really nice track bro.

Very mellow... nice and chilled.. do you have any effects on the kick? cause its bong'ing a little or it may just be a long overhang of the kick wave not to sure.

Thanks for sharing fella.

on Do you remember - featuring NateMonoxide by RichieWinn
Hey dude love this track sounds very polished. i really struggle to get guitar sounding good no matter how i record or what one of my guitars i use it always sounds really boxxy and poo, but youve hit the nail on the head with this. loved it.

Only thing i would do (well if your askin which your probly not, lol)
it the drums could maybe benefit from some more compression for consistency of volume and maybe layered up with sub sine or a tuned sub kick. most bands do this nowerdays.

Ta for sharing bro :)

Thanks for the comments Spudsy and the advice on the drums - appreciate it. I tend to work on the principle "less is more" so never over compress, over EQ or over effect anything. The track is unmastered too so I still have some work to do. Maybe I could send you the finished mastered track in a few weeks for your comments? I always welcome some constructive comment. Not sure about a "sub sine" or a "tuned sub kick"? First thing is I'll find out what that means and see if it's appropriate to apply. See, I'm still learning!

My guitar sound here - I'd like to say I spent hours getting it right. I didn't!! I use my Godin Xtsa through my Onyx 820i mixer and firewire straight into the iMac. Logic Pro has lots of guitar patches which I tend to simply go through one by one until I find one I like! No rocket science here just good old fashioned luck!! Glad you like it.

Thanks again for stopping by, listening and commenting.

on DJ YASSINE RODRIGEZ - LOVE IN SPAIN by DJyassinerodrigez
really nice mellow vibes here bro.. loved the feel and progression of the track. the FX could use being dropped a couple of db with a dash of reverb. i only say that because on the second play through i played the track quite loud and they were a little piercing..

did you use any loops or sample packs?

thanks for sharing bro..

on Whacha Wanna Do Now (featuring MuzicIzMee4Ever) by Brent88
Hiya bro...

nice track youve got here, vocals are very good and your choices in chord structure and arraignment are good also.

Only couple of things i could pick up on was, the vocals could use being dropped by a few Db and they can go out of time a little here n there.

Also the instrumental is mainly top with barely any low end. do you use a sub? if so it may be worth turning it down a little in case its giving you a false sense of the bass frequency's.

Also running the whole track through a mild distresser or a tape emulater would make the whole thing fit together a little more.

Thank you for sharing bro, i liked it alot ( im on my third listen :)

on THATS THE WAY by DWARREN34
awesome track fella loved it.. great melodies and choices of sounds.

Only grip i could find it that the main deep synth is taking all the headroom out the track, it could use being dropped 1-2db and having some of the mid/low mid dropped down a little.

Thanks for charing bro..

Awesome vibe here fella...

Loved it, only thing i could say is if your using ableton (which i think u are cant remember)
try changing the time stretch on the samples from beats to complex, this will give you a more even tone from the samples.
Loved it tho bro..

on Chillo by Kuya
Nice track bro only thing i could really pick up on is that all the sounds are very clean and are not gelling together. try a fairchild emulation plug in over the top of the whole mix. or some sort of tape emulator. on the drums also..

A tiny bit of reverb on the snare or layering it up with one with a slightly longer tail, would open the track width wise.

awesome chords and choice of layers.. wicked track bro :)

on Jason X Groove (Instrumental) by GrimalBeatz
Hiya fella.

Really liked this one dude. great ideas good arraignment.

The only thing i picked up on was the arps could maybe use the release being shorter, i only say that because every other sound is very sharp and they kinda end a little out of time with the rest of the sounds. they could maybe use a little side chain compression with them ducking out a little bit in time with the snare.

Loved it tho. keep up the work bro..

on Another house by SimonVHimmel
Very nice mellow track bro.

Like all the sounds, riffs.. everything really.

The only 2 criticism's i can give is

1/ probly one of the best things about the track is also one of the bad points.. it kinda plods a little.

2/ Loads of eq'ing to do on the track. there is low end sub hum eeeeverywhere. i know alot of people tend to say they will do it once its mastered but mastering wouldnt get rid of that no matter where you send it. its nothing to be with mastering, its just kinda bad house keeping if you know what i mean.(dont worry bro i do exactly the same thing and iv got a few tracks on here that are full of alot more low end rumble than yours fella)

Liked the track alot tho fella and please take what i said how it was ment. constructively.

When the bass comes in at the 1 minute mark, it is fecking awesome. im not to sure about some of the other beeps clicks and tweeks (not really my thing to be honest) it doesnt mean there bad, just a little un-tamed for me.
All in all though, if this was arranged a little better, has some more fx and mastered it would sit next to the latest afrojack track without any problems.
I hear tracks with only half this musical talent sell all day long on beatport

Ta for sharing.

on Bass by cmgoodman1226
Like the start bro. The toms are bringing the volume of the track down a little, they need the low end cut off them below about 80/100hz.
Bass is good fella as is the Doctor p ya ya sounds.

