The best artists are always humble, Richard. Your vocals are where u shine, but your are certainly no novice. Much of the stuff that u learn about vocals, such as keys etc, apply to other areas of music, as well. It gives u a head start, so to speak. I attended Vincennes school of Music for a single semester years ago, but I learned alot more about bong hits and beer funnels than anything else lol. I learned more of what i know about music theory on my own as a guitarist and later as a DJ. I feel your past experiences prepared u well for your current endeavors. When it comes to learning, that never stops for any of us, and that applies to every member of this community, myself not the least. And u have the power of conviction on your side , as well - u believe in what youre doing, and that translates into your work. Whenever i comment on something, I try to say the most helpful things i can. And in your case, its usually about important your work is to have here, and how naturally talented you are. That alone is enough to carry some people, but u have more than that. Dont discount yourself. brother. U are skilled at what you do. and I know for sure Im not alone in that belief. This is the LM equivalent to me shaking your hand, my man.
Thanks so much for the thoughtful words, Pnnywze. I really appreciate itit means a lot to me. I agree, its important to always keep ourselves in check; learning never stops, and our unique experiences shape our music. Your insight is spot onbelieving in what you do and having conviction truly makes a difference in the work. I definitely won't discount myself, and your encouragement reinforces that. Its great to be part of such a supportive community, and Im grateful for you being a part of it. Appreciate you, my man.
Another one? wow bro, I think u might surpass me on productivity, and Ive rarely leave my desk these last few weeks lol. This one feels like a gear change from what u usually do, not that its a bad thing. Quite the opposite. The Vibe is pure joy - and i dont think anyone could hear this and not be affected by it. When a man truly loves what he does, its plain for all to see. well, in this case, plain for all to hear. Youre a great artist, Richard.
Hey Pnnywze, thanks so much for the kind words! Honestly, I'm not that good at music productionI'm more of a "work by ear" kind of person. Once it feels right to me, I share it, but Im fully aware there are much more professional producers out there. Still, I feel compelled to share what I can.
I also only do this after office hours, and that's if my daughter allows me some time! So, its a bit of a side project for me, but I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and share your thoughts. Means a lot.
I know Ive got a lot to learn, and I want to make it a habit next year to focus more on mixing and mastering. And I cant even play any real instrumentscan you believe that? Haha! And just for your info, I use Adobe Audition 1.5 (best believe that!) for recording and mixing vocals, while FL Studio handles the beat production. Then I pull the wave file back into FL for final mastering, haha! The vocal part is actually from an experience when I was in the choir at a small-town church in my teens
Hey man - One of the members of my group would like to use this for a short hype track, it would be posted to the group's page whenever it was done. I encouraged him to do this, working with other producers' work here in the community is an experience that will only benefit him, and all the other group members. what is the BPM on this one? Its pretty fast, and thats exactly what he wanted today
Out of all the songs we have put together, this is the one that had me the most hyped as we were making it. We all felt the magic in the air, and that magic is still there, getting even more potent, somehow. Im proud of all u guys, but especially u bub. Lets keep the momentum going. Good choice on picking this one to upload, btw. Hopefully we get a few more plays with it. Love ya bub - Aaron
Well this is certainly different man. Id almost put it under cinematic-type, its very visual, and that is one of my favorite things about music. well done.
My fav lady - Its crazy that u got such a late start. Hearing your work after 20 years of experience would be kinda scary and intimidating lol - because it would be almost too good. That is one reason Im featuring the song "Taste For Blood" Part 2 that you did on the Monzder Squadd Album - It stands on its own, and I love it. And I love this. I swear, u can do anything! So many of us love u, Rita. And want nothing else but to hear more. Excellent work. - Aaron

Hey there you are.
Hi Aaron.
Better to late then never.
Im so glad i found the music.
Im a shame...i said i will put the Taste for blood in featuring but then i make this new song and couldn 't wait to upload it.
Anyway im glad that you like this one.Thanx
Greetz for your bro..and youself ofcourse lol
Right off the bat, gotta say that kick is fire man, really all the drum & perc elements were great, honestly similar to choices I would make were I creating this beat. nice build up of tension at the beginning, works really well - if the track were longer, id even consider doing another build up part way thru, it works that well. I feel some late noughties influence in it, but also some new wave as well. Everything blends well, and Mixing is solid. Really Well done track, man.
