on JUST LIKE HONEY - RABBER VERSION by rabbersound
Without studio monitors i had issues with sounds in post production. esp bass lines, which alot of times caused me to completely redo those parts. Its hard to say what something will sound like on different sound systems and headphones, so instinct played a huge role. All my equipment is being held together by duct tape and prayers at this point so Ill eventually be in that situation again. This one shouldnt be a huge deal tho. Its crazy hearing so many versions of this

oh....oh no....not you too, Paul.
I will now spend the rest of the evening in mourning, calls will be forwarded to voicemail.

Well, I'm joking (Mostly) but I will be honest with you, as I always am - U dont and will not ever need A.I. in your music, my friend. The sad truth that almost everyone glosses over is this - This A.I. "assisted" tech will only be needed by the millions of kids and young men and women who have no musical inclination whatsoever but have been convinced by shady ass companies like Cymatics that they have a future in music and will be rich in 90 days or less....as long as they use this A.I. horseshxt and spend $300 on every generic and useless Production suite that they release every 3 or 4 weeks. That is why we already have a hard time being heard when we truly deserve to be - we exist in an exhausting flood of A.I. assisted mediocrity that is being pushed by those poor souls that have been scammed, and it's at the expense of you, and me, and DanMed, and KayOs, and RitaJustRita, Flat2Forge, Valvedriver. Rabber Sound, Anthony Attard, Darren Hirst, Cyberflares, and all the other beautifully talented folks that Ive grown to love and respect over the years. As u know, I was once part of a record label called Rave Music, out of Poland....and I am no longer. what is happening now is a huge part of why I parted ways with the label, and left the easy path and chose the long and difficult path instead. I was shown a glimpse of the future and I did not like it. I only wish that i could protect all of you guys from it, you are deserving of better.
anyway, you rule Paul. Love u man. Sorry for the rant.

Aaron your rant is fine, it wont be happening again AI is not creative, it was all my stuff and it was just a try but it is not the journey I will take again, it feels like cheating even tho I only used it as a resource, it was lazy on my part. I will get rid of it once I master my next. Hopefully in the next couple of days, I didnt get in to music to use AI your right, Im better than that and yes I feel like I let everyone down so give me the stick and beat me with it, this will never happen again I assure you. Ive just purchased the FL KEYS 61 midi but have to wait for delivery 2 fuckin months I can get it in 5-7 days for extra 50 quid, Ill just wait tho it only cost £177. And it integrates seamlessly with FL Studio plug it in and it sets it all up for ya apparently but Im looking forward to using it, the reviews are excellent, the one flaw is it has a tiny screen but thats not a deal breaker cos Ill just be using my laptop screen anyway

on We are Legends - feat Ashes and Dreams by fanisatt
Man...what a fire vocal piece. and that is only of any significance if it is surrounded by music of similar quality. U know what your strengths are, and your limitations. That is a weapon for an intelligent person. Bravo Brother. I sent u a link to like 90% of all the MIDI packs ive ever made. I expect that you will discover alot of quality in what is contained in them, as well as new possibilities for yourself. Here's to the New year and the possibilities it may bring.

on Vamos A Bailar by DanMed
Thats Spanish for "Im Drunk so Ive got temporary dancing ability"

The only issue is "ability" is only a loose definition - where Im from, the phrase mostly means falling, stepping all over your dance partner, temporary deafness combined with inability to speak without shouting, and in rare cases, dance floor vomiting.
Especially if this song were playing - only the greatest of dance tracks can bring this level of humiliation upon the common club rabble. 11 out of 10, recommend, would use again.

Most of this is a joke Lol. The part that says Greatest of Dance Tracks is not a joke. U have leveled up, dont forget to spend your experience points.
DanMed
DanMed replied 28th Dec 2025 - 2 months ago
I just googled let's dance on spanish, but thats only way for me to dance anyway. To be drunk. lol
Thank you, for your kind words, much appreciated. :)

I wouldn't fret too much about the percieved value of your $150 guitar. I have an expensive Dean Dime from 2008 and I have a blue Washburn i bought at a thrift store last year. Wanna take a guess on which one I have used for 97.3 % of my songs that feature a real guitar? Hint: It is the one whose sound I like alot more than the other. It rhymes with Poshfern.

