perfectly captures our times - aid for the rich, the awful apologist line from the world governments "first we must save the banks" - this track is fire and the controlled burning is power - we need protest songs like this - true, necessary, and rocking.
all respect, V
Thank you, Michael. I appreciate that you enjoyed my words. Music is a unique vehicle for protest and must be done. We have RockAndRoll attitude, rebellion and protest. The only thing that they can not take away are our thoughts, the rest ... we never have.
Ay, mi amigo ... Thank you very much. I never do, but this time I was waiting to see if you liked this song.
i love how you've treated yr sounds and the flow is totally right on! man a little more dynamics / tension would send me OTT - great music-making and all respect!
Thanks mick! i'm still experimenting with all the features of my sequencer and synths so maybe i will re do this track eventually so it flows like a river and rips into the basslines
much much appreciation for your songwriting + perf - there are some barlow or gbv comparisons, but this is so much more down to earth and less contrived - and just true. all respect
a picture of bitterness, regret, is there any redemption for this guy - i don't think so. sad, effective, rocking collab - very bittersweet beauty - respects to you both
There is no redemption. Just walk and walk. Blow by blow. Verse by verse. Thank you very much for listening to the song and for your feedback. Our respect for you, my friend Michael.
looking at a building where there used to be a mountain... ah, it is a great and wistful feel on this track - really dig how that lead walks out the window and back to the high places
Thanks Micheal for the rev and the fav. I think music is a really cool eay to transmit emotion pictures and scenes. I think you understand this track without anderstanding a single word of the lyrics – I got the the idea of this song looking out my third floor window. Thanks again

must echo Wayne's thoughts - the tension and interplay between the instruments really work and the vocal performance and lyrics make for pretty happy contemplations of not very happy states of being.
that's pop in my opinion - always thanks and love for your music, my friend!!
i am loving it too - very hard to tell but sounds like there was some very subtle cutting / editing going on (beyond the obvious).
i don't know the language but the sound is joyous - much respect.
Ah, Vudu - heart soul groove rising - this is a gift and thank you for that, brother - it's a cool and warm mix keeping the voice + guitar close up front that really makes the drumming resound - as always, much much respect
ps - could do with translation - i get mine from the vibe but i know i'm missing the whole poem - peace
Hey Mike, so you think it works (keeping the guitar and vocals up front)? I wasn't sure, but just wanted more musical ears to take a listen. thanks a million my brother! appreciate the love. much respect, peace
really grooving with the lyrics and perf - great music, matching the vocal hooks perfectly - if i hadda namecheck it'd be Mekons at their more dubby moments - but this is all it's own - much respect
Thanks a lot man, I had been humming this melody the past few weeks in the shower (where most of my ideas originate oddly), it's just producing those ideas to sound as you hear them in your head that can be tricky. I think I got pretty close with this one though, just need to add a few little tweaks. Glad you liked it :)
i love the playing + sound on this track - i'm glad you shared this track - there's a really private/personal vibe here that's pretty dang cool - ah, but i imagine everything - listening to music helps...
dig the immediacy (if that's a word) - the drumming!!! - the way this plays has a great live feel to it - edgy stuff - sounds like a musician and not a 'producer' if y'know what i mean and sounds perfect that way
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I definitely got the 'live' feeling as well while i was making this. It would be epic to have this synched with a live band! - oh, and HMNN's loop was totally responsible for the drumming awesomenss :)
