Cheers bc..you are way too kind in your description..I've remastered this and expanded the higher end frequencies..I was too much into bass mode when I originally mastered it..cheers planet :)
G'day GENXIA, I very much like the piano work, very much indeed, and the modulation works - no problem there. I do not know what to say about the drums - I'll leave that to someone else better equiped. Personally, I would have done something a bit different, but, it is not my track - it is yours, hence, your choice. Anyhow, well done.
Not much I can add, I agree with Flintlock on the bass line, in addition to his advice, I would also give the bass line more depth, more presence...not enough to thump your eardrums into the next universe, but enough to show you mean business.
Anyhow I liked your track, well done.
Great flow, unhurried, it's always terrific to see talents like you arriving at Looperman bringing your creations to those of us whose souls are in need of a bit of relaxation from the harshness of the unforgiving world...but that's just me. I lament I was unable to download it - definitly would have shown up on my playlist.
With outstanding creations like this, it is no wonder I am really starting to like and look for crunk ( and that's saying something coming from a 55 year old fart like me ). Now, lets see what else you've got.....
I didn't know what to think during the intro ( sounded a bit like that whale sound spewing entity hovering over the earth knocking out everything electrical in one of the Star Trek movies ), but then things really picked up - I liked it so much I downloaded it - thank you for making it available.
I don't normally look for this genre, I'm glad I bumped into it -it made me smile - great track - full of fun ( that's what I get out of it ). Downloaded for personal consumption in the car as I drive to work.
Good track, put together well, just one wee small suggestion - your vocals sound like they were clipping a bit - happens to me to - it can be a bit of a pain to balance them, but hey, it's all good.
Oh yes, wellcome to the best site around.
I had to come back again and give another listen. For this track you have a haunting flavour to your vocals - which is a very good thing. Perhaps it is just me but the string squeek slide ( Sorry I do not have the correct technical word ) was a tad distracting - you see, for me, the vocals is the absolute star here - I did not want to be distracted - I was enthralled.
Please keep them coming to looperman.
This is well put together. I liked it so much I downloaded it (thank you). I am not equiped to comment on the lyrics ( I've never been able to do that - I always focus on the music and the metering of the vocals to the track). I can definitely see this playing in the club scene.
Well done.
From my point of view, this is ambient. I see this track longer with few more bits and pieces, but then again, the track fits exceptionally well with the name of the track...
Keep it coming.
The bass sound is outstanding - I don't know what you use, mine sucks. This is a good track, at first I thought there wasn't enough changes but they came along just fine.
LOL...I just heard I guitar loop that I have used a couple of times - I don't know where I got it - maybe Magix maybe here at looperman.
Well done.
UPDATE: As to your question about genre...I listened to your track again because I wanted to be acurate and I realised that for me this is a hard question to answer - music can crossover different genres. I have a hard time to label my own since I can get a little nutty sometimes. For yours, there are electronic, funk, rock, and latin elements. I don't see any problem with it being based in electronic. Other may disagree which is ok. Go with what you feel - it's your track.
oh thank u... u r very kind and i tell u ...i always try to be very carefull with the basslines, tell me something, do u thing electronic is a good genre for this song??
or not .. please let me know.. ur opinion is very important
I am not that well equiped to comment on the techno sound and/or application, notwithstanding, I liked your track. It has some really good elements. A bit of attention and it would be blazing.
