the self-righteous reactionary right needs more articulate indictments like this - if only one hears it and thinks twice it would make a difference - fight the fundamentalist everywhere - much respect
pmk - you kill me with that outro! what a great live vibe on this - don't let Erik fully replace your voice - it is so perfect on this! maybe you two can play Kieth and Mick with the vox! is that E on background vox here? Anyway, for me it is the singing that really makes this go!
Hehe, that's Allen having fun with his Telecaster. Thanks for you enthusiastic words, I appreciate the rev very much. And maybe we night just share the vocals, me and Erik. The song is still a draft, so...we'll see where this goes. /pmk
i am digging the late night feel - the sound of a door slamming and footsteps might finish? like a poker game gone too wrong - great playing, great looping, great track - much respect
hello - i dunno A3 from a hole in the ground, but this is got such a cool soundvibe! like being at a fair or festival with music and carnies barking from every side and a band blasting away - solos rolling down the hills, catching snatches in the wind(do not get me wrong), sun and sensory overload. really effective soundscaping, much respect!
Thanks from us both! Glad to hear someone commenting on the CONTENT of what I'm saying... most people don't pay that close attention.
All props to dungbeatl on the beat I just sent the raw vox and let him do all the work!
ah, man that horror burned my brain forever too - much admiration for this track - the poetry and performance - it is mindful and hard and real - much respect and somehow somehow somehow art helps heal outrage and sorrow - peace and thanks brother
a warm look at the cold vastnesses... don't know if i'm completely off my nut but there's a bit of john lennon - a great atmosphere with heart at the centre of that empty place - much respect
perfectly captures our times - aid for the rich, the awful apologist line from the world governments "first we must save the banks" - this track is fire and the controlled burning is power - we need protest songs like this - true, necessary, and rocking.
all respect, V
Thank you, Michael. I appreciate that you enjoyed my words. Music is a unique vehicle for protest and must be done. We have RockAndRoll attitude, rebellion and protest. The only thing that they can not take away are our thoughts, the rest ... we never have.
Ay, mi amigo ... Thank you very much. I never do, but this time I was waiting to see if you liked this song.
i love how you've treated yr sounds and the flow is totally right on! man a little more dynamics / tension would send me OTT - great music-making and all respect!
Thanks mick! i'm still experimenting with all the features of my sequencer and synths so maybe i will re do this track eventually so it flows like a river and rips into the basslines
much much appreciation for your songwriting + perf - there are some barlow or gbv comparisons, but this is so much more down to earth and less contrived - and just true. all respect
a picture of bitterness, regret, is there any redemption for this guy - i don't think so. sad, effective, rocking collab - very bittersweet beauty - respects to you both
There is no redemption. Just walk and walk. Blow by blow. Verse by verse. Thank you very much for listening to the song and for your feedback. Our respect for you, my friend Michael.
looking at a building where there used to be a mountain... ah, it is a great and wistful feel on this track - really dig how that lead walks out the window and back to the high places
Thanks Micheal for the rev and the fav. I think music is a really cool eay to transmit emotion pictures and scenes. I think you understand this track without anderstanding a single word of the lyrics – I got the the idea of this song looking out my third floor window. Thanks again
/pmk
must echo Wayne's thoughts - the tension and interplay between the instruments really work and the vocal performance and lyrics make for pretty happy contemplations of not very happy states of being.
that's pop in my opinion - always thanks and love for your music, my friend!!
i am loving it too - very hard to tell but sounds like there was some very subtle cutting / editing going on (beyond the obvious).
i don't know the language but the sound is joyous - much respect.
