*["11MORE REVIEW]*

This has a real urban feel with electro, the paino fits so well into the groove and that sound FX that comes after the paino is like wine with cheese on chill out day.

good work as always

on The Singularity by NoisicRecords
i just made a glitch mix with Dnb myself but im feeling this one for sure.but DAMN eight days to finish i probably would of made somthing else by then and quit the song atogether LOL

PS how do you make that sped up glitch sound at 2:45 and 3:05 need to know in detail please thanks

NoisicRecords
NoisicRecords replied Unknown
If you use ACID, just copy and paste what you want to roll/glitch, then chop it up [divide it] in 1/2 to 1/4 to 1/8 to 1/16th, place 2 or 4 parts of the 1/2, 8 or 16 of the 1/4, 16 or 32 of the 1/8th, and so forth. Just simple math, then REVERSE everything, meaning whatever you did (as far as chopping) go backwards, 1/8 to 1/4 to 1/2.

*["RAUNCH" REVIEW]*

I can explain this one dope has hell this track reminded of my FL days and also that harp like melody too.I love saying this but the track has great video game element to it with an unsafe theme.

i see you been in a hip hop state to be honest i left hip hop becasue of the offensive words(and this is coming form a 24yr old)but i can dig an instrumental like this might DL it to hear if my cousin can rap it he's really good.

in closing nice track

im actually in a state of no production right now... i have been putting up older pieces for feedback in the hopes i can tweak them a bit more to my [and everyone's] liking. i think my ecclectic library speaks for itself; i dont stick to only one genre. i do, however, like them all and love trying to learn the ins and outs of each of them.
i would suggest listening to other types of hip hop [especially those without lyrics lol] before leaving behind the entire genre, but you seem to be pretty set in your likes and dislikes of more popular forms of music. and thats ok. i just think you might be missing out on some really talented artists.
as always, your opinions and listens are greatly appreciated!

Thanks DJNoSleeves! Greatly appreciate you for coming by and listening and providing some great words! Means allot. Thanks.

About the way it as done: Basically, about 90% of the track was done in Reason. The drums using Redrum first to create a few loops, then the loops thrown back in using DrRex and NNXT. The bass-lines were all done using Subtractor (some rendered and thrown into NNXT) as well as some of the SFX sections and pads. The distortions were done in parts using Scream for some things like the intro as well as the scratchy vinyl sounds and also for some of the SFX. To achieve a few different effects of the distortions I passed different sections of the audio files in Scream using different Body and Damage types. The piano and choir were done in Sonar using Rewire and also several sections cut and passed through several distortion units with different parameters. Some distortions, specifically the "harsh" ones I used a waveshaper. To accomplish the panning and distortions on certain parts these were basically done by cutting sections and effecting them, then throwing the sections back using a few phasers in sequence. For some things I used a delay with short delay times (in the ms), especially for that "metallic" sound in certain areas. The glitch effects were done by two different methods: using NNXT and cutting/pasting of audio files. Allot of things were sequenced, then rendered, affected and then re-rendered and brought back in. I think allot of it was mainly just experiments of ideas and it all turned out pretty good.

Thanks again for the listen!

man i bet it feels good to get this one out wow four hours on music production i think i would gave up on the second hour LOL
but the song came out good.you seem to be able to do a lot in FL than me,im using sonar 8,reason 4 and ableton 8 so FL gets left behind somtime.

Im a die hard FL producer. I use ableton 7 for all my live sampling. 4 hours on a track is what I normally put in when Im producing. Thanks for the support and input!!

good track altough i think this would go better in a video game instead of a car chase sence.your right about the repeative part but i think you'll work on it and maybe try some fliter effects to get a little left hook feel.
