the filth is definitely present..but there is also an efforless chillness to the track that is refreshing. that wobble is king shyte, tho - especially during the break -...very "move out the way" vibe. great drum work, as well.
loves it!

yeah i love jammin filthy dubstep, just cant seem to put it to track well. ima softie when it comes to producing dubstep lol. it took me a while to get the wobble exactly the way i wanted to be. not too mushy, good flow. thanks for the kind words O.D.
when i get more time, ill check out your new stuff!

i think this piece is dying for some naughty sub/bass work to give it some weight in a break..something that will also allow for some great drops back into the sick wobble work youve got goin on.
really dug what youve got so far..nice work!

this is solid work.
great piano, strings and pad work, all nicely arranged. nice production value as well. good variation in your drum patterns. dug the organy-synth bell sound you incorporated, as well..made for a nice transition from the main melody.
well done!

..i see..so you can download the free track offered by a generous looperfam...but you cant leave a review?
shady.
you took a pretty chill vox and went all dark with it, and i really liked the juxtoposition. your wobbles are prgressing quite nicely. drum work is on point as well. nice arrangement and overall production value.
good job!

what a lovely ambient dubstep youve created here. i really got lost in the lull of the flutes...perfectly juxtoposed with a surprisingly unobtrusive wobble. production value was spot on. really nice work here.
great job!

on misshin wabbit - my remix by DJNightstorm
ugh, i abhor seeing a frequently downloaded track with no reviews. its bordering on disrespectful! lol
this track has such creativity. your wobbles are intense in all teh right ways. love how much you had fun with their melody variations. great sounding simple drums to accompany the synths...as well as well placed sfx thru out. suburb cutting of the fud vox. overall, a really well constructed piece.
nice work!

on Key Lime Pie - Revisited by NtaT
your synth work is naughty on this track. i also enjoyed your cutting work..quite creative and makes the piece so much fun to listen to. youve also got some great variations on your wobbles, which i dig.
..showed great production skill..well done!

hey i'm glad u like it! I think i'm gonna go back and change out that hi-pass wobble that jumps in in the very first verse for something that uhh... idunno sounds a bit better... anyway, I think u commented on my original version oh so long ago, what do you think of the new part at the end?

i likey.
if this was one of your first attempts at MCing, i would love to hear what you can do mow...cause this was solid.
and i agree that the beat is naughty.
..i adore your voice.
;)

:: the "when" is so often irrelevant...just THAT you found your talent is the important thing. ::
**lol everyone calls me "man" and "brah" and "dude" on here..i hardly notice it anymore**

phantomhim replied Unknown
Thanks man, yeah, MCing is the one thing in music I don't have to bang my head against a brick wall to get good at. It's just a shame I didn't realise that until I tried it last year.
: )

Ah, OK. I just realised you're female! I was thinking "this guys friendly!" Didn't mean to be calling you man and such. Thanks for taking the time to review and reply. Much appreciated. If you think I'm an alright MC check out my tracks up here called Blacklisted and Floating Castle got a couple of the best NY underground rappers featured on them that put me to shame. Thanks again.

i secretly envy those who say a really well put together piece is their first attempt at a genre.
youre keys are divine, as previously stated by almost everyone. the drums are solid..the bass is on point..the wobble is nicely used.
great first attempt..well done!

thanks so much oasis. its not my first dubstep, one of my first(think this is my 3rd one total) but the other two were garbage, and i didnt really spend time on them either. this one i took time to lay everything out. appreciate the review, thanks for listening :)

mmhmm.
massive.
your synths are in total seek and destroy mode...laying waste to everything in their path.
none will be saved.
i can dig it.

on Closed In by Zooloo75
pieces taht come from us in transitions of consciousness - coming out of a sleep or going into one - always seem to have that lil something special that cannot be duplicated in a complete awakened state.
i agree that some low end bass would really add a nice sense of weight to the piece..but i love your drums and sfx elements. really neat piece.
nice work!

