late 90s pop rock groups I remember hearing alot.

Dude, the truth is Ive always had trouble connecting with old school Vibe R&Bish type stuff - BUT this is twice now that youve held my attention all the way through a track. On top of that, look at u representing the community bny featuring the community!! good shit man. You have the right idea on how to grow as an artist. To ever say we have learned all there is to learn is the day we become foolish, u know what i mean? I learn everyday from people im grateful to connect with, and Iearn from their music. Especially when its not my genre, so to speak. Anyway, Im glad to see some of the same qualities in u, man. Good work on this one.

Wow, man, that really means a lot! I respect that youre open to stepping outside your usual vibe and giving my tracks a shot. I think featuring and learning from the community is such a huge part of growingnot just as an artist, but as a person too. Im honored that you see some of those same qualities in me. Its inspiring to hear how you approach music with an open mind, especially when its not your usual genre. Thanks for the support and for sharing your journeyits connections like this that make it all worth it!

Ooooo Bminor and Gminor both are great for basslines (while keys like A#m or F#m are not as easy for me because the relatively higher (or lower) pitch than other keys complicates things a bit. Anyway, I'll come up with some stuff, in a variety of tempos and patterns. When it comes to drums and 808s, I'm kinda like captain America - I can do this all day.

All right, that I can most definitely do. Any particular key youd like the bass to be in? And the desired tempo is important, of course

ValveDriver replied 16th Mar 2025 - 9 months ago
Whatever you got, man. I can work with it. Generally, I stick to Bm or Gm, but I'm good with whatever you throw my way. If I can't get anything to stick, we can try something different.

Alright, I have to agree, this has a very positive vibe. I could see this being a dance type track. Keep up some momentum and expand on a theme with ur next track, maybe go for a sad or even angry emotional vibe and let ur own personal feelings bleed into it, i find alot of the time it gives the music more emotional weight and connects with the listener even more. Hope to hear your next one.

Thats a heck of a name, my friend. I see where the tripple N comes in lol. Ive really been enjoying ur recent EDM work, so this one took me back down to Earth - not that its a bad thing. Sometimes revisiting old work can be very beneficial to our current work, in unexpected ways. I can hear the stock plug-ins in some ways here, but when theyre used in creative ways, thats not all that relevant, to me anyway. I feel like some good effect work would take this one to another level, especially on that Piano. The panning to a lesser degree, but Valvedriver (The Other Aaron lol) really knows his shit so whenever he offers his advice, I listen with all ears. I can see youre doing the same, good on u bro. I can also see how some live instrumentation could benefit this one, as well, so youre onto something there, too. Ive had a pretty unlikely musical journey to get where I am now, but a large part of that has been as a guitarist in a band that once did small tours, I was also responsible for settingup stage monitors, Micing up the instruments etc alot of the time, and I was a performing DJ for many years after that, so I understand the impact live instrumentation can have on a song. Its not always easy to work them into a song such as this one, but that challenge is part of why music is so rewarding. Im glad to see that youve stuck around this community, and that you also reciprocate and listen to alot of our work, as well. I Hope youll become a mainstay and work with many of us as time allows. You have done some nice work, man. Praise must be earned imo and youve certainly done that, from me and from my brother as well.

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughtsit honestly means a lot! Im really glad to hear youve been digging my recent work, and its cool that this track gave you a bit of a different vibe. Going back to some older styles has been a fun way to experiment and keep things interesting, so its awesome to hear that it clicked with you in its own way.

Your suggestions are seriously appreciated, and Ill definitely keep them in mind. Adding some extra effects and live elements could be a game-changer, especially for the piano. I know its not always easy to work those elements into a track like this, but that challenge is part of the fun, right? Hearing about your background and all the different roles youve taken on in music is so inspiring. From being in a touring band to DJing and handling techits clear youve got so much experience and a unique perspective. I can tell thats shaped the way you approach and listen to music, and its great to get feedback from someone with that depth of understanding.

Being part of this community has been amazingits such a great place to learn, connect, and grow as an artist. Knowing that my work has resonated with both you and your brother really motivates me to keep pushing myself. Im super grateful for the support and the thoughtful advice. Looking forward to continuing to collaborate and seeing where we all go from here!

Cheers king!

I gotta be caeful doing that surgery to my own work, theres so much of it Id never be seen again lol. Anyway, dude I swear there isnt a single piece of yours that i dont like, its always fking awesome. This has a slowr pace to it that would suit my drum and 808 style - I think that whenever youre ready to do that full collab, something with the DNA of this one will be the place to start. Im ready whenever - Im not as busy as I was, but it wouldnt matter. Id drop everything to work with u lol.

When I first started out here, a few regulars and I started referring to my style as "Electrosludgedoomstep". I had this idea that using all synths, but in a metal style would be something cool. It was. To a degree. There was even one that Neomorpheus laid down a killer guitar track to. But, after awhile, I got tired of doing it that way and just started doing trad metal. I have a shitload of old tracks that are just sitting there waiting for their turn on the operating table. So, yeah...if that's a project I continue with, the world may not see me for quite some time either.
As far as starting that collab, why don't you kick it off by putting together a few drums and 808 patterns and send 'em over. I'll put a few riffs to them, and we can go from there. I have a few ideas that might work. But, we can work details in DMs.
Take care, man.