Track is awesome just needs a bit of work on the master, i only say that because, when something loud hits, it is pulling the tracks volume all over the place to compensate.
Snare is awesome, nice and wide with loadsa presence (is that reversed reverb on there too?).

Really good track bro, loved it. just needs a little eq'ing and some decision making on what sounds you want louder than others cause at the mo there fighting for space in the mix.

on Nothing Without You by SimonVHimmel
Hiya,

Track starts nice, good melodies, altho there is a hugely excessive amount of low end on every sound, and its really clouding up the mix. everything apart from the kick and the sub bass should be cut off at about 120hz. things like the arps are still there in the low hundred hz range they should kinda be cut off at about 700 hz maybe even higher.

Good ideas tho fella and the track itself will be solid when its fully arrainged.

on My Style by Mrbillionx
OZONE 4?

Big stereo sound on this one, kinda a bit to wide for me tho im afraid. the wide sound would work well on the panned stuff but i think the kick, snare and sub bass would benefit from being in the middle of the mix.

the tracks good tho fella, like the sounds, builds, drops. good work bro :)

Still think you guys should do an album or an EP.

The track is awesome (bass is a little out of key with the strings some times tho)

Lyrics and flow are awesome again..

Im gonna say it again i think you two have stumbled onto a winner working together.. could really make moves if you both keep working on tracks toghether.

Track could be awesome bro. vocals are about 5db to loud and the beat is a little inexperienced sounding but all the ideas in the beat/vocals are wicked.

Somemore hours behind the desk playing with sounds and stuff and these tracks are gonna be fire.

sounds like roots manuva - Whitness to Fitness.

Wicked track bro. your flow is spot on, everything comes together really well.

The background track is good to, it really needs to have some of the sounds changed to make it stand out but the ideas and arraignment are spot on bro.

would love to have a bash at remixing this, see what i can come up with.

Cheers for sharing fella..

on Looking for producer by Jolita
Hi Jolita.

Me and my recording partner are currently looking for artists to work with in a more poppy style. I like the style of your voice, and think it would go well with the euro pop style we are trying to go for. If you have any dry vocals you would like us to remix and send back so you know what we can do or if you would be interested in collaborating to see what we can come up with give me a shout.

Also if you want a list of any artists we are currently or have worked with let me know and ill send you some links.

Thanks for sharing

on Inflamez - Madness by Inflamez
Like the beginning, drums kinda threw me a little tho lol.

Bass is cool could maybe use a little low end sub and a higher bass to add some movement.

Not my cup off tea to be honest, a little to obscure and choppy, not awful tho just not my thing.

Thanks for sharing tho fella.

Track could be fire bro, just need a bit of space and width, some of the synths are a little cheezy too, im gonna go out on a limb and say fruty loops or reason yeah?

Get the two things i mentioned sorted out and you got yourself one awesome track bro, chord progression is top notch.

Try panning to give width to the synths also try a little delay on only one side of the synth to give it width.

Try a envelope drop attached to the pitch of the bass when it hits, by that i mean the bass starts off in the octave above and then very quickly drops down to the octave your playing, you'll know when its right because the bass will kinda quack a little, this will make the bass come through the mix and smack people round the chops :)

Because of the speed of reggaeton being quite slow you can use loads of effects like reverb, delay, chorus even a bit of bit crusher on the drums. all these things will help your track POP.

Thanks for making the track bro and sharing, enjoyed it very much

Many thanks for your review really appreciate the feed back. Not sure what you mean about the Envelope Drop. Are you saying to change the pitch? or Attack? Or? I think if i mix it down better the 808 and bass will come through more. I make the tracks on a MPC then bounce it onto Logic through an 828 Motu Sound Card. So I cant Put the beat through Bit Crusher. What i could do is Take a loop of the beat and put it on top of the track then put that through Bit Crusher and layer up the sounds. I heard some of your tracks aswell. really Like your Sound. great Quality. Some of the better quality stufff that ive heard. Your feed Back was spot. Feel free to comment on some of my other tracks. Would welcome the feed back. Many thanks Jason Grimal Beatz London UK

OMG , dude u are awesome, in a strange kinda drowning cat way. I would actually pay to see you do this stuff live i think it was just.... well frickin epic. Best bit about the whole thing is in the middle of the thing you even multi tracked in some bits, lol genius.

i think you kinda know where your downfalls are musically as the first reviewer was kinda a bit harsh, right, but harsh.

Jusk keep doing your thing tho , i cant see you winning American idol but your definitely entertaining bro.