Ironic that Jared beat me to the punch here lol, But Im glad to see him expand his horizons a little bit. anyway bro wat in the world has been inspiring u, I like dthe last few things youve put out quite alot, but jeez this one is good. like permanent playlist good bro, u should be proudly showing this one off on Bandcamp or something. Well gd done my guy!- Aaron
Hey Aaron - thanks for the lovely feedback mate - I did get on the discord but that platform really shits me - I just cant seem to find my way around on any discord - anyway enough moaning. In terms of inspiration Im just experimenting with different things and layering and trying to learn how to get a decent mix - got a few largely finished but hoping for a vocal or something else to polish it off - probably just give up and post hey. Look forward to having a listen to what you have been up to
Hello Anthony - I always enjoy your pieces, I really do think much of it would be at home in a video game. From the way ur songs pull on the imagination and emotions. And what could anyone hope to achieve with their music beyond that? Thats the top of the mountain, my friend. I can see the theatrical themes, and yes its very cinematic. I can see Kay's comment, and it is dead on with how this one could be imagined. Well done man.
- Aaron
Thank you Aaron,
it is really good to know that my music evokes the emotions you describe. Yes, this is what I really enjoy. It is a wonderful procedure when you make music but it is really a great feeling when the feedback is positive in such a way.
My regards, Anthony
Yeah, This one is one of our best. And ur "super Bowl" ad lib is crazy lol. We've been on fire lately, and soon itll be time to start ur solo album. Lets keep the momentum going. Luv ya bub - Aaron
So, Do you wanna Dance?! - Well not usually no. lol. Im about as graceful as an ice skating sloth. But this made me want to pretend i was lol. Less harmful to my general vicninty that way lol. Theres some funk here, but i feel alot more soul. Top notch u guys. - Aaron
'Love will find you at the right time' - whoa Kay, that was a profound thing to say. That is the way it happens. Certianly not when ur looking for it. In my experience, what we get when we're looking for love tends to involve less love and more - other stuff. I had decided i didnt give a shit anymore, Id give my heart to beer and Pot. Then love took a baseball bat and clocked me in the forehead with it, and then gave me a kick in the ass for good measure lol. definitely felt the vibrations, trust me. but i wouldnt have it any other way.
I feel lost without my Britt, and thats only during the 30 seconds it takes to walk to the bathroom & back lol. And what a great thing, to make a song that makes me think about all of that, with a smile.
Automatic Fav! lol seriously tho, bout time u got here, kid. Im glad ur mingling and spreading the love, its just as important as gettin love, if not more so. I cant wait til The Last Hurrah gets uploaded, they aint ready for that! lol love ya dude - Aaron
I had no idea wat to expect as those drums started marching. But it turns out I couldnt have expected it anyway - Ive not heard much of anything quite like this. In the best way. There are some nice effects and catchy melodic elements that really compliment your voice, which is also unique. Im glad this got remastered, I love experiencing music I missed over the years when it pops back up. Im glad i pushed play on this one, I have some friends that i want to show this to, as well. Really well done, you and Mickey both. - Aaron aka Pnnywze of the Monzder Squadd

Micky definitely gave it a fun vibe. I'm hoping to offer some more acapellas for everyone soon. You guys are so talented and delightful.
Listening to this one again made me reflect on the history the original version has - Music Written by stevie wonder, Vocals written by Smokey. Probably my favorite song of his. U have to have confidence to the moon to even attempt a version of your own. Yet u did, and its well done and stands on its own merit. That deserves a favorite, my friend.
Yes, I know the story of the song too... Stevie had finished writing the music but no lyrics. Then he apparently presented the recording to Berry Gordy at a Motown party and he gave it to Smokey who then wrote the lyrics. The lyrics fit the music so closely it's a joy, isn't it? I was lucky that everything went so smoothly the day I recorded it... I usually take weeks to do a track... this one was done in two days. Ha.
Thank you for listening and for your encouragement (because trust me, I was scared shitless to release this).