Dayum bro - cold blooded. Sounds a bit like a cleaner Slipknot. Very nice work. Strangely, Im also a producer who plays guitar. I have 2 main types of work I usually do - Cinematic or hard trap beats, and my Hybrid beats work, and I utilize both types when Im working with my group, The Monzder Squadd. Right now we are on a 6 month break, as we just finished our double album recently. Much of our work can be found here on my brother's channel, The Monzder Squadd. Ive just been collaborating with members of the community here the last few weeks, if youd be interested in shooting me some guitar work or stems, I can put something together as a collab and maybe reach some more ears, if youre interested. Meanwhile, Ive got a friend and frequent vocal collaborator that recently found himself without a band, i can definitely give him a call for you. His name is Normal Fred, and he did some vocal pieces for several Monzder Squadd tracks, a few of which are uploaded here on LM. Everyone that contributed to the Monzder Squadd project really wanted to do something different and unique, and Fred helped with that ALOT. He'd be right up ur alley.

Glad to see someone else respects AngelicVibes' preset game lol

TheFrenZ replied 13th Mar 2025 - 9 months ago
Hi Aaron, the secret is "Jek's Vital Presets.7z" archive, includes 31 from AngelicVibes. Search the net for "2432_free_vital_presets".

The biggest problem I have with preset lib creators is that you have to buy almost blind, buy the lib for one sound you think you heard in the demo and get the rest you don't need for free, that's expensive, then there's also the non existing budget, so I don't buy. If I can't find what I need in my extensive list of free Vital presets (2590), I rather tweak an existing one, check presetshare or try to make one myself. So I guess I'm not playing the game.
I purchased some hardware and 1 software thing: a Reaper license for 60$, everything else is at the costs of spam in my email box.
I guess I'm a pain in the ass for people in music land who want my bucks.

I honestly dont kno if i have a favorite streaming site, if I were able to squeeze in the fee right now it would likely be Spotify because of the sheer volume of listeners. Bandcamp is intuitive once you upload there a few times... but I wish I could do Spotify. I'm sure that information answered everything but your question lol. My bad.

One of you guys' strengths is that your work continues to evolve and get better even after the 1st posting - several of your songs have this quality and it encourages more plays. A good marketing ploy lol. By the way, I wanted to tell u a bit more about the graphic and artwork I've been doing on the side - there's gonna be a lot of it with the Loserz Club album, but another good example would be Cyberflares' new logo he's had for a month or 2, I wanted to make something dope for him as a gift for all the work he was putting into our project. I think it suits him perfectly. I'm advertising my services more these days :)

No worries here, man. Once someone earns my friendship, it's for good. And a friend who is stressed or worried or in pain is a friend who might need someone to listen, or a little extra to help them through something. My mom taught me everything she could with the time she had on this Earth, and loyalty, respect, and empathy for my friends is among the most important. Like me, u have the ability to translate how u feel into music - and that music deserves to be heard and felt by others without worry of judgement or worse. You have my support, and anything else u might ever need from me. You're among friends here.
A lot of my work tends towards the darker side of emotion and feeling, that's how I deal with how horrible life has been the last few years for my better half and I. It helps so much to be able to release that darkness and create something worthwhile with it. I'm glad to say that you're able to do that, as well. I really liked this piece, man. It's not hard to imagine what the words might be if this were a poem instead of a composition. That's the magic of music at work.
TheFrenZ
TheFrenZ replied 7th Mar 2025 - 9 months ago
Thanks for the nice words, I really appreciate it. Creating music is something I learned a bit over the last 14 months, creating lyrics/poem is something else, I'm a left brainer, logics is my thing not feelings, I'm open for suggestions :-)

man i cant describe how much i love this song. Ive really been Going back to my Metallica and Pantera Garage cover band roots in alot ways these last few months, and its only grown stronger. So I guess having that shredding guitar in some of my work is gonna be a permanent kinda thing. I understand metal in a very intimate way, so its nuances come naturally to me. Its not hard to tell how naturally your garage and stoner rock vibe comes to u. I always enjoy ur work and this one here is my fav so far. Hats off to everyone involved.

Hello Kay, I wanted to give this another listen and give u another play and comment, while simultaneously answering a question u had for Cyberflares - who or what is the Loserz Club, and where can more be found?
The Loserz Club is....Cyberflares and Pnnywze, a side project we've been working on for a couple of months. We're gonna release it as a fully realized album, I've done artwork for every song, which I thought would be different and cool (It is) and we're approaching the finish line on it. If youd like a copy, its yours, of course. We'd be honored.
And this song here was even better this time around. U have such a crystal clear way of enunciating your words, and u instill Emotions in the listener with ease. Man I wish I could sing :/

I'm really touched by your kind feedback - I am a lyricist and conveying emotion is my thing, as such, so it is heartening to see the words and emotion hit the spot. We would love a copy of your album - please keep us posted - excited for you - you did the artwork, too - a totally immersive creative, now that is inspiring! Kay

HEARTED.
I'm at a loss for words when it comes to describing your range, Kay. Itd be easier to describe what you can't do, as itd be a much shorter list. Sometimes I'll hear a song somewhere, even a melody I'm putting together, and I'll hear your voice gliding over it as smooth as butter. That's a very good thing. And being paired with Ollie must've been fate. I'm grateful I crossed paths with u guys, I've learned a lot from so many here, especially about how and where inspiration comes, and trying to be more versatile.