on Between Breath and Strings - YogeshST by YogeshST
Its a pretty good track. Its not trap though. The closest genre tag here that fits is Experimental. The mix is ok, and there are some pretty inviting elements. The vocals are not really my cup of tea, but they fit this song perfectly. I would reclassify it, you will likely reach more listeners that way.
YogeshST
YogeshST replied 29th Dec 2025 - 2 months ago
Thanks a lot @Pnnywze for the detailed feedback. I agree about the genre and will reclassify it as Experimental. Glad the mix and elements worked for you, I will keep improving. __ Happy new year :) __

on Crackity Crack by Zootman
Ive figured out part of why these songs are so awesome...its those drum intros, sometimes accompanied by a little feedback, and a touch of grit. I KNOW if I was hearing and seeing this live, there would be at LEAST one huge MF with a Pantera shirt on and an empty beer can in his hand, just watching....but twitching with the barely controlled urge to start a mosh pit. lol. This one could have easily transitioned into a song like that...but Mr. Pantera needed to go get another beer anyways. Trust me, he'll be back lol.

The simplicity here is actually complex, and full. And yes, that IS a true statement lol
Zootman
Zootman replied 28th Dec 2025 - 2 months ago
Hi there dude. Ha, yeah I like my drum intros, I reckon it makes it sound more 'live'. Which this was really, as all the guitars are just one take jams with minimal edits. I could probably develop it I think, maybe let it take off into something full on guitar, but doubt I'll get around to that lol. Have a good New Year man, see you on the other side. Cheers Chris/

on End Game by Mindway
The similarities between this and a track I just produced for my group are uncanny. Ill just say I like it ALOT man.

I know the genre tags we have here are often not very accurate, and that is especially true here. Im saying this for a reason so bear with me - This is NOT trap, by either definition that Ive come to understand over the years. Its definitely not the drug slangin hoe pimpin american bando variety that I grew up with, nor is it the wonky wubby EDM inspired dubstep and Future Bass adjacent variety, either. And that is a very good thing. Over the last year Ive been honing a specific style for my group's (The Monzder Squadd) releases, a heavy metal, industrial and Trap Blend that is distinct from Trap Metal as it is meant to have alot of original vocal pieces and several transitions. Anyway, I say all that bcuz this song here comes very close to some of the material ive done over the last year. Much of it is still on my page if u want to hear exactly what I mean. Well done man. Please Check your email soon

on RABBER X PNNYWZE by rabbersound
Hello My friend - That was quite the introduction for me, Thank u from my very soul for that. I truly wish my mom was around to see it, She believed in me long before anyone else, including myself. I cant recall a time when ive gotten higher praise than that. whew.
Alright now, back to the song. Im a bit torn - The intro build up is dope, it almost makes me want to go back and add an intro and rhythmic build to my version lol.
One observation is that There is alot of lowend without any headroom, IDK if u plan to address that directly as youre working on different parts of the song, or if you have other plans for them. I do like most of the deep and low sections. There are many small but interesting things that you have added.....Lastly, despite the major changes you made to everything, i feel the connection between my version and yours deeply, man. i think they could be blended together quite easily and no one would be able to tell the pieces apart. Well done my friend.
rabbersound
rabbersound replied 27th Dec 2025 - 2 months ago
I'm telling you, you're telling me about the connection between mine and yours, and after listening to yours again, I realize that perhaps I haven't worked on your stems enough yet, or having used most of them, some are just them, like the drums, which, aside from a few small rhythmic variations, I haven't even touched in EQ yet (not that there's any need, but in general I always tweak the frequencies to give them my sound, even if sometimes it's technically wrong, but fuck it, it's my sound). As for the low-frequency mix, of course, I'm still working on it, and it's not like me to fix the mix at the end or afterward; I always do it while adding each sound. and that's also why I'm telling you that working on your stems I got a bit strange at a certain point, almost as if I were composing with your style, in the sense that your stems are multipurpose, they can be connected to any other loop or melodies that I would never finish a track so much that I can continue and continue... I'll write to you in the next few days with the final version.

on It is a New Year by RichardShekari
Hello Richard - I hope you and yours have had a great Holiday.
You always find a new message to create your music about, even though its connected to the Greater Message. And the message is always relevant. When it comes to letting go of yesterday, many of us struggle. Even the best of us. It truly helps to have music like this to help those wayward souls find their way. Thanks for sharing my friend

I like the overall weirdness of this one. The vocals are bit too loud, and those drums are a bit too quiet. With a few minor adjustments such as those, you have a nice start to a pretty good track here

The fade in from the distorted glitches in the beginning was pretty dope. All thats missing for me is maybe some keys, some distorted single notes to start each bar, at least. But thats just what my producer ear tells me, Its perfectly fine as is.