Poetic Justice - Those words dont refer to some kind of judgement in a courtroom. what It means here is harmony between artsists, and working to elevate one another - doing so beautifully by each another, in this case. Paul, u always find a way to fit with watever style ur currently adapting to in your collaborations. I dont know how u do it, because thats not easy to do. Ur shining here, man. As do VT Nights and Kay. Everyone has the right of it - Beautiful Top Tier work, and it deserves to be heard by many more. - Aaron
it is a beautiful thing indeed music, i have many ideas running round in my head, sometimes i don't get the picture im trying to paint, i over think it, i may try to much and thats to my detriment, but working with others brought sweeter rewards. most probably consider me a confident guy with a big mouth, when in reality im a quiet guy with a massive heart, the people i share with or collab are not trying to steal my thunder or my story they are just adding to it becoming part of it, then i become part of their story too, since i started in music i have made all my own decisions, put them ideas to others who like them but think another approach would be better, i don't judge that thought i go along with it, my idea for this track was rapid fast Oli seen it different, its slow.
since i been working with them my ideas have been different, as have theirs when we come together though the results speak for themselves, you don't have all the answers so my message is open up and share your ideas the results will surprise you, have faith in who you work with guys, then you all grow together, there is no i in team. its about us. thanks for a great review bro, we all appreciate you
no one is doing stuff like this around here in my area, that is 100rtain....is it the meatpuppets im thinking of? or the flaming lips? silverchair? shit idk lol
maybe the spirit of all of them, a little bit
ha, defies categorization lol. xstokes (Michael) a year or two ago, thought the instrumental version was in the vein of tom verlaines instrumental records. Not sure cause I don't know his music really, but stokes was often pretty on the money.
I was wondering, as i heard this again, wtf is it that it reminds me so strongly of? I Think Mr.Driver down there is on the right track, but its even more specific for me - like it reminds me of a time i used to go and hear bands play every Friday night, in my teen years, right before i started playing shows myself. Its not a feeling i get often, but its awesome. Im neglecting part of my musical past, and this gave me a smack for it lol. i think maybe another experiment for me is slowly brewing. Thanks to how unique u guys are.
Hey Aaron, I can honestly say I don't set out to make different or weird stuff, it's just what comes out. I'd like to make something that doesn't sound like me, but it's hard lol. Thanks for coming back mate. I'm quite excited about that track I have you but can't see having much time to work on it for the next week or three. Ciao.
Simply beautiful. The only thing i was connected to for a moment was the music that was just playing, & im a little sad its over lol. But thats what the best music does. I hope i can hold a listener even half as a much as you can, my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Pnnywze....sorry I did not respond sooner.....I of course appreciate your words and definitely have other things I want to share if you have the time to check them out.....I need the music as much as the need to breathe, it powers me even when im not playing....but that's just me. Thank you for your time.
Well, guys, 1st I wanted to say that Im glad u two have teamed up they way u have, ur like the Fantastic 2 instead of the Fantastic 4 loml. U really compliment one another well, and I remember having that thought a few times in the past, that u guys should be working together.
Secondly, LMAO idk wat to say man. Its just too singular an experience to be able to say anything. And Ive just expect that when i see who is behind the track Im listening to. And to be able to make me smile, as well? Good shit both of you, seriously. I wish very much that I could come join u and show u how This American Dude does wake & bake, and have a jam session afterwards, i dont get to have a gargage band-like experience very much these days, & i kno exactly how it would feel - Fkn awesome. Much Love man. - Aaron
Yeah man, stoner garage band alright. That would be a hoot, to wake n bake with you one day....Did a nice colab with Manuela the other day too, called Starman. I played a bit more lead guitar on that track you're maybe mucking with by the way. But haven't edited it yet.
I dont think anything can stop u at this point ny friend. I dont think anything can stop any of us bcuz of how strong we are when we unite. U can work with anyone, man. Thats true versatility. So part one of 13 Ghostz is up, part 2 is next, and ur vocals really shine in it man, i cant wait for everyone to hear it. Keep the fire going bro.
bro your words are so nice, the whole point of our Discord was to encourage collabs, and we are certainly doing that, im making new contacts and listening to some great tracks too, ive listened to all the others and im looking forward to part 2, Vintage Nights is doing one with my vox and im just starting one with Darren, like you say aint no stopping us, Ollie & Jerry lol
Man i always really enjoy songs from u guys. Itd be hard not to, im a music nerd and so i hear all the subtle things your tracks are full of, and even tho u definitely have your own sound, no 2 songs sound alike. Great stuff, as always. - Aaron
Hey Aaron - Oli will love reading that! Thank you so much for your kind words - it is always good to know one's effort is rewarded with joy to others ;) Kay