I find that to be completely true, I tend to make music way better at night when I'm tired for some reason.
Thanks for the review.

its been an absolutely joy to hear your evolution as an artist.
i have never met you, yet still feel an odd sense of pride when i listen to your newest piece. your comfort and confidence are finally beginning to emmerge, and thats always an exciting time for an artist because its when the real artistic risks can be taken.
love the arrangement of this track...and im sure you already know i wish it were a bit longer. however, your wobble, sfx accents and traditional instrumental flavoring thruout really bring this piece to a new level...the blissful beauty and bellicose bustle of Bengal lol.
kudos, brother.
really nice work..

on Spirit by KomlinK
...gotta love a massive drop...
i like how you took your time with the buildup.
whether or not there is enough wobble is arbitrary; what is more important to me is the individual elements of the piece, and how well theyre mastered and placed. your synth work is great..drums are great..piano is great...wobble ends up almost becoming a vox elemet of sorts, which is cool to me...great mini breaks and drops thruout. my only criticism is i think it could use a bit of..weight?..in the form of a meatier bass, one that perhaps simply accpmpanies the core synth melody for a bit after your drops.
this piece was a pleasure to enjoy either way...
great work!
KomlinK
KomlinK replied Unknown
Thanks for the review, great to see someone really think about it as well. I see what you mean about the weight and I will definitely go back and see about adding some bass to go with the synth after the drops.

on Robot Day (Day 1-The Plan) by SonicKDT
this piece screams industrail cinematic to me..adn i ADORE that pairing. you have certainly painted quite a vivid picture of artificial chaos and elation. you have such beautiful control over your synths and fx accents...all perfectally placed adn rendered. production value is spot on.
can we expect this piece to be a trilogy of sorts?
im dying to hear what the 3rd day sounds like...
;)
nice work!

on Gobstopper by Chud37
..well, thats delightfully odd, as i just evoked the great wonka in my last review..
your work is always so very seamless. it, too, has a whimsy similar to wonkas; biting wit that leaves you confused and excitied. amazing cutting on this one...and your synth work is divine, as usual.
..can everyone else see the oompas marching along right around the 230 mark?
cause i can.
'spose it could be the mescaline...
no matter..i end as i began. delightfully odd.
well done!

Chud37 replied Unknown
lol yeah, i forgot about the oompa loompa's, I do love them, if only i could get an acapella of them! wouldnt that be amazing. Anyway, it is nice an odd, a style i havent really used before, im glad you picked up on it. Thanks for the review! :)

..bit of a tourist bus ride goin thru the inner workings of your grey matter, innit? just like the Wonka ride, this one takes a lil detour..gets us temperarily lost in the resesses on your main frame..and just when the panic begins to mount, a light in the distance lets us know we have come full circle...and all is well. what a ride!

first attempt?
..ppssshhtt..
outstanding.
youve got an intriguing wobble that showed skill and control..and when dropped, so very seductively slithers itself around my waist and beckons me to slink with it. great transitions, use of vox, simple yet effective beat...and solid overall production value. i hope you will be doing more pieces in the dubstep genre..cant wait to hear that wobble evolve...
kudos!

that drop is sick. but i dont think the gun shot is necessary. thats just an insignificant personal preference, tho...
loved your cutting and use of the film samples.
and im actually gonna agree with dv8 [ONLY in relation to this specific track, tho]; that the wobble is a tad much on this one. dont get me wrong...i love it...i just think it overpowers the piece. think of a dish with just a tad too much salt: salt's good...brings out the flavors in a dish, but just a pinch too much and the dish becomes really hard to digest.
but the drums on this are killer. and i really like the arrangement of the piece. solid production value, as well.
nice job!

interesting use of the vox sample. that deep DEEP wobble is scary..in a goodo way. im listening to it on some good headphones right now, but id lvoe to really feel in my speakers at home. this is a good start to a track teeming with potential. keep it up!
