yeh, this is a nice bit of dub. the vibe is quite interesting, quite intriguing. good tempo and a simple, effective bassline. a preferred style of mine. faved of course
cheers
Very soothing Humps.Like you, most of my tracks use only limited loops, and i find it a bit tricky to use loops exclusively on a track, so wanted to say a job well done.
I played this one while I was doing a bit of my day-job work. emotional evocation coming through nicely.
Perhaps you'll need to do more in the genre...
I'll keep watch
Thanks

ableton is massive! $99 for the intro version then $60 for a korg nano Kontroller. dub lab extraordinaire! ive only been messing with it for a few months. im really digging the instrument rack and it also has a full midi effects rack on board too. no plug ins chugging. thats why its so bomb for live flows. thanks fe da kind words! bless!
Overall I liked this track...nice afternoon-over-beers-in-the-backyard-ambience..and summers comin!
COnstructively? perhaps pull back the length of the opening bit - it's cool and sets the mood nicely, but a touch lengthy. btw good job on putting those vox to work - they fit well.
havent heard much grime before, but this was pretty kewl
the integration of that refrain (i got the power") is very interesting..gonna check out more of yur stuff.
cheers

I continue to be amazed at the talent that profiles on Looperman and this is another one of those examples. Wonderfully composed, great mood and tempo..Like Spivkurl, this will be great with a morning beverage and ofcourse after several late nite drinks too. Definitely one for the fav's.
Thanks for the listen
ps. where did you get the sweet horn sounds? luv em
Albatross Guild.
thanks for the sweet words Albatross, I used The Trumpet, a plug-in that allows you to modulate the instrument and some other samples from real trumpets records!
Nice vocals Unique tone and texture..like a likkle Joesph Hill or Don Carlos. Biggup !
live instruments (nothing beat it) - played well - good musicianship. Song structure is strong, consciousness plenty and conviction in the delivery. Foundation for all good reggae trax.
Perhaps a few horn shots cud be added..can't think of anything else brethen.
thx for the listen

Itegrator,
Just passing thru fe check your latest.
Another blinder here. Aside from the other increments, a particularly slick bass line. Respect to the RIVIERA Rockers too.
Curious to see if they'll be any Nesta Marley tributes from the Itegrator for his 65th tomorrow?
Peace

Hey Navneet, where are you getting these killer vocals from. I write some reggae/east indian fusion tracks and can;t find any.
great guitar work....could posisbly use a heavy bass line?? I don;t know - I'm just a sucker for bass.
Nice job
Very interesting track....who is Khurram, I love the voice
would love it if he'd listen to my trax and offer up some lyrics?? Good job on this. Looking forward to hearing more.
Thanks for the comment...Khurram is my friend who had recently finished his PhD in Sports psychology... he is been writing songs and Jingles as a hobbyist...rest of the information you can check on www.reverbnation.com/navneet
the mood's brilliantly captured
somethings things are best left untouched and we love the fact that this was an off-the-floor, one-take number.
nicely haunting, like a foggy evening of inebriation
Thanks from The Guild

Sweet swing to this groove. Love the transitions. Would be great to hear some vox in there and perhaps once nice drop in the middle to break things up and bring it home.
Very nice piece.
the sitar is one of my favorite instruments. i hear it in many types of modern music. THis is a beautiful piece.
I would love to have you record some sitar for some of my tracks as right now all I have are loops.
looking forward to new songs from you.
