Unbelievable, that hit me right in the heart!Everyone is right it is a beautiful piece. That one was right from the soul man, your a hell of a guitar player. One of my favs.I always dug acoustic pieces, heres hopin for more!
Hey Jim,thanks. If there's a downside to playing something unscripted and unrehearsed is that it's hard for me to just do that regularly on acoustic because I don't play it as often. These kind reviews are cause to keep pulling it out of the case though. Now you and kikajon seem to have found your way back...in reference to your song!
Allen, man that was great, absolutely love the bass, and your guitar is great as usual. It felt like the 70's,real natural not forced.
and by the way man, thanx for your comments, means a lot to us!
Thank you Jim.You know thats one thing about comeing from the 70's,it kinda comes through in your music. It did feel like putting on those old bell bottoms...they may not fit any more but you can still remember when they did!
Another rockin tune, smokin guitars at the beginning, and a great solo! The previous reviewer John has a good point about doubling the vocs. You impress me more and more with each track, great guitar vocs and lyrics.
Excellent! You have a great thing going with ChrisCharles, keep em coming.I really like the mix, definitely a different kind of feel.
The vocals are strong and have great effects on them, subtle yet substantial.Great lyrics too.Great job down the home stretch of the song,I dig the way everything meshes with the vocals.
This is really really good!I like the drums just as they are and the piano sets the mood. Some choice guitar,it really draws you in.If you ever look for some vocals check some of my vocals out(some tracks with Kikajon-a great guitar player).Keep em comin great music!
Yo man this is really well done!I dig the way you change directions right off the bat early in the track.Nice heavy drums and excellent guitar work. This is cryin for vocals, something heavy but not screamed!
Hey Allen this is one hell of a great track man!And I definately can relate to what your saying as far as this being a learning process.I'm impressed with how you played off of the piano, eveything fit together really well.I have a ton of loops myself and am nervous as all hell to try and fit them all together and post them here.I know I have a lot to learn. But I dig the way this song came together for you.
Thank's alot Jim.It took me a month solid...I knew nothing,I had to get my son to show me how to load the loops in FL and make it do what it does, and that was just a month ago.I was trying to use a beat the other day and had to call him and ask how to load the sample...again!It's gettn' better though and I'm having a great time.I told you before, you gotta a great voice and I think you could do whatever you want here.
Allen
Lady you have one hell of a voice! You have your own style, and to me that says a lot these days.Nice lyrics, excellent music, and I can relate to the hurt.
This is really a great track man, really impressed with both the guitar and piano!I also liked the way you guys closed out the song.I do have to agree that maybe the guitar could be just a little more prominent, but I'm no expert and I'm sure you just didn't wanna put out front too much.Great guitar playing!
Thanks Tacatta!9Rihter gets all credit for piano and everything but guitars.I did try raising the guitar after we posted and it just didn't work,it became a different song. The leads have a ton of delay that I can't take off now,my bad...lesson learned...and when you turn them up it sounds way too busy for this song.I almost didn't play any lead at all, just thickened it up,the piano melody from 9Rihter was so nice.when I got his track it was like Wow,how can I play with this and not change a thing! The short reply is your right,I didn't wanna put too much out front and I am not gonna sacrifice the song for my guitar.
Thanks again for listening and you should be doin'some more rockin'tracks...I wanna play guitar on Kashmir and i'm callin' it first!
I really liked it Bri.The contrast of the sweet sounding keys versus the heavier guitar almost paints a picture! And I can dig what your saying about the choices we make.
Hey thanks Tacatta for stoping by and reviewing the track! thanks for your kind words and glad you enjoyed it. yeah, how true the choice we made makes all the differance in what happens in the future.
I really dig the way you laid out this track, excellent guitar work as on all your tracks. The bass could stand to be a little more out front, and maybe something a little different with the drums but overall a great track!
thnx a lot dude. :d ım trying best ı can.ı have few problems wıth mixing cause ım new in using mıxıng and editing section :d each day im learning more :D
I really dig your playing style! I remember David Gilmour From PinkFloyd saying he tries to make the guitar sing when he plays, to me you've done that on this song! Thanks.
Thanks for the compliment and kind words man. I do have a love for Pink Floyd. It's funny because I used to listen to them alot when I was younger, and I never really stopped listening to them, I just grew to have other musical role models that I liked an wanted to sound like. Funny things is, when playing from the heart, I usually do thinks that are Pink Floydish on the guitar. I think the bluesy rock sound is stuck in my soul. Its a good thing I suppose.
Well man don't know if I'm qualified to review or judge anyone, but I guess I can offer my opinion. I think the guitar work is very good , though I think maybe you could have went a different direction with the drums. The recording itself seems mixed pretty well to me.I like the chorus especially the but I can't let go.
I hope this helps, and I don't seem to critical.Especially since I haven't uploaded anything myself yet.
