Thanks alot man! i use fruity loops studio its got a plugin called hardcore. I add it in as an effect for the bassline chanell. Basically from then you can adjust distortion, filters, noise gate, high mids and lows, what i did with this was add a little reverb and wack up the distortion, theres a few nobs for the distortion effects so you gotta try and balance them out. You dont need fruity loops though you can get loads of free distortion vst for your sequencer. I love dub but the hardest thing is the bass, unless you can afford ni massive or albino. Also you can get some good sounds from itchy synths and there free, google em. peace out!

yeh i feel u, but at the same time producers got bills to pay. if somebody want to pay u for a commercial track and u have the skill to make one for them, u be a fool not to do it. thats my opinion on that!!!

Yeah, I think I need to give more to recieve more.

The CPU shouldn't be a problem after Christmas, getting a new computer should help with a bit of luck.

I think I can help. A pad is just a type of synth. A pad usually has a slower attack. A pad is often played in chords to build the progression of a song. They often have sweeping effects on them like filters or flangers. I hope this helps a little bit!

Hi mate..well I use Ableton as my main DAW..but I get my keyboard sounds from...well,literally dozens and dozens of software synths..Omnisphere,all of EWQL's range,Absynth,etc,etc and a few old Hardware synths as well,Yamaha DX7...Korg M1..Most of my playing is done on Bass and Guitar though,my primary instruments...thanks for your great review!..cheers planet :)
