you guitar playing is so expressive, its like emotion translated to music. As others have said here a beautiful piece of music!
And thanx Allen for for your kind words.
Thanks for your voice Jim,I couldn't have asked for a nicer vocal...Oh,I let the emotion in your vocal lead the way and the guitar was done in 30min after I got the tone that I thought would work, that takes longer than playing it!
Thanks again!
Allen, That was some spectacular ripping. And man I gotta say Nashville's loss was our gain!! Your one hell of a guitar player and I thought the mix was excellent!
Ah my friend great tune! You capture perfectly the spirit of hanging out with friends and just letting loose and having a great time!Hey, we all have rhythm when we can't stand up straight!Great vocals, the mandolin sounds great and fits perfectly, and its feelgood song!Hmm,the price you must have paid to get us this great tune!
Again you have outstanding lyrics, and the way (style) you sing this song was very good. You have a very good voice and I bet you have just scratched the surface of what your capable of doing!Just keep belting out those tunes, experimenting with stuff like effects, mics etc.and have FUN!
You have an excellent voice and the lyrics are very good!I really like the contrast of the mellow and heavy guitars, and the sound effects were a cool touch. As far as the mix levels, the more you do it the better you'll get,I have a lot to learn myself!Great job!
Allen you are gifted! Great job on the recording of the acoustic,it has such a nice sound.Beautiful work!I Thought the way you led in, and kind of faded out with the synth was a nice touch.
Thanks a lot Jim!I have a few of these acoustic ideas and am trying to add some intro/outro stuff to keep it from being just another acoustic song...there's only so much I can do with them without vocals....hmm.:)
Thank you again Jimmy and i'll talk to you soon.
Al.
Thanks, I made a mistake micking the solos though, you probably noticed the lack of punch on the solos - I got lazy and didn't lift up the amp to the level of the mics (I don't have boom-stands at home). Thats why solos sound so 'distant.' I won't make that mistake again.

Damn! You guys are a perfect compliment to each other. Both the guitar and piano were absolutely beautiful!Thats the kind of track that just takes me somewhere else.
Thank you Tacatta! It's been quite fun going from Transatlantic rock to the other end of the musical spectrum...keeps me on my toes to say the least!SpellJammer has quite a way with that smooth crisp sound.
Thanks again Jimmy,
Allen
Nice voice!Really good vocals and lyrics, maybe the drums and guitar could be a little louder in the mix but I dug it.I agree with Adam76 that it had a groovy feel to it.
Yeah, I do have a tendency to make the vocals louder than the rest of the stuff. Not intentionally though. Thanks for the suggestion, I might go back and see if I can clean it up a bit :)
Thanks for the positive review, and I do have new tracks uploaded if you'd be interested in hearing them at all.
Hey Allen, glad to see you kept your accoustic dusted off!Great tune man!It was awesome the way you just kept picking uo the pace. You definitely captured that small venue feel!
Tacatta!!Man,I just heard some vocals you gotta hear, made the hair stand up on my neck..Wait,it was you!I'm glad you liked the song...something different.Even though I love it,I was having a little rnb jet lag so I took a little break.
Thanks for the comment Jim.

I dig the concept of what your doing here.I like the vocal effects you use through the main body of this song and also on the spoken parts. The guitar sounds really great, but is a little lost in the background. And its hard to pick up all of your lyrics, but I like what I do hear.(not sure if its the effects or the mix)I'm not trying to be critical,I think your very talented.I am by no means an expert but maybe you can bring the vocals and guitar more upfront in the mix.
I appreciate your review. I have actually been trying to get better at "warming" the guitars and vocals in the mix a bit more. The fact that you have taken the time to critique the track specifically helps me to get better at trying to "perfect" the master. It really can be a daunting task but, without reviews and critique, its harder to gauge what I hear and what listeners want to hear.
Again, thank you! twd
Thank you Jim and I'm looking forward to making some new music with you and Kikijon.
Oh, and that southern song was fantastic...and that's coming from a southern florida guitar picker.
